There seems to be a major shake-off in Kaduna and this has to affect the civil servants. In a memo which we obtained and circulated online, the state government has commenced the compulsory retirement of people who are 50yrs and above while others are to be converted to Casual Workers. According to the memo dated 3rd January 2019 and signed by the Governor’s Principal Secretary, Salisu Suleiman, he directed that no Local Government should have more than 50 staff. The memo said all categories of officers on Grade Level 01-06 are to be converted to Casual Engagement, officers on Grade Level 14 and above even if they are less than 50years old are to go on compulsory retirement while those over 50years are also to go on retirement. All seems not to be well with Rochas Okorocha, the governor of Imo State, first he was battling his suspension in APC, now the court is disqualifying his candidate, his son in law from contesting. According to reports, A Federal High Court disqualifies Okorocha's son-in-law, UCHE NWOSU. ordered INEC to return the AA ticket to the right candidate. It was gathered that Sir Leonard Okolienta is the rightful winner of the AA governorship which was held on the 5th of Oct 2018 before it was hijacked by the governor. See the certificate being given to him below... This is Nigeria where anything goes, a country where our leaders go abroad for treatment when our healthcare in shambles. According to a man named Chigozie Ubani went on a tour to inspect a health facility in Ntighauzor in Obingwa East State Constituency and he met a gory picture. According to him, he said... No security personnel. No health workers. No patients. Yet, there are many sick people in our communities. This morning, I took a tour of this Abia State Government Health facility domiciled in Ntighauzor in my Obingwa East State Constituency, which has been moribund and overgrown by weeds for over 6years. Ntighauzor is the home of the current Rep and Hon member of the house and falls within the home constituency of the incumbent state Governor of Abia State. This and many more are reasons for which I seek to represent the good people of Agalaba at The State House of Assembly. Abia state is governed Okezie Ikpeazu of the PDP Party. According to reports, Eight different people have served as governor of Abia State since the state was created on August 27, 1991. These are images from the hospital. President Muhammadu Buhari has vowed not to betray the confidence of Nigerians from the last elections, saying his victory is a sign that Nigerians are satisfied with the change that his government embarked upon and shows confidence in his promise of its consolidation as idealized by the next level campaign. He was speaking at the victory dinner organized by wife of the President, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Muhammadu Buhari at the State House Conference Center, Abuja on Saturday 2nd March, 2019. President Buhari spoke of the abuse that Nigeria went through during past governments and explained why it had to take long to reposition the country back to its due course. He promised to use the next four years to conclude what he had started. The President also recognized the significant role women and youth played during the campaign and the election proper, promising to engage them more in his second tenure. Wife of the President, Dr. Mrs. Aisha Buhari in her remarks expressed happiness at the overwhelming confidence reposed on President Buhari by Nigerians, assuring them that he will use his second tenure to serve the interest of the masses, especially by addressing the huge gap between the rich and the poor in Nigeria. “I wish I can invite all the 15 million Nigerians that voted for Mr. President to this dinner, but no place can accommodate you all. So let me say thank you and assure you that you made the right choice.” She said. She also thanked the Women and Youth Presidential Campaign team, which she said, complemented the APC Presidential Campaign Council, as well as the Buhari Support Organization. “Specifically, I wish to express my appreciation to the women and youth presidential campaign team that I initiated to complement the efforts of the APC Presidential Campaign Council. As you all know by now, the aim of setting up the team was to get women and youth, who form the majority of the electorate, involved in all the campaign activities across the country.” She said this was a successful experiment that will be recognized in our nation’s political history. Mrs. Buhari used the opportunity to call on all Buhari campaign groups to raise the flag on government whenever they observe the need to do so. The event was attended by the wife of the Vice President, Mrs. Dolapo Osinbajo. Goodwill messages were delivered by party stalwarts including former IGP Suleiman Abba, Brig. Gen. Buba Marwa Rtd., and Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin. Dame Pauline Tallen, Princess Adegoke Adefulire, and Hajiya Najaatu Bala Mohammed. Highlight of the event was entertainment by various groups. From airports that are not friendly to poor toilet facilities to rude officers who demand money and lack courtesy. Ever since the remodeled Abuja Airport and massive outcry about the immigration behavior at the counter, lots seem to have changed especially the edifice which was recently commissioned by Pres. Buhari and it seems the immigration officers are in check if their excesses now. Dr. Joe Abah traveled out of the country and he used the Abuja Airport, the first time since it was opened for business and he has this to say! According to a series of tweets, he commended the management, read his tweets below... Good afternoon. I have some good news. The new Abuja International Airport terminal is...mind-blowing! As we alighted from the aircraft into the glass tunnel, you know that smell that usually hits you when you land in Nigeria? It wasn’t there. The AC in the tunnel worked. Thread. It’s real, guys. This is Naija. I had arrived on Ethiopian Airlines with my work colleague, Duke, who is visiting Nigeria for the first time ever. Duke said “Wow! Now this is an airport!” We had come in from the dreadful Addis Ababa Bole Airport. I just said “Yeah.” I didn’t feel the need to tell Duke it was new...until he asked. Boarding gates were spacious and nicely laid out. Comfortable waiting areas. Very clear signage everywhere. Yep! I checked: The clock displayed the right time. I was proud. Yep! The automatic thermo-imaging machines work. This young man triggered a red image and was immediately pulled to one side. Toilets were clean and had toilet rolls in them. No pit latrines here unlike Idu Train Terminal. The wash basins were clean. Trust me nau, I tried the automatic soap dispenser. It worked. Immigration was a joyful experience. I said “Good afternoon” to the pretty immigration officer and she said “Good afternoon, Sir. Welcome back home.” She stamped me in and said “Next!” That was it. The queue for Nigerians moved much faster than that of foreigners. As it should! You take your own trolley. No porters here. I counted 5 conveyor belts. I think they could have spread out each belt a bit more, but it was okay. Our luggage was out exactly 20 minutes after we touched down! That’s disembarking, clearing immigration, trolley & then luggage. Wow! Apart from my baby boyhood and my Ezemmuo-ness? No o. Nothing to declare. Then we were stopped by Customs! One stopped me and one stopped my friend Duke and asked what was in our bags. I said “I have brought him to Nigeria for the very first time.” They asked me “Oh, is he with you? I said “Yes.” They said “Ok you can go.” I was a bit miffed that they didn’t say “Welcome to Nigeria” to Duke. Anyway, this sign made me feel better. That I could see a sign to the Metro from a Nigerian airport? Great! Yes, we should worry about maintenance. For me, I’ll just enjoy it today and be proud! Thanks!! What's your take? Buhari. It seems there is more to this post as it seems the guy is an impostor, he seems to have lifted the image on his profile from the internet and use it to cause havoc. The wife of the man which picture was used has cried out to the public to please report the post and save her husband from attacks from people, read her post below... FAKE NEWS ALERT One Jibrilla Mohammed with tweeter handle @mrjb_mohd has cried out to Nigerians and the world at large to help him stop people from using his picture to spread fake news. Joining him in this appeal is his wife, Faiza, and scores of friends. Immediately after the February 23 elections in Nigeria, some guys had lifted the picture of Jibrilla, used it to create a fake account and sent out a very offensive message on social media. The fake account with user name Sani Bashir Mohammed has been pulled down but not before the post had got so many shares and screen grabs. Kindly disregard the said post and save this gentleman from this gross embarrassment. Thank you. Source: https://politricknews..com/2019/02/someone-is-trying-to-frame-me-man-whose.html
