Followed the first news half way but got all the vital info.
I am happy she got a new website and has learnt some lessons BUT Linda needs to attend Management courses. She needs to keep trying to be a better business woman by getting her skills honed.

I went to the new website (takes long to upload) because I read here that she published the personal conversation between Aye Dee and herself.
Whoever told her to publish that conversation needs to have their head (s) checked and for agreeing to publish it and doing that, Linda has shown that she really needs to grow.

Mr Aye Dee according to the info claimed not to be working alone but in cohorts with partners, claimed to have sent her emails regarding his (their) content which she used and due to her non reply was accused of bias and so decided to do what he did. Now, the problem seem to stem from the fact that she didn't reply his e-mails and he 'conveniently' forgot to use their regular channel to reach out.
That's enough to make any person not 'lol' as Linda appeared to be doing and 'you made me woman of the year' phrase that kept popping up.

This is where Linda should have focused even Aye Dee advised that. I see a lot a calculative person would have done with such info but definitely not publishing the conversation.
Politics abound everywhere; church, school, work, family, business etc. That personal conversation should have been used 'privately' to her advantage.
She also lacks 'emotional intelligence' as can be seen from the conversation.

Linda, please try and get several writers not just one.
Try and get a lawyer and a publicist, stop getting business decisions from friends and family members because they will always think with emotions. Get a P.A to answer mails, so that important mails don't pass you by.
I read on one thread that she encourages her readers with freebies, she should extend that to freelance writers and photographers.
Please, continue trying to hone your business skill. There are online courses, take them; if you cannot attend class physically. You will be better for it.

You spoke my mind, Linda needs to be careful and speak less of herself, she makes millions from blogging and I expect her to incorporate her business by now. Alex was forced to do what He did because she ignored him. Thats the problem with success if not well checked, it gets to your head and make you arrogant.

I pray this event makes her stronger, wiser and more business minded, by the way, her new website is a trash, it takes enternity to load and the way she used adverts to decorate it is an eyesore. I will advice she takes the 'ROTATOR ADS' Alex told her to use to customise her adverts.

She hasn't learnt her lessons, no source or credits to any of her topics, Eg Dbanj's Apple deal ought to have come from a source which she did not add. I am happy for her to be back, but little things destroy the mighty.

You all will agree with me that Channels TV is the best when it comes to news reportage in Nigeria. But with the birth of TVC News, Channels Tv is very, very boring in these my own views:
1. Same content: They have been doing same thing for the Long time, check Sunrise daily, the same procedure, pattern, talk and it gets getting boring all the time, same goes for Business Morning etc.
2. Graphics: I used to think AIT got the worst graphics, until recently when Channels join the league, their newsbar graphics are horrible, maybe John Momoh needs to hire new and creative graphics designer.
3. Studio: I dont know if anyone has watched TVC News, their studio is enough is wow you and make you watch the news even if you dont want to., Channels TV Has no excuse since they have enough space having moved to their new permanent site which is more spacious.

I think its time Channels take note of these little but important things in their station before they loose their viewers to TVC News.

fleps: I totally agree with jay. Let the passion get the better of you before you think of money. Google AdSense is not the only means of making money. People believe in niche authority and ORIGINAL CONTENT. I do not have AdSense running on my website yet but I have a custom ad running already after I did and published a promotional interview on my website. Just yesterday a potential client got me on whatsapp and we were already talking of doing a promotional interview or me totally creating a website for him.

Today by 5pm I have an interview with someone from Organo Gold. An e-chat on BBM about what the business is all about. This will be useful for entrepreneurs that visit my website. An NGO also requested I do something similar to that for then after the first promotional interview received over 20 Facebook likes just yesterday alone, Twitter retweets and LinkedIn share.

Saints2 I understand that you may be new. I've read a lot about AdSense and I understand that its only in 2010, 2011 that you could open a , scrape 2 to 3 stories and publish, apply for AdSense and get approved two hours later. Today, it is not so at all. It is more difficult and you need to follow the rules.

When I just knew about the blogosphere, I made the same mistakes. In fact my first website opened last year did not survive 3 months. It remained dormant until few months ago when I renewed it and placed it under the administration of someone else because I opened a new site to just write about what I like. Then I narrowed it to career, job search and entrepreneurship because I have experience there. That way my site is 100% original content and I'm gradually gaining authority in that niche that people trust my opinion and now wants promotional interviews.

Bro its a long way that can only be survived by passion and discipline. I plan to open two more websites for two different niches. My content will be affiliate and tutorial oriented respectively. But that my not be as soon as possible but with time. I may even with some serious bloggers here to get it running (when the time comes sha) HAPPY BLOGGING...

Hello folks,
I opened my blog for almost 2 weeks now, its a new blog and I have been updating daily, I have like 37 posts to it and I have done everything to make it quite appeal-able in my own way.

I had the intention of applying for google adsense and this is what I got

"Your blog doesn't currently qualify for AdSense"

What can I do and what do you think went wrong?
