Does that mean anyone can just come to the runway to snapshots? From the video, it looked as if quite a number of people have disembarked. Someone within the crew or security personnel did the recording. |

StOla: Stop all these lies.
The level 17 has much more earned than the N400k. They also have termination benefits that a short term political appointee does not have. In fact, a mere review of the actual payslip will tell you otherwise that a level 17 earn more than that N400k.
Even in the private sector, I have been opportuned to employ short term consultants who were earning more than me on a salary that I determined for them based on what was obtainable in the industry, after careful consideration that they were to cater fully for themselves and families with that singular monthly salary.
Even within my team, I know some permanent staff are so wicked and shortsighted that they will never allow such consultants earn more than them.
In this same Nigeria that many are lamenting like poverty is the air everyone breathes, there are consultants who earn over $1000 everyday of work for contracts that could run into 3 or 5years. It seems you base your point those earnings not minding the outrageous number of jobless people that couldn't earn even 30 minimum wage. Can you justify the service been rendered to you by your hired consultant to that of SA ? |
Business › Re: What exactly Is The Benefit Of Floating The Naira? by Sainttops(m): 10:31pm On Feb 14, 2024 |
[quote author=malali post=128444238]Cheaper Exports: When the Naira is devalued, it becomes less valuable compared to other currencies. This makes Nigerian products cheaper for people in other countries. Think of it like selling your cool toy cars to friends abroad at a lower price. More exports mean more money flowing into Nigeria!
Expensive Imports: On the flip side, devaluation makes foreign toys (imports) more expensive for you. Imagine your favorite video games suddenly costing more because they’re imported. This encourages people to buy local toys instead.
Local industries needs to be regulated. There is need for serious consumers protection law.
Boosting Local Industries: When local toys (goods and services) become cheaper for foreigners, it helps Nigerian businesses grow. They can sell more, hire more people, and contribute to the economy.
Why are businesses folding up then?
Investment Inflow: Investors like to put their money where it grows. Devaluation encourages foreign investors to set up factories, offices, and businesses in Nigeria. This creates jobs and stimulates economic growth.
So, innocent Nigerian that are not involve in their lavish spending should keep on with the penury?
Inflation: Devaluation can lead to higher prices for everyday items (inflation). Imagine your pocket money buying fewer candies because prices went up. But controlled inflation can be healthy for the economy.
In what way please, explain better. Reducing Debt Burden: Nigeria owes money to other countries (national debt). Devaluation makes it easier to repay those loans because the Naira is worth less. It’s like paying back a smaller amount.
But local factories are milking masses dry with their outrageous prices. Competitiveness: Devaluation makes Nigerian businesses compete better globally. Just like you try to win in video game tournaments, our economy competes with other countries. A cheaper Naira gives us an edge! |

Lord this Nigerian is ungrateful to your mercy. ObosiUkwalla: So I was arguing with a friend who stays in the states and he keeps saying I am a rich guy.
Current salary is about 512k per month (take home), and has an annual increment of 15% of your take home. This is aside perks of perdiem anytime I travel outside work base (15k per night).
Anytime he wants me to have minor something done in NG on his bahalf, he expects me to use my money and whenever I ask, he tells me not to complain that I am rich (he knows what I earn), I don't have a problem doing those things for him.
I don't see myself rich and pls guys, what can someone earn in Nigeria to be termed rich. Your opinions will count alot as I still find it hard getting the usual daily stuffs we all use. Concern that food I disagree with you. Thou the beans might not be properly cooked but their yams, rice, others are okay. I camp there also and the camp was awesome. Shey u sabi La-Krim? I was her ambassador back then 2018 Batch B. Nasarawa camp was fun. Abyima: My Nysc Dairy #Nasarawa/Lagos Corper #Batch C1,2019 I have always dreamt of serving in Abuja or Lagos but i couldn't see any on the day of my NYSC registration. On the faithful day I printed my call up letter, it was Nassarawa. Oh! I was caught inbetween the devil and the deep blue sea. I had no option cause I knew Nassarawa was close to Abuja. I journeyed down to Nasarawa through Abuja road. While I was in Abuja coming down to Nasarawa, I couldn't get hold of myself. My mind kept saying "Why not Abuja". Abuja is too beautiful. I arrived Nasarawa "Magaji Danyamusa camp" at 12:30pm. On reaching the camp, there came some children who helped me with my bags. I was shocked to see them at first, but I had to allow them. They assisted me with my bags to the gate and I had to give them a little token to show appreciation. There were soldiers at the gate who searched people's bags to see if there are harmful objects or Illicit drugs. When it got to my turn, they searched and told me to carry my bag on the head and jump like an Otondo. Yes "Otondo". That's the name they call new PCM who ain't sworn in yet. I jumped inside the camp with my bags on the head. I wanted to go for my clearance but the Nysc officials were gone to sleep. Then after I went to pick up mattress and searched for a good hostel room. I saw a good one " M4" male hostel which was so neat. I had to look for a good space befitting for me. I saw a good space and it was closer a fan. Who no like better thing "Laughs'" I met new friends that evening which happened to be my bunk mate "PD" and another next to me "Suleman" After that I had to buy bread and drink from the Mami market and even bucket and slippers too. The next day, I went for my registration. The crowd was something else but I had to wait patiently for my turn. I was given my NYSC kits by my platoon officer. I was in platoon 4. I had to go for early morning parade the next day, but couldn't because I was tired. I was chased by some soldiers out to the parade ground. But I told them I have done my clearance. Oh! "I lied" The Next day I was set to go. I woke up very early to join the early morning parade but the queue in bathroom was something else. "eyes rolling" The bathroom and toilets were unkept by some corps members. I only use the bathroom and go to Mami market, pay my 50 naira and poo jejely. "Smiles". That's by the way. So I joined the parade ground to wake up with Nigeria. Nigeria do wake up by 6am amd sleeps by 6pm. That is, we went to the parade ground twice everyday. That same day we sang praise and worship. The muslims went to the mosque to pray often. This is done everyday beforen 6am. Once it is 6am, everyone gets ready for the national anthem and there is a particular girl with the loud voice who always shout for everyone to be ready. She shouts " Braid shun, Stand at ease" I laughed at the sound of every sound of her voice. "Laughs" Some announcements were made by our state coordinator, camp coordinator and some NYSC officials on that day. I met some of my coursemates and schoolmates and some of my school mates were snubs. " I no send dem". I met corps members from different Universities, some schooled in UK, US. You can identify them by the level of their question. They always tell you where they school before asking question. "smiles" For example, "my name is Chichi, I am a foreign student, schooled in UK, please where is the place for clearance " "Laughs" It was time to eat because normally they feed us three times a day. I went to check on the food, it wasn't encouraging, so I stop eating their food. I gave one of my hostel mate my card to use it and eat anytime he wants. "I no wan purge" Especially their beans, they usually poor red oil and bring the beans down immediately just like that. Mami market had good food. They sell even sharwama. It's your money that will do the talking. "Smiles" That's by the way. |

DuBLINGreenb: You will hardly see Emeka Kayode marry Aisha Muhammad,
northern Nigerian Muslim women are prohibited from marrying Non Muslims esp. southerners, even if you are a southern Muslim you still can't marry from there if you doubt me go try am and live to tell the tale, you have to marry without parents permission and run for your life.
Before Islamic ummyad entered Nigeria through the desert, we all lived not exactly as one, but we didn't hate each other, inter marriage wasn't really a big deal, but after Islam entered a line was drawn.
The agenda to dip the Koran in the Atlantic became a thing. To be achieved by fire by force and as such Yorubas we're forced to convert at knife point and dagger point in the war of Ogbomosho in 1840.
To keep Islam growing worldwide bars were set against non Islam men marrying, Islamic women and Islamic men were encouraged to marry not just 4 wives but also marry non Islamic women to procreate for Islam and kill out the infidels/Kafirs.
A woman can only produce one baby every 9months, a man can impregnate a new woman every week, this is part of the reason Islam places value on men, let me add that almost all religions were invented by men and as such more value is placed on men but as a man in Islam the incentives and privileges you get are too much so you won't even dream of leaving.
Some examples are 1. your wife can not stop you from getting a new wife, it is a sin on her part if she does 2. you are allowed to beat your wife to correct her, it's in the koran and various haddiths.
you can see that the Muslim populace will grow exponentially as opposed to the non Muslim populace so that was the plan and it seems to be working look at the growth of Islam no new converts compared to other religions, it's mostly hereditary in Nigeria people are prevented from leaving Islam through Disinheritance and disownment from family, if you leave the religion you are disowned and you cannot inherit any property from any of your family members and you are made an outcast so people don't leave even when they want to.
If you don't believe me because you suspect every Nigerian has a tribal agenda fine and good look beyond Nigeria, look at Turkey, only 2 years ago was the ban on Muslim women marrying non Muslims lifted, a whole turkey.
This goes to show us that much of organised religion as we know it, is an instrument of social control and not a race to heaven. A particular group trying to control the rest that's all.q
One Nigeria
Congrats to the couple regardless I get rope o. In case your frustration reach climax. |
