Lions are actually omnivores meaning they eat both meat and vegetable material. … For our domestic Lions, grass is often the most readily available plant for them to munch. Secondly, Lions may eat grass if they have an upset stomach.

Romance / Bush Babies Are Real by SaintXto(m): 10:29am On May 05, 2023
Bush babies are real. Let me tell you about my encounter with one.

Bush babies are actually called “Galagos” and they are mammals that are related to Lemurs. But while bush babies are animals, I think we have mistaken some paranormal entities to be bush babies.

For example, it is said that if you take hold of their mats or lanterns, you'll become wealthy. But the bush baby iitself doesn't use mat and lanterns, what you saw might have been either a gnome or a skin walker.

In old English stories, gnomes and elves were short beings that move about at night. It was believed that if you take hold of a gnome’s child or you can capture it or it's property, then it will pay you with wealth to be free — but of course, people scarcely ever caught them.

Conversely, a skin crawler is a witch that shape shifts into animals. They could turn to cats, bush babies and what not. And they bring jinx.

It could be that the crying animal at your window is one of these two entities!

When I was in secondary school, on a certain Friday, our principal told us to bring brooms to school on Monday of the subsequent week.

On Saturday we went to farm to get dried fronds for my broom stick which I had decided to make myself.

My dad helped in cutting the palm fronds after a hectic day of weeding and attending to our crops. But in all the work, I forgot to take it home.

And with all the bustling about on Saturday evening and on Sunday, my memory failed me to remember that my broom was still in the farm.

In the middle of night, a Sunday night, I woke up with a start because I had dreamt about school and remembered that I had forgotten my broom in the farm. You can send me a friend request for more stories, thanks.

I needed to take it to the school the following morning because the teacher-in-charge was could with his canes.

I looked around the room and everyone was fast asleep. There was no way I could wake anyone to go with me and I couldn't wait till morning because my school was a far off distance from home and I needed to head there early.

In that anxiety, I didn't check the time, besides it was a full moon and it was so bright, my thoughts were that the night was still young.

I headed straight to farm without informing anyone. As I sauntered the farm, I was surprised that no one was heading to the farm. Had the whole village gone to sleep so early?

When I got to the farm, I saw two short figures that seemed to be crouched down. I couldn't actually tell their gender or age bracket but they sat facing each other talking and making odd crying sounds. My broom was in their midst.

A chill ran down my spine and fear immobilized me for some time. I wanted to scream but my mouth just stayed open.

I decided to throw something because I wanted to be sure if they were animals or humans. I reached for a cassava stem and threw it at them.

Immediately, they looked at my direction with their gleaming eyes. They picked up what I felt was their mats and started running towards my direction

They ran in a lopsided manner as though they had one leg each. They were hopping after me.

In response, my legs ran and the cool breeze sang a chorus in my ears. As I ran, I was sure that if I ran any faster my legs will touch my ears.

I kept shouting for my father to come. I ran for a good time until I started approaching cluster of houses and then, I didn't hear their footsteps again.

But I kept hearing voices, like someone talking in front of me and behind me. Though I didn't see anyone. When I finally got home, trembling and sweating profusely, I quickly check my brother's phone and it was 1:56am

Till date, I didn't tell anyone and I didn't step into that farm and with the shock, I didn't tell anyone what I had seen.

But I still see those things in my dreams most times

Ever seen anything like this

Romance / True Life Story by SaintXto(m): 11:26am On Mar 11, 2023
This is a true story and even now, years later, I still get goosebumps thinking about it.

When I was 19 years old, I worked as a counselor in a summer camp. It was really gorgeous, with wooden cabins and a lake, but it was in the middle of nowhere. The camp was surrounded by a dense woods. There was nothing but trees and canyons and the closest town was over 20 miles away.

One night, when everyone had turned in and was sleeping soundly, I was suddenly awoken in the middle of the night. It was one of those times where you wake up and you have the feeling that something is not quite right.

My heart was racing for no apparent reason. I just lay there quietly, listening intently. The whole cabin was wooden, with fly screens over the windows, so I could hear the sound of crickets and the breeze blowing through the trees.

That’s when I heard it… a very faint cry for help. It sounded like it was coming from the woods. It was the cry of a young girl lost somewhere out in the woods.
I quickly got out of bed and woke my roommate who was another counselor.

I told him to listen and when the cry came again, we both heard it. We quickly got dressed, grabbed our flashlights and hurried outside in the direction the sound was coming from.

It was intermittent, but I could clearly hear the girl’s voice saying “Help!” or “I’m lost!” quite regularly, and quite a way into the woods. She sounded like she was in a lot of distress. The quicker we found her the better, so we could get her back to camp safely.

It was dark as hell that night, and all we had to light our way were two puny flashlights. The girl was out there in the pitch black with no way of seeing anything at all.

The boys’ cabins were on one side of the lake and the girls’ were on the other. On the way, we ran into a female counselor. She had heard the cries too from her side of camp. All three of us headed into the woods together, shining our torches left and right and calling out to the lost girl.

We were reluctant to go too far into the woods because we didn’t want to get lost in the darkness. Whenever we called out to the girl and heard her respond, it sounded like she was quite far in.

After walking for about five minutes, we could hear her crying and sniffling, so we knew were were close. It sounded like she was only a few feet away and we could hear her saying “I’m scared! Where am I?” in a low voice.

We kept trying to reassure her and just when we felt we were right beside her, she suddenly went silent. “We’re here! Where are you?” we called out, but there was no answer.

Then, in the distance, we heard her voice again, crying “Help me! I’m lost! Come quick!”

We started toward the sound of her cries and just when we felt that we were right on top of her again, she went silent. We called out to her. We waited for her reply. Nothing.

Then, from even farther away, we heard her voice again: “Help! Why can’t you help me!?”

Something didn’t feel right. We all looked at each other and without a word, we decided to head back to camp. We called out to the girl and told her we were going to get help and we would come back with a search party. We could still hear faint whimpers and crying sounds from her, so we told her to sit tight and we would be back soon.

The three of us sprinted back to camp and rang the big bell at the main office to alert the whole camp that there was an emergency. The camp manager switched on the flood lights and we all met in the quad for a roll-call and a head-count.

They started by calling the names of the counselors. We were all present. Then, they called the names of the campers. All of the kids were present. Nobody was missing.

They went through the roll twice and three times. Every single person that was meant to be at the camp, was checked off and present. But what about the voice of the girl?

The camp manager and the other counselors thought it was a false alarm and said that what we had heard must have been just the echoes of our own voices. They dismissed everyone and sent us back to bed.

The three of us knew what we had heard and it wasn’t an echo. It was creepy as hell. The voice kept leading us into the woods, further and further. Someone or something was luring us deeper into the woods and to this day, I have no idea what it intended to do to us.

This was by far the creepiest thing I have ever experienced. Myself and the female counselor believed it was something paranormal, but neither of us could explain it. The counselor who was my roommate refused to talk about it, and whenever we brought it up, he would say it was just voices echoing, but when I looked in his eyes, I could see that he was scared to dea.th.

He just wanted to convince himself it didn’t happen.

Romance / My Uncle by SaintXto(m): 5:53pm On Apr 19, 2022
Sometimes I wonder why my uncle doesn't eat with us as one family. Since the death of his wife, I had always been the one preparing the meal.

No mater how special my food was, uncle won't eat it. This made me restless.

The funniest part was that each time I ask him why, he'd always say he is not hungry.

So one faithful night, I woke up cos I was feeling pressed. After helping myself out of the rest room, I decided to check on my cousins, Stephanie and Andrew.

Stephanie is 4 while Andrew is 10, I met them fast asleep, so I went back to my room. Just immediately I got to uncle room, I heard a strange noise so I took a glimpse and I notice uncle was eating, but I couldn't see him clearly.

"Wow, this man dey crĂ ze oo, shey him just dey do shakara for me say hungry no catch am... no wonder the food dey quick finish for pot. But why lying if he knew my food was delicious."

I went back to my room with different thought running through my mind.

" I must catch my uncle this time around" I slept throughout the day so I could be awake all through the night.

It actually pass 1am yet nothing happened. I was about going back to my room when I heard a knock on the door.

"Fuçk!! Who could that be, at this hour of the night??" I silently went back to my room, took a glimpse through the Window but I couldn't see anyone.

Few seconds later I heard my uncle communicating with someone.

After a while, I tiptoed down to my uncle's room

I Peeped through the door and behold I saw my uncle wife "auntie Chi Chi feeding uncle from her mouth, maggots was dripping down her hair, nose and even her mouth.

She was still putting on the clothes she wore before her death.
My uncle actually use his wife for blòod money.

My uncle is a rituĂ list

Romance / 2types Of Uncle by SaintXto(m): 2:12pm On Feb 20, 2021
™
There are two types of uncles in Nigeria, the I will get back to you uncle. This types of uncles are very stingy

No matter the kinda situation you find yourself and call them for assistance, their response is always " I'll get back to you"

600 years later ,they're yet to get back to you, when your wahala don too much ,they'll blacklist your number.

What's funny about this type of uncles is that when they later see you after many years ,they'll be the first to accuse you of not reminding about what you asked

They'll be like " ahh Pelumi, and you can't call me to remind you about that stuff again, you're trying to be proud niyen abi"

In short ,this kinda uncles, shishi, you can't get from them

The second types of uncles are the nice ones, this ones are very nice that they're ready to go extra length just to provide for you but they always possess devil[s] with them.

These devils come in form of there children. These children will always keep asking that you visit them but when you do, they'll use frustration to drain your life percentage.

Those kids always have a demon living inside them and the worst thing is that it is hard to discipline them because of there mother who you're trying hard to please.

So I happen to have a nice uncle , and he got two devils living with him .These kids wahala can make devil repent and accept christ as oga patapata at the top.

I always avoid going to my uncle's place because of these kids , anytime I need his help, it's either I corner him at his working place or if it has to do with money, I always inform him via handset.

But last week Saturday, I suddenly got a call from my uncle. He told me that his wife and his kids were on his neck that he should ask me to visit them on Sunday which was supposed to be valentine.

I was already cooking excuse for my uncle not until his wife suddenly snatch the phone from him and started saying how I'm running away from them because I hate them and different kind of blablashitshit.

Even the kids were adding fuel to the fire from background .

I didn't have a choice but to accept to visit them .

I got to their house very early in the morning on Sunday . I was greeted with a l warm welcome, both from the kids and my uncle's wife.

They're all delighted to see me, the kids looked like they're more mature than the last time I saw them.

I was served a plate of jollof rice and chicken which I ate delightfully even tho the kids didn't let me rest as they kept asking me different type of questions.

After i was done eating, the kids left me to their room while I retired to the sitting room to watch movie.

I was amazed to how mature the kids are, no more trouble. On normal day, they would have been dragging the dstv remote with me that they want to watch nickelodeon or cartoon network.

I was watching an American movie from Fox channel when my uncle and his wife came to the sitting room all dressed up and informed me that they're going out.

My uncle is a romantic kinda person and I was sure he was taking her out for a treat.

It was a win for me because with none of them around I'll be more freer.

I spent over three hours in the sitting room watching movie and none of the two ex devils exit their room to disturb me.

It was as if they're not around. I was liking the new them, I couldn't ask for more.
If I had known that they've changed , I would have turned my uncle's house to my second house.

That was what I was still pondering on in my mind when I heard the gateman opening the gate and a car which I was sure was my uncle's own drove in.

The two kids suddenly ran out to the sitting room.

" uncle Pelumi " the eldest one called my name smiling.

" yes " I replied him smiling.

" we want to surprise our mum and dad and we need your help " he said staring at me.

" wow, that's good, so how can I be of help " I asked them.

" if mummy ask you if you did anything, just reply yes " he replied me.

" that one is a small thing " I said smiling.

" thank you uncle Pelumi " the youngest said also smiling as they both ran to their room.

" Hello house " my uncle said humorously as they both entered the sitting room.

" welcome sir " I welcomed them.

" baba oko mi " my uncle's wife said smiling . meaning "my in-law"

" I got you something for val " she said as she gave me one of the branded bags in her hand.

I checked it and saw a cookie, a wristwatch and a pack of boxer.

" thank you ma " I appreciated her as I was extremely happy. It was as if she knew that I was suffering from boxer, the only two boxers i have is a disgrace to manhood. The yanch yaf torn beyond patchable.

Sometimes before I put them on, I always imagine if Itis the reason I've not been able to get gf, the energy emitting from those boxers is enough to chase my future gfs away.

" you're welcome " she said.

" let me go and change into something comfy " she said as she exited the sitting room.

" so how are you aburo " my uncle said.

" I'm fine uncle " I replied him.

I suddenly saw his wife coming towards us.

" baba oko mi, are you the one who did that thing in my room " she confronted me.

" yes, I'm the one " I said boastfully with a smile.

" what " she exclaimed.

" what's that " my uncle asked.

" come and see for yourself " she said as she led my uncle to her room while I followed behind.

" what " my uncle exclaimed as we got to the room.

" ahh " I also exclaimed on seeing what those devils did.

It was right at that moment that I knew that I bleeped up.

In front of me was a wire tied across the room and all my uncle's wife pants were hung on them, almost looking like a ribbon.

All the pants carried a letter which spelt HAPPY VAL DEAR.

I couldn't be more shocked in my life. What was more surprising was that the handwriting was looking mature like adult own.

" we told him not to do it oo, but he wouldn't listen " I heard the two devils said in unison behind me.

I just stood where I was wishing an aeroplane will just crash into the house and all of us will die.

Those kids spoilt my valentine, I didn't even remember to take the package they got me when I left the house.

Please who know where they're exchanging kids for tubers of yam, I'm not asking for the reason you're thinking oo, I just want to know ni
