Hello Drs and Medicos in the house. I'm a medical student currently preparing for my 1st MB, I would like to know how best to prepare for USMLE because I would like to practice in the US. I heard it could be written in parts starting from my 1st year in clinicals or I can write it while doing my Housemanship, either way, what are the best stratagem to go about it. Your help will be most appreciated, thanks.

Anyways, after a brief consultation of CIA World factbook in my system, I realised that I was wrong previously when I put the Nigerian Indigenous Muslim population as 59%.

Here are the actual figures;

Muslims = 50%

Christians = 40%

Others = 10%

The figure still puts Nigeria as a Muslim country anyhow. So based on that my argument still stands.

And neither would what they (wikipedia) posit be incontrovertible as they too like several other site have not conducted any census in Nigeria. Census result as released by NPC has always being marred in controversies. As it is allegedly being doctored by some people to score political advantage.

Because we are in different schools, I call her every blessed day and we last about 20 minutes on the average, this cost me a lot of money though but she does the same thing if not more. Also, I travel to see her and spend days lodging because she stays on campus.

Again 59% I don't ever remember the time CIA world fact book conducted a census in Nigeria. Maybe you too should stop judging a country by seating in Italy and reaching conclusion by what you see on the web.
On wikipedia updated as at last week has it that Christians make up about 51% of Nigerians and Muslims a little above 47%. You don't see me drawing conclusions from it because neither has wikipedia conducted a census to backup the stat. The issue is census in Nigeria is flawed for political gains and NPC has never conducted a credible census. Many are the problems of Nigeria, but it is not religion- Christainity/Islam/ATR neither is it population.

Mister, the north is a benign symptom and not the problem of Nigeria, Muslims are in Malaysia and Indonesia and this countries are better off than Nigeria and Ghana put together. A system against itself is the problem with Nigeria, if only political office holders salaries and allowance are cut down seriously and then powers in Governance is shared and check-mated, this unnecessary political tension coated in religious difference would be greatly reduced. Whenever I enter Niger state, I'm always amused at how the state governor (the so-called chief servant) manage to awash the whole state with bill-board bearing meaningless cliche of phantom manifesto key-points nobody ever gets to see. That makes me wonder if the people of the power state voted for Talba to mount billboards everywhere. The funds used in bankrolling this insanity would have been better used in doing things that would add value to the people. After vacation, I leave school and take to the road to Minna and immediately I reach Madalla (the first settlement that welcomes your ingress into Niger state from Abuja), it is billboard galore all the way, and of course, the road is smooth and motorable until I leave the federal government highway to transit the road from suleja to Minna. Then, (and this is the most interesting part of the trip) I read the billboards with my head oscillating up and down, not because I enjoy or agree with the chief-servant, but because my reading is being punctuated by deep potholes that has being burrowed by years of neglect. To think that the Governor ply this route on his frequent trip to Abuja is just incongruous. The superabundance of billboards and portholes on the same route challenge my intelligence a great deal. Getting to Minna, I saw buses that the chief-servant governor provided to ease transportation problems in the state, "this is more like it" I smiled to myself, but alas, Talba did not disappointed, as he is won't to be. Though I had inchoate affection for APC as I see it as an avenue for change in this stale air that has beclouded Nigeria, I would not sheepishly vote for it if its manifestos and programs/policies are not concomitant with what I see as a futuristic progressive Nigeria. True, Buhari has cult followership, as people who like and believe in him would continue doing so even if he continues coming out for the rest of his life, he also has meritoriously earn for himself people who find the very mention of his name repugnant. Is that what the embryonic APC envisage as sellable? well, I wish them the best as that would be an inauspicious path that would give the man in hat 4 more years. the statement attributed to Bamanga would just turn out to be true if the top guns from the soon to be wedded parties don't bury their personal ambitions for the sake of the country which they overtly proclaim to salvage from the corruption of the PDP. Common sense would mean that Tinubu and Buhari give their unreserved support to somebody who is young, youthful and can connect to the ever burgeoning under 40 Nigeria populace.
