banki:Mr man, I'm afraid, you are the one who need to check what happened. You seem lost. Amaechi betrayed Jonathan first. Though I don't care about all 3 of them (Ameachi, Wike and GEJ) |
docmoses:Yea |
iamskatertola:Yea, they accept DE students. |
ComrdDRS:That will depend on what you mean by one chance, normally, NUC review the stutus of a course offered in Universities at regular interval (in years). Some courses in Universities are not accredited. Some may be accredited, after review, they lose the accreditation. Others get interim accreditation Some get partial accreditation And lastly, some others are full. Accounting lost their accreditation. The punitive measure may or may not include ban on new admission. If a ban is placed on new admission, then the course may not admit new student. However, students already in it will graduate hitch-free. So far, I don't know if any 100L accounting student are being admitted. But I think they are, so no need for crying one Chance. One chance should be when a course isn't accredited at all ( not that it lost its accreditation). For in this case, admitted students won't be graduated. All the best. |
Dannyxy:I hail you too boss. |
Docmoses:Well, if you are admitted into medicine 100L, you are not considered as a medical student yet until you get to 200L. You will be ushered into the college officially after you pass all 100L exams during which all your courses will be in pure Sciences (physics, chemistry, biology, statistics and GSTs). Till then, you may stay in the school hostel if you wish, but this is on a first come first serve basis just like any other student. Also, should you wish to be off-campus, no problem. Same thing also applies to 200L and 300L students, but this time, the college will apply for the school hostel for all 200L and 300L medical student. Thus, designated rooms are given to the students so that only medical students are room-mates ( to give them ample time to read for their MB exams), however, most student still prefer to stay off-campus, the college will provide a bus to convey these students who stay off campus to the College. 400L-600L students who are in their clinicals are housed in a medical hostel located in the Teaching Hospital. Also, you may wish to be off-campus if you so choose. docmoses:Well, if you applied medicine 4 years ago, it will have been one chance. Today, the course is accredited, this was done 2013. Hence, U neva enter one chance ![]() Read this for more info: http://www.thisdaylive.com/articles/nuc-grants-accreditation-to-uniabuja-suspended-courses/154220/ |
Good afternoon good people of this thread. Congratulations to all those who have been admitted. My prayers are with all those yet to be admitted. Another admission list is coming out and more people will be admitted, more than those already admitted. So patience and confidence in God, hopefully, you all will be giving praises and testimonies after this period of waiting and anxiety. A very special mention to Jason555. No doubt your passion for medicine is amazing. I can't wait to see you here. All the best and pray! God is in control. |
I've been to the Teaching hospital before in Orlu, as a medical student, I must say the Teaching Hospital is not the best I have seen. Being a member of Nigerian Medical Student Association, I have been to ABUTH LUTH LASUTH UITH UNiabuja Teaching hospital IMSUTH Unical Teaching Hospital BSUTH Bingham Teaching Hospital UTH Etc and I must say, IMSUTH is the worst in this pack after Bingham. The govt of Imo should do something about it. By the way, the road to Orlu is the worst I've seen for a long time. How can emergency cases be treated there when the IMSUTH is in the forest. The sighting of the hospital is faulty. My prayers is with the medical students. Loosing MDCN accreditation isn't funny at all. |

This is to inform all students of University of Abuja that the tentative resumption date of the university is November 2nd, 2015. This has become necessary to enable the school resolve issues appertaining the Treasury Single Account and ongoing renovations on Campus. However, the Senate of the University will be meeting later this month and any discordant date will be communicated to students. We are therefore advised to disregard the rumour making round social media of a contrary date. James Oche Emmanuel Clerk, SUG Parliament. |

Amaechi used Rivers State money to sponsor PMB Shoki dance ala campaigns, now he is been rewarded by being a minister representing the same people of Rivers State he has so maligned. This will be 2 zero to the people of Rivers state which I won't support, the man Amaechi is very unpopular in Rivers and his public perception is an all-time low for any public officer in Nigeria, if PMB so much like Amaechi, he should make him SA on special duties to the Wife of the president. The shouldn't short change the people of Rivers State at all. Meanwhile, if APC and PMB and Amaechi have any shame, he will go and clear his name off this mammoth corruption allegation on his person. Should PMB foist Amaechi on Nigerians using the quota allotted to Rivers State, in vane did we labour for the so called change, because he won't be anything different from Obj n Atikwu. Bye bye Amaechi. |

People of puch newspaper, you are such good authors, I read the first paragraph and stopped reading. |
Stupid people will always be stupid. Nothing we say on NL is gonna change it. The only thing I have for them is keep it up, after all, our incoming president does not know the meaning of his party APC. Look where he is now; President elect. Only mumu people get to rule Nigeria. Congrats to them. |

APC won't kill us in this country oo! Choi My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 24, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because this post gave me cancer anyway. |
Fayose! You will forever have my respect. You are by far the most popular politician to his electorate. Again and again, the people you govern have shown enormous love for you. No other politician hold this internecine appeal with his/her electorate...that is why they all hate you. The reason for their hate is envy. |
basilico:What do you mean by Arabic Nation? |
The decision is yours to make. Marry the one you love and adopt kids, or get kids from a husband you may or may not love later. Sometimes sha! I wonder why people make AS such a big deal. Its a gift from the almighty to save us from Malaria plague. I hope you know the probability of birthing a sickler in an AS / AS marriage is 25%? I think its a risk worth taking and not all conceptus/embryo must be born. You know what I mean. All the best reaching a decision. |

Boko Haram have been watching the elections. Now that the result is out. They will die a natural death. Just like that. Buhari, I wish you long life, so that we can assess you after for years because I fear what will happen again should you be indisposed and Osinbajo takes over. God help my country. |
This is not the first time Mrs Fashola is saying this, and I really admire her and Mr Fashola for this. My fiancee is a muslim too and I'm Catholic. I don't think I have an issue marrying her in a mosque but I doubt if that is possible because I won't change my religion because of her. I am not compelling her to change her religion either. We intend to do a trado and a court wedding with a big reception. The Fashola's are progressives. For Mr Fashola to allow his kids baptism shows he is not in any way a bigot. I would have voted Fashola anyday anytime should he come out for presidency. But unfortunately, he is not. |

Of what importance is the wall? It did not stop the Fulani invasion, Bristish invasion and today's fanatic mohameddan extremism/fundamentalism. The builders of this world have rolled a thousand time over in their graves. Today, Hausa people are peasants and talakawas. Leaving off the mercy of Fulani hegemony. The royalty is all fulani and the typical hausaman has been confined to trading and farming. Only the hausa's in Nigeria don't have traditional rule over themselves. Keep on worshiping your fulani demigods. Bayajidda is spinning in his grave...spin of fury. #cowardice. |
