i hv a dream where one day the north and south will divide. Click like button if you think nigeria should divide in other for peace to reign...
Sorry! Keep your dreams to yourself |
I don't know why whenever topical issues on Nigeria is brought to the fore, NLders quickly get to their keys and start typing Meiotic comments and find a thousand and one reasons why the country should divide. I have said this over and over again, Nigeria is a mega country made up of diverse ethnic inclusions each having its own distinct identity. The only things we have in common is the country we call Nigeria. Many countries have fought and experienced trying times as these poking Nigeria but they found ways to outlive it. There was once a war between the American south and Northern state, today, the USA is a "progressive free state" typified. It would be a fairy tale to think that as a country we can divide into two, three, or four segments. To start with, Nigeria is not delineated into 2 religious halves by a conspicuous line, there a millions of Muslims in the south-west as far as Lagos, and the man Dokubo who has brought up this discussion is a Southern Muslim. Also, there are Millions of christians in Plateau, Niger, Kwara, Bauchi, Kebbi, Kogi to list but a few. How can you draw up such lines for the purpose of your phantasmagoric country. What makes you think the North will not further divide into several splinter state as they are by far not homogeneous by any sense. What makes us think the Yorubas would form a "happy ever after" state with the Igbo's. What makes us think the Niger-Delta wants to swap one evil of being a minority in Nigeria to being a minority with the igbos. My people, I might sound Naïve but that is the future I would love youths like me in this country to champion. Our problem is not in our diversity, we are not as diverse as America but they seem to be getting it right. Our country has been raped of its resources by our colonial Masters and the Baby-boomers generation of politicians who have ruled Nigeria from independence till date. They leave office and recycle themselves back into it making us to believe they are the Messiahs that we need and we are all incompetent. I say this, Dokubo has made a statement that will threaten the existence of peace in our country, he should be facing trial now, same thing goes to Buhari whose unguarded utterances in the past have contributed in putting our country in this unsavoury situation we have found ourselves. Do not be deceived, Jonathan has performed way below expectation, the souring hope and believe we have for the man in hat at 2011 elections have weathered off, but that does not mean we should swap tyrany of one kind for another. Jonathan has under-performed and he should know that his scorecard is what will determine his going back to Aso rock not cheap threat. At over 70, what is the coupist Buhari still eyeing Aso rock for? if he does not endorse a youthful and upright leader who is in tune with the zeitgeist of today's world, he should consider himself an enemy of the Nigerian youth and a briagand of our tomorrow, he does not have anything to offer in Aso rock and should accept it as fate. Again, Buhari,Dokubo, Atiku and all others who have made inciting comments of this kind in the past should face trial. Na gama! Shikena! |
@OP ok! Which school did you graduate from? |
A direct answer to this question is "yesterday". |
Sapphire86: Sorry, d cookie don't come out of d cookie jar lyk dat!No it doesn't, I also share your believe of not being forced in handing over the COOKIE, but baby!, there is a clause we can work on there, Just try to answer the question "YOU or ME?" By saying "ME" and bravo baby!! That way, the cookie will be on my paws and I will first of all EAT it with care before I have it»»»» I guess I can't have my COOKIE and eat it. Await your favourable response |
@OP, don't know how old you are or if you are from Nigeria but this is what makes a woman feel it»»»»»» MONEY_MONEY_MONEY_MONEY |
I have heard this type of story a thousand times. What I don't know is why folks like you don't learn. Hmm, anyway, she is gone and is only looking for a reason, I would advice you to let her do the moonwalk. Who knows, this might spur you to achieve greater things. |
Sapphire86: My dear sexkillz don talk am o!!!Cookie!! Hmm!!! You make me hungry when you say it like that, can you give it to me? |
Must you write by Musiwa again on the title...mtchw |
Ihuekwu....(don't know, name too long) but she's hot and I will vote for her anyday. |
All for the money, if not I don't see why a striker will turn down a chance to feature in the champions league for a newly promoted club. That is fabulous though, Chelsea should go for Lewandowski, Soldado, or Falcaos compatriot in Porto( forgotten his name: but the guy is lethal though) but Schurle? I have my doubts on him, he plays like Sturridge. |
Sorry! Double post. |
No! I think this least is for people who want to play about and have fun but not love. Many...(not all though) of what is contained herein is pure LOVE and I like it when my girl does that to me. I have other female friend that we have flings with and I can't tolerate all this from them...(Cos ofcourse I'm only interested in their cat not their hearts) but my girl, I love it when she does many of these. |
peteregwu: I dont like speaking about so called pastors. Because i myself am a bible believing christian. But if i see a fake man of God and am very much conviced he is fake, then i will speak so that men will not be deceived.Though I'm not very religious, the miracles of TB Joshua are real as I have seen living proofs of it. Secondly, the disciples of christ were tagged baalzebub and even He Himself was not unscathed. So your name calling isn't new, people 2000 years before you did same things to He that you profess Lord today. |
biafranqueen: He asked a question if JC was here would he live the same life style as the above mentioned? To answer your question, I don't think Jesus christ would live an opulent life-style should he have lived in this century. When he walked this earth several years ago, he lived an austere life-style even if no man before him could perform the science defying fits he did perform. People lived the large life in his time but he chose not to, he rather prioritized his mission and went about doing good. |
Well, just to ask both sides one question, how many millenia ago was the first man created, what race was he, what country was he created, who were the spouse of his children? |
Just to note, your introductory writ was not balance, it favours one side of the argument. |
There is something DIABOLICAL about those two goats squatting and chewing like SIR ALEX FERGUSON. |
Goaaaaaaaaaal |
lucenzo: goalllWhere? |
torres2: A record a striker will never beat #202I heard Ronaldo is nearly closing in 200 in less than 4 years. Waaaaaw!!! |
Corporal Enugu or Haruna Joseph? Who do we believe? The NPF is confused and are just witch hunting. |
There is another post here on nairaland saying the snitch is one Haruna Joseph, so which one we de na? That's ny problem with Nigerian police. Lawyers in the house, isn't there a clause that says evidence gathered from a victim through torture are not tenable in court, how are the gonna fry this dude now, or is that clause not functional in Nigeria? |
Well, in regards to the title of this piece, I would defer as I think being in a desert country doesn't necessarily mean sparse population, Kano is reputed for its colossal human head right from pre-colonial times, it is a commercial city and trade as helped in sustaining its population over the years. Even before the ingress of Europeans to Nigeria, Kano has being an important route for the trans-sahara trade route. Well, enough with the history here, just go to Kano today and you will still know that its population is gross. That being said, I cannot categorically tell you that the current figures in Kano are correct, that does not only apply to Kano at the first place, the figures in Nigeria are not incontrovertible. Kaduna also have lots of industries that supports its burgeoning population, and to the question of desert country or not, Cairo is one of the most populous African/Arabian city and it is @ the cross-bridge between the Sahara and Arabian desert. |
Jamie fox song just spur up in my mind.... ..."Blame it on who?... ...Blame it on him..." Corporal Joseph it is. I hope they have proof to authenticate such suspicion? If a certain Oshiomhole were to invite SSS, are we sure that another (say sgt JohnBull) won't come up? The police has lost credibility and I await to see the C_in_C that would purge it of this behemoth inefficiency and colossal but deep-rooted corruption. How will scores of police men be hacked down like chickens and tough questions are not being asked. This is show of weakness from the top Echelon, unfortunately, such overt weakly display is what fuel violence aginst police. In USA, you know you have 'F up' big time should a police die from your bullet. But people have been hackind down police since Tafawa Balewa left Bauchi to Lagos and it has not stopped till date. In Germany and several other Occidental climes, there are at most 2 policemen men per patrol vehicle and they can stand fire-exchange for a while before backup comes, in Nigeria, you'll find dozens of cop packed choc-a-bloc in a patrol van, and they all will take to their heels when the see a fearless and intrepid adversary, what a shame. May the souls of the dead rest in peace but they should not for the sake of doing something point fingers @ people carelessly. |
As much as I abhor what Dokubo just spewed out, I think nothing can be done to him, so unfortunate though. Tambuwal and co. are only ranting so as to raise discuss that would deride what Dokubo just said, Tambuwal is not a fool, he knows deep inside that disturbing the transient truce of MEND coupled with the Jihadist incursion from the north will only end in balkanization of the country. But what can be done, "nothing"....#unfortunatetly!!! When Buhari and co made similar comments, they were lampooned ny many, that is what will happen to Assari, so let them rain down the criticism but again, nothing will be done to him. The way this baby boomers and post independent generation are running our country is just condemnable, Nigerian youths should know better, come 2015, if we vote in this old cargos with shiboleth and decrepit ideas like what have being experiencing now, then we only have ourselves to blame,. If people aged 0-40yrs of age makes over 70% of Nigerians, then we have no reason crying against misgovernance and brigandage by a minuscule few, ....#word!!! Back to this topic, Dokubo should be tried for inciting violence, the same way Buhari and Atiku should have been tried. Datzall. |
@OP, how do I explain this, if ending a relationship takes 8 minutes, you and your girl have being through two minutes thus far, this is not intractable but if she goes out, catches fun, laugh a lot with them, that means there is something intrinsically wrong in your relationship. Either you are not probing her cat properly, or you are not fun to be with. Either way, sooner or later, she'll see somebody who gives her all these things she so much desire outside. Discuss it with her, find out what that nibbling problem is, work on your self. Note, if you are doing her right, you might not be this insecured. Lastly, if it doesn't work, hey! You can always let go. Don't know how old you are but trying to fool around with other girls to court her attention is so college-like, pray it doesn't boomerang on you. Rather than tow this teenage part, why not confront her, tell her your fears and worries, tell her....dude!!! Just talk to your girl.... |
