Why do our eastern brothers hate to see other people progress except their very own. Dangote is not the only member of the super rich elite club in Nigeria, in fact all ethnic group are represented in this exclusive club but he has distinguished himself as a believer in the Nigerian Project. He is doing what our government failed to do and doing it exceptionally well. We should stop hating and start giving him the credit he deserves so that other super rich Nigerians will emulate him.

Shehu Shagari and Richard Akinjide who were ministers in the cabinet said they never handed over power on will to Ironsi but were forced to by the GOC himself.

After the abduction of the PM, Tafawa-Balewa, the minister chose Zana Dicherima as the acting PM, but the acting President Nwafor Orizu refused to swear him in. The NCNC members insisted on making Ozumba Mbadiwe the acting PM.

Go read Shehu Shagari's Beckoned To Serve.

Exactly what Kole Omotosho also reported in his book "Just before the dawn" Zanna Dipcherima was chosen to be acting PM but Orizu Nwafor handed over to Ironsi which makes the Northern insecure and fearful of an Ibo agenda.

A country with Hausas producing food, minerals and raw materials from her resources while the Yorubas use their natural and technical resources to process and export our and their agricultural products at this period when the value of oil is sinking fast, is a timely marriage made in heaven.

We never can say, we may have a confederation called Oduduwa /Arewa Republic. We are not like the Biafran who let emotion reason for them. We have leaders who make decisions with foresight, any arrangement that will not allow the Northerners lord it over us and will make us benefit from their immense agricultural and solid minerals deposit will be welcome. They need our port services and our technical know - how and we will get handsome payment for it. These will help us continue our march towards industrialisation just like before the greedy Aguiyi Ironsi foist the unitary government on us. Welcome to the Confederation of Oduduwa and Arewa Republic.

Ds Bokoharam is more than what we think now and I pray it will not spread to other parts of Nigeria... God direct our leaders right to know the way the will stop ds Bokorubbish..

Now you just realised what we know for a long time, the most unfortunate thing about President Jonathan is that he believed Boko Haram is a Northern plot against him instead of fighting them wholeheartedly he started trading blames. We pray Boko Haram become history soon.

According to her link after the purported 541 Aircrafts bought by Buhari (1984-1985)

IBB regime added additional 201 (1986-1993). . .

Abacha added 20 (1994-1998)

Obasanjo added 94 (1999- 2007)

Yar Adua before he died added 231 (2007-2010)

GEJ added 20 ( 2011- 2013)

It is even more shocking that the Buhari regime bought more Aircrafts than the USA (398) despite stories of how broke we were that even warranted salient projects like the Lagos Metroline truncated . . .

It is not out of place to doubt the factual authenticity of the site with the glaring realities on ground . . . . Where are

Nigerian budget (1980 - 1986) //// Recurrent expenditure //// Capital expenditure
1980. //// 4.085 billion naira. //// 10.163 billion naira
1981. //// 4.846 billion naira. //// 6.567 billion naira
1982. //// 5.506 billion naira. //// 6.417 billion naira
1983. //// 4.750 billion naira. //// 4.885 billion naira
1984. //// 5.827 billion naira. //// 4.100 billion naira
1985. //// 7.576 billion naira. //// 5.464 billion naira
1986. //// 7.696 billion naira. //// 8.526 billion naira

How much out of our 4 billion naira capital expenditure was used to buy 986 million US dollars worth of aircraft and missile air defense systems in a time of peace with "jovial and peace-loving"neighbor countries.

A federal legislator who should know better should not descend to this ludicrous level of ignominy.

Don't forget this is at a time when 80kobo is equal 1 $ and this is spread across two budget year so therefore it is plausible and in line with the fact quoted by Ms. Dabiri. My fore fathers formed a country called Biafra and they were made to capitulate and embrace one Nigeria by your fore-fathers. It was a famous victory, and it is now my duty, as an Igbo man, to protect one Nigeria. Integration is important for one Nigeria. Integration implies being able to vote or be voted for in any part of Nigeria.

I have told you that you must remove the idea of domination from your head. Nobody intends to do that. You shame the efforts of your fore-fathers when you reason like that. If Igbos were as domineering as you implied, then I don't think your fore-fathers would have deemed it fit to fight for a United cause.
Your forefathers try to steal Nigerian oil immediately after it's discovery but our forefathers teach them a lesson they took to their grave. Your generation is following the same greedy path as your ancestors better you desist now before you bring the same havoc to yourself.
