kuss: we must walk in obedience for our prayers to be effectual, a man committing fornication or mas-tur-ba.tion can not be free from having intimacy in the dreams no matter how much he prays,
walk in obedience then commamd anything evil to leave and it will leave u
Thanks for an insighful contribution. But is obedience to God always a prerequisite for ones prayer to be answered? What about our faith?
the splitting of the red sea is not a real story.
it was a metaphor with the red sea representing the Egyptian empire.

one man and his one God was able to split apart something so powerful.
back then in Egypt water = life. and Egypt was their life

so they used the red sea to compare the mightiness of their empire
and in order to show how much of an impact moses had they said he with his staff alone
was able to do what was never done before.

"freeing God's people"..he split the kingdom >>>> split the sea.
To you the red sea represent Egypt, to Obadiah it is Edom. Whose report shall we believe?

bizmahn: Why tell anybody to sign in the first place before the transfusion.Once you know they are Jehovah's witnesses then here's the trick;take them out for a sumptous lunch and while they are at it administer blood transfusion to save the life of the dying patient.I stand to be corrected if I'm wrong.
Your suggestion can be taken into consideration assuming one is sure the patient and the relative will not sue you when you must have saved the patient's life.
Again if any complication happen to arise, the charges that will be leveled against you might be enough for you to loose your licence to practice.

Luxury Champagne brand, Goût de Diamants, has launched into the Champagne market and is striving to become the world’s most enjoyed Champagne by commissioning this one off design for their private client.

kuss: Now can we say that some cases of evil possessions are the hand work of God?

TO START WITH AS A BORN AGAIN CHILD OF GOD, YOU CANNOT BE POSSESSED BY EVIL SPIRIT, BECAUSE THE HOLY SPIRIT AND EVIL SPIRIT CANNOT DUEL IN THE SAME VESSEL. BUT YOU CAN BE OPPRESSED BY EVIL SPIRIT IN ANY AREA YOU LACK KNOWLEDGE.

GOD DOES NOT HAVE EVIL SPIRITS HE SET ASIDE THAT HE CAN USE, HE ONLY ALLOW THEM INTO PEOPLE LIVING IN DISOBEDIENCE.GOD DOES NOT TEMP PEOPLE WITH EVIL Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death
James 1:13-15 (KJV)

THE WORD TEMPTED IN THE ABOVE VERSE CAN ALSO BE TRANSLATED POSSESSED.READ THE ABOVE VERSE CAREFULLY USE POSSESS INSTEAD OF TEMPTED FOR BETTER UNDERSTANDING.

AS A BELIEVER ANY EVIL THAT COMES UPON U IS THE ONE GOD ALLOWED BECAUSE HE KNOWS YOU HAVE THE CAPACITY TO DEAL WITH IT. There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
1 Cor 10:13 (KJV) SOME OF THESE THINGS WE CALL TEMPTATIONS ARE ACTUALLY NEEDED TO BUILD OUR FAITH.

THINGS OF THE SPIRIT ARE VERY DEEP IT TAKES SPIRITUAL UNDERSTANDING TO KNOW THEM. MARK4:11
what do you think it will take to cast out such spirit,
Prayer or obedience to God?

kuss: Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. 23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
1 Sam 15:22-23 (KJV)

FROM THE ABOVE VERSE GOD REJECTED SAUL FROM BEING THE KING BECAUSE OF DISOBEDIENCE SO HE ALLOWED THE EVIL SPIRIT TO AFFLICT HIM
do you realize that in the case of Job you will clearly notice that satan got permission from God, but in the case of Saul it seems like God actually had evil spirits that he set aside and use them at will.

Now can we say that some cases of evil possessions are the hand work of God?

1 Sam 18v10
And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand as at other times, and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

This verse got me thinking, how come an evil from God possessed someone?
Pls can someone shed more light on this.

Image123: i said things to come MAINLY, anyway ok.

The FACT remains that his 'ambition' was to ascend to Heaven, i didn't write it. Its either a contradiction or there is more than one heaven like i already opined. Remember Paul wrote of third heaven? He didn't sin in God's Heaven if we insist that he sinned in heaven. He wanted to ascend to that one.

You asked three questions in that quote, and i answered the first and more important one which scriptures talk about. i don't currently have scriptures to assert that there will be freewill or no freewill.

Nobody tempted lucifer, he corrupted himself. On the other hand, man was tempted and is tempted. But the word of God promises us that nothing that defiles or can defile will enter God's heaven. i believe that. Anything capable of defiling is without/outside. More reason to state that satan's initial sin was outside.
If lucifer actually corrupted himself, we can't rule out the possibility of another person corrupting himself since according to your post it is possible for one to corrupt himself without being tempted by another.

I don't think the bible recorded that anything capable of defiling another will not enter heaven rather it states that anything that has been defiled will not inherit heaven Rev21 v27.

striktlymi: Gbagaun! Gbagaun!! Gbagaun!!!...

That was the sound that brought me back to the planet...and then the awful singing followed...to think that this was supposed to be some hymn of praises to God...

Now I am not sure which is worse...the prophetess' singing or the sound of the beat up 1985 Volvo with the bad 'exhaust' that just left the fuel station...and to think that God had to listen to this lady's singing...**just hope he has good ear muffs**

I have been wondering if my day could get any worse with the really bad experience at the bank...my frustration and anger could be easily seen and now this unending noise...if only the fuel pump could work any faster...

Tried really hard to be calm and get my mind off the troubles of the day and this incessant noise...needed to focus on something else and I thought maybe the prophetess' outfit would serve my purpose well...

Just as if she read my thoughts, she headed straight for me...she sang a little...almost danced a bit and then her message came: "THE WOMAN YOU CALL YOUR WIFE NOW IS NOT YOUR WIFE...YOU WILL FIND YOUR WIFE WHEN..."

I just couldn't take it any more and with a growl I shouted I DO NOT HAVE A GIRL FRIEND, TALKLESS OF A WIFE...slammed the door of my car shut in anger and zoomed off.
I also have a prophecy for you,
Hope you will not logout because of that. Hahaha pls stay tuned

striktlymi: Evening peeps,

I have been doing quite a bit of thinking and meditations if you like but still I am at a dilemma. If we are capable of committing sin here on Earth, why then can't we be capable of sinning in heaven?

I guess the answer that might jump right out would be 'free-will'...but again it can be argued that since Lucifer was able to sin in heaven then it is probable that we might just be able to sin too.

If we think that it is impossible to sin in heaven then the question I ask everyone is: Why was Lucifer able to sin?
yes I believe it is possible for us to sin in heaven but I doubt if anyone who eventually make it to heaven would want to try such a thing knowing what fate awaits him.

Christianity Etc › Re: Bus Preacher Beaten To Coma In Lagos After Condoms Fell Out From Bible by SalC: 10:41am On May 27, 2013
Mayhem broke out at Toyota Bus stop, in front of the popular Ladipo Spare parts market, this morning, when a Bus Preacher was dragged out of a bus and beaten to a coma after Condoms allegedly fell out of his bible as he preached the ‘Word of God’.
The Pastor had embarked on his journey at Apapa and proceeded to preach to the people on thebus, using very strong words like “If you wear trouser you’ll go to hell! The Devil invented Make up! Weave on is from Marine Kingdom! If you have pre-marital s*x you will burn in hell and your skin will peel!”

The people in the bus were so moved; some started falling under the anointing. Our eye witness, Mr. John Mbakogu, who was on his way to his shop at Ladipo told us:
“People were just falling as he was layinghands. One man even fell out of the bus under the influence of the Spirit. It was amazing – until he raised his hands to cast demons out of one girl, and 2 Durex condoms fell out”

The angry men on the bus who had been having pangs of guilt due to the pastor’s preaching about s*x suddenly got really angry and pounced on the pastor, who allof a sudden started shouting “I also preach safe s*x! Safe s*x is good!”
Too late.
Policemen had to be called to the scene to save the pastors life. So far 2 arrests have been made, and the Condoms have been kept as evidence.
Award winning joke

peteregwu: now I see where the problem lies. come, don't u have pastor in your church that encourages you? for God sake nobody is holier than thou. if my pastor is encouraging us to preach the truth, is their anything bad in it? I don't jist understand some people the way they think. in the bible did Paul not exalt timothy to preach the truth without compromise? so, what fault are u looking for now? well, if chOwen got some issues since it's inception, then bring it on. so long u can prove it. I don't worship chosen or my pastor, I worship Jesus. do u think am better than those in the grave? never, it's by the mercies of God. If I see a good chirch preaching the truth, I will praise them and thank God.

if people are criticising your church for going against the bible, then u have to do something about it. if u are true Christian, u won't have any hard feelings about it. rather u WIL go to the bible to prove it. thats the way we are thought in the chosen. every practice we carry out is in the bible. thats how someone here was telling me we worship apron in chosen, I laughed. I just see the guy a not having the knowledge of the bible. I referred to him that even rot miracles through the apron of the desciples. and precise the apron is used for advertisement purpose. everything about God is wisdom. His d one given us all this wwisdom. my friend we use everything we have to serve God.

pls if you a catholic, it's high time you prayed that God will give u a place to worship him in truth and spirit. the time is short. and no one knows when death is coming. now is the time of salvation. remember a place where the truth os not preached is lacking salvation, and a place their is no truth, the spirit of the Lord will not be preSent their, and it will be difficult for one to be saved. and if one should remain in a chirch like catholic and die, such person can not see the kingdom of God. hope u are not susurprise by what I just said now?
I need not be surprise because I know you have taken the place of God as a judge and am not here to engage you but to let you know it's possible you might be the one in the wrong place.
Christianity Etc › Re: Catholics Want To ‘talk’ With Atheists by SalC: 1:46pm On May 17, 2013
peteregwu: well i don't know what you mean by criticism. if one should stand against what is wrong, people say one is critising. i believe what some wants is to for the truth to be sampled on the ground. thats not possible. if we refuse to stand for the truth, then the Lord is ready to bypass anyone or church to establish His true church that would stand for Him come rain or sun. that is the problem with the church of today. when you preach the truth without compromise, they will tell you that you are taking it too far. they will tell you to take it easy and that you are not Jesus. i have discovered that even the so called christians loves to see christians compromise the truth. they dont like to see people standing for the truth.

in the chosen last concluded 3days leaders and workers conference, out general pastor stated that when he started preaching the gospel when the ministry was incepted, he said many(even pastors) came to him that he should take it easy, that it is not like that. they also told him he cant get more members by preaching too much truth. they told that members will run away. but he rejected their notion and told them the Lords chosen is not for the world but for those ready to go to heaven. then he continued and till now he still preaching the truth till today. if you have listened to him before, then you will attest to what i am claiming here. he also encourages us to do the same no matter what in death or any situation. he said even if they want to kill you, "dont be afraid, they can kill the body but they cant kill the soul."

that is exactly what true churches or general overseer needs to teach their members and not to hold chaplets, holy water, holy mary as their god. so, my criticism is justified
I really don't know if you are the one justifying yourself or God justifying you. Your pastor told you what you wrote above and you believed that? I now understand where your spirit of discernment and justification is coming from. I am not here to bash any church but this your holier than thou issues will not help. I still know Chosen has got series of issues since it's inception.
Christianity Etc › Re: Catholics Want To ‘talk’ With Atheists by SalC: 1:05pm On May 17, 2013
peteregwu: well, if you lack the knowledge of the bible, then go ahead to criticize. if the chosen ministry is not doing the right thing, then you have the right to criticize. but if the church is doing what is right according to the scripture then learn from those practicing the truth or you join them. i am a chosen am so happy to be one of them. thats the one the greatest thing the Lord did for me. not only making me a member, He also gave me salvation. i that i was a member of the white garments church, their is a difference now friend. thats why i also critisise the white garmemt churches also.
The energy you channel towards bashing other churches could have been used to gently convert those who still need to be converted. Do you think it's possible for you to bring anyone to God using your bashing method? How are you even sure are you even going close to God. Anyway my prayer is that God should find you worthy of an eternal inheritance of his kingdom no matter what. I wish to stop here. Shalom

peteregwu: well, am not surprise because they are fulfilling the negative prophecies in the bible. I also believe that the vatican is the Harlot(the mystery Babylon) mentioned in the book of revelation. they are the church that is upon seven mountains, that is the one of the sign to show they are the mystery Babylon. they are also the one going by their history of warring against the saints in time past burning them at the stake. Revelation 17:[6] "And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."
so, they are the one no doubts. pls read below.

Revelation 17:1-11 KJV
And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great LovePeddler that sitteth upon many waters: [2] With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. [3] So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. [4] And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: [5] And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH . [6] And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration. [7] And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns. [8] The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. [9] And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. [10] And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space. [11] And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
I see you enjoy criticizing anything Catholic but when someone says anything about Chosen you will start crying like a toddler.
