Christianity EtcScriptures In The Old Testament Christ Used To Resist The Devil by salvationproject(op): 3:45pm On Jul 09, 2017
MyCampusDaily special Sunday research is dedicated to all our Christian brothers and even Muslims who in one way or the other believe in the stories about the Man(Jesus Christ).Today we shall be highlighting the scripture reference Jesus used in resisting the Devil.
I know that as a Christian, there must have been sometime you read Matt. 4(story of Jesus temptation) and you were confused i.e of where He was referencing to when He usually say "for it is written",Today this post shall answer that.
1.Devil:if you are the son of God,tell/turn this stone into bread(Matt. 4:3)
Jesus:it is written(Deut. 8:3),man shall not live by bread alone but on every word from God mouth(Matt. 4:4)
2.Devil:if you are the son of God,throw yourself down(Matt. 4:6)
Jesus:it is also written(Deut. 6:16),do not put your God to test(Matt. 4:7)
3.Devil:all this i will give to you if you bow down and worship me,say the tempter(Matt. 4:9)
Jesus:away from me Satan!for it is written(Deut. 6:13),worship the Lord your God and serve Him only(Matt. 4:10).
Conclusion:This proof of Christ exact words in the old testament leaves Christians with another character of Christ and that is studying the word of God but note Satan do study the scripture as well, this can be seen in Matt.4:6 where He was quoting from Psalm 91:11.
Cheers.

So it went when i discover 2 to 3years back that there is this un-quavering love of mine for the internet and communication gadget in general but no finance to kick-start it up.things got worse when i found out according to an article that creating a social network would cost not less than $10000(where on earth am i going to get that from at this earlier stage in life),i created a blog but i deleted it because i found out blogging is not my calling, tried a forum though a free forum but wasn't comfortable with it,so it was my search for the process of creating my own hosted forum that somehow led to me creating this social network named"NigGo" as in nigga but we use to often pronounce it niggo.though it is presently hosted on a free plan but i plan investing in it and fully hosting it and creating an app for it cause i believe it will go far.

5.Message: As you already know,an instant messaging platform where u can text your friends and vice-versa.
6.Events: Post upcoming events.

8.Chat: Chatroom ranging from politics to education, general discussions, religion e.t.c. still working on this.
E.T.C
More coming:
Usergroups

Thanks
EducationJamb2017:my Observation And Testimony by salvationproject(op): 4:42pm On May 19, 2017
Introduction:To those, who were members of nairaland by last year 2016 must definitely remember salvationproject,a 2016 jambite whose joy was stolen due to how Prof. Dibu Ojerinde(can't really remember the name stole my happiness) commenced and conducted the 2016 jamb examination whose most prepared candidates failed not because we aren't brilliant but God knows why.The aftermath of that event was me being downtrodden, frustrated and thought of suicide frequently arising. Many gave in but God helped me and finally i applied for a pre-degree programme @Federal University Of Technology Yola, where we spent several thousands of Naira but just as a Christian will always say"all things work together for the good of those who love God" though am not that type of a person that can truely be say to love God that much but the good aspect was that,Here in the programme i was liable to study the average university life and give in(understand) for some courses i was usually afraid of e.g maths(To the extent i was liable to challenge engineering and science students who believe they were gurus in maths) and accounting to the extent i wanted to opt in for the course until NUC recently scrap mgt. courses from the university but in summary i fell in love with some really major courses i used to be afraid of.
2017 Jamb:
As a candidate who wrote the 2016 jamb exams and failed despite my preparations,i was not much into preparations this year rather i was trying to figure out where i got it wrong last year in order to opt in for amendments and note that your family members don't care about the concept of computer failure,Once you fail, you are a failure to them.So i was up to the task of persuading them to believe me once more by doing well in my next exams. With the advent of the new registrar and various gigantic write-up being written about him with regards to his giant strides as a former VC,My expectations became high but were later down due to the strenuous registration process that were introduced whereby i and my course mate have to sleep outside school(Locations we are not familiar with)at several intervals just to get ourselves registered for the exams and finally i was schedule to write on Monday 15,The tension re-ignited and i was again downtrodden because:
1. My guardian spent so much to register me for the programme,so the tension of disappointing them was high.
2.It's going be a disappointment when your coursemate are resuming september and you aren't. e.t.c.
Advice from Godly and Good friends help a lot and i was liable to make the following decisions that will take place during the exam period:
1.More Godliness
2.Enough preparations that can actualise me scoring 180 and above in order to"write my name down with a pen instead of a pencil" just as our lecturers will usually tell us.
3.No change of answers after selection of an option since i am dealing with a computer which is usually known to malfunction when extraordinary steps are involve in operating them.
4.No answering of all questions.
On the faithful day,i prayed like never before to the extent one of the invigilators suspected i was carrying out exam malpractices. And with regard to my rules,i kept them cause i can remember selecting options in a haste being conscious of my time but on later cross-checking,i found out they were wrong but refuse to change the option and i answered only 162 questions out of 180 consciously. Finally we were done and on releasing the result of Saturday candidates,i saw fare-play but could only pray that it is extended to all candidates including my batch but the delay in the releasing of results weaken me in which i felt, delay leads to more manipulations.I couldn't sleep without the thought of my result. i.e trying to figure out an alternative to whatever may be the outcome and whenever i was even liable to sleep off,i usually dreamt of my result and on one of several dreams,i dreamt of me scoring 259 but the score was reducing just as a phone will count when downloading and it reduced to 57,i was tormented and finally after the trauma i am happy to have gotten the below results as attached to this write-up.
Conclusion:
My observation is not bias neither am i observing this because i made it but truely i must confess that JAMB 2017 is one of the free and fair event that has happened in Nigeria, atleast for once those who read well are rejoicing and those who failed are pointing out their failures on their unpreparedness and cbt centre failure not on jamb reducing their score unlike last year JAMB.So this spelt kudos to prof. Oloyede. But just as the saying goes,to every merit, there is or are demerits,The demerit of this year Jamb is reduction in the standard of Questions,i won't really want to attribute this to failure since it can be improve upon,so therefore i encourage jamb to keep up the good work(i even heard a Nigerian Company developed the cbt software) to the end of this exam even to next year and beyond and increase once more the standard,Also note my fellow nairalanders that just as there are news of success, there are even more news of failure and i know jamb have been and will continue to issue press statement in order to convince the public of their effort and good delivery but this is that of a jambite. So i dedicated my result to God,His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.God bless Nairaland...God bless JAMB and God bless Nigeria.Goodluck Prof. Oloyede.
BY JOSEPH ISRAEL.

RomanceRe: Pls Help!masturbation Is Ruining My Life... by salvationproject(op): 8:53pm On Oct 11, 2016
CONTINUED...
Note: Pls having reviewed my last write-up,i found out that nairaland changed some words i used e.g Hot instead of hot and ejaculation instead of expulsion e.t.c,so i believe same will be accrue to this continuous write-up...
EFFECTS OF THIS MASTURBATION
This act have hurt me in various ways hence this write-up to seek advise from sound and learned nairalanders but some of this ways are as follow:
1.Spiritual effects:Since i started this act with various repetitions daily,i have come to a certain conclusion that God must be really angry with me in the sense that i am wasting my offsprings(sperm) and also am a cell leader teaching and preparing people for God glory but am still lost therefore i am an hypocrite and i hate that status cause i know christ do hate hypocrisy as well going by how he spoke about it in the Holy Bible... In order to solve this thought of mine,i decided to do some research on whether the act is a sin or not but i learned it is healthy but the act e.g lust that lead us to it is the problem and mine is porn...so all day i pray for forgiveness, help from God.
2.Frustration: This act has frustrated my life that i even break various vows e.g when i was a teen having being raise in a family that love modesty,i promise God not to have sex until am married but recently i did with a girl i promised no sex relationship with hoping that after that experience i may be free cause i started having feeling that maybe is because i have not sex a woman before that is making not to leave the act but unfortunately barely a week after the experience, the urge returned.so am really frustrated.
3.UNCERTAINTY ABOUT THE FUTURE:this act has make me to be uncertain about my future e.g ability to make babies in the future due to the amount of sperm i may have lost during this years which i dont know may lead to low sperm count and also am afraid of the ability of making babies with defects cause in the course of perpetrating this act, something may go wrong with my system and i love beautiful babies.so am afraid...
4.HEALTH EFFECTS:am afraid that in the course of using cream and soap which usually contains certain amount of chemicals in this act may cause some health pros or even STIs to my organs and system respectively and perhap after masturbating i usually feel really weak and sleepy...
INSECURITY:In disposing this act,i am always insecured being mindful of the act that i may be caught which is going to be shameful and otherwise...i can remember when i usually visit my friends, when the urge comes...i find myself in the bush practising this act despite all odds..´
6.THE END:looking at the world and it features,it is certain that there is a God and only a foolish man will denise this but anyway it is left for we believers to find the religion owned by the Creator and i bet u christianity is,cause it foundation(BIBLE) was written by 40 authors who testify of a God who has reveal His glory to them and other religious books are aftermath of this testimonies which were compile into what we call the Bible today, what am driving at is my faith speaks of a bad end for sinners and immoral people...so it pains me to know that i am practising/cant evict from the acts that may lead to bad end if peradventure i die today according to his will may end up in destruction...
E.T.C...
FINALLY: Nairalanders,am heart-broken over the turn-out of events in my life and i regret that great devil's day but i am writing nevertheless because i believe if death dont take me away according to His will...there is still room for amendment maybe now or when married but i want to seek the advice of sound and learned nairalanders to advise me.THANKS...
RomancePls Help!masturbation Is Ruining My Life... by salvationproject(op): 7:17pm On Oct 11, 2016
The act of masturbation is now one of the items in my life that i can now consider an hobby but definitely not a good one to me due to how it is destroying my life.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
Whenever i recall how i was lured into masturbation some years back,it make me to feel like going on an evangelism to all parents to be on the lookout for their children peers... Born into an average nigeria home,my success story is that which i usually described as"new generation moses story" cause of how i left my father's house during my early days and was brought up in the house of the king of my kingdom by God grace earning me the title of "small prince" among peers and others...so as usual, friends and chiefs often visit the royal family which in turn often give us the opportunity to make friends with their children and play around and one form of such plays common among many nigerian children is that of watching porn movies(something that usually excites us). Finally on the devil's day,as we were engaging ourselves in this secretive act,a friend who was among us(he was older than me) requested that we give him bathing soap and of course we asked him what he needed that for but later directed him to the bathroom.when he came out,he spat on the soap and we were like" what a disgusting, dirty and stupid act" but he told us to watch out for what he was about to do and we were surprised when he removed his panties and started masturbating and even ejaculated(we were like God forbid us engaging in such acts).when we asked him why he did such a thing,he told us that whenever he is Hot and there is no girl around to satisfy him,he masturbate and that all guys knew the act and engage in it(note that by then we didn't know what sex really was though we watch porn)...After that experience,i started having the urge to engage in this act but at first not for pleasure but to see if i have develop sperms and see how mine looks like.so that is how i started masturbating.when i did it for the first time,i didn't see much semen but i was excited that i am now a man who can impeg. a woman...so my quest to see more semen pump out just as my friend ejaculation was made masturbation a pleasurable act and an addiction that am now suffering today...TO BE CONTINUE PLS...

I happen to be among the students who wrote jamb yesterday and before the exam, preparedness was my watchword.i was so prepared that i promise my uncle 300 including my father and mother to the extent that whenever i am sleeping in the afternoon and nite, i must dream of writing exam or been taught, i read very well that i became restless but unfortunate jamb with it inefficient technological system shattered my dreams.i got to my exam centre looking smart and confident,i even met some of my ex-classmate who encourage me that nothing(difficult) is there and i went into the exam and it was really easy.when i came out ,i was happy that i started doing charity but to my surprise, when i check my result, 177 was my score and now my educational sector has been destroyed.HELP...

Text: Matthew 16:13-15.
According to this section of the scripture.it entails Jesus Christ demanding to know what his followers and others think about him and their reply was some say John the baptist and others Elijah,Jeremiah or even a prophet.
Brethren,Do you know many still say,Jesus is:
A good teacher
A prophet
A rebellion
A myth
A wanderer who wander into india and maybe was crucify there
A poor right-fighter
An ordinary man like us.
This 21st century after his death about 2000 years ago.
But to me,The Lord deserves more than this and as for me and my family,HE IS OUR GOD AND SAVIOUR,THE ESTABLISHER OF PEACE,THE GOD OF LOVE...
But what do you say about Him?WHO IS HE TO YOUhuh.
