I am a Yoruba man, are you saying if tomorrow some deranged OPC members starts killing people in Ogun, Oyo and other SW states, then FG should also grant them amnesty? Why is Ndume being tried in secrete? Why did Sherif run back to PDP if not for protection from investigation. Gov. Amaechi said BH is shooting because someone is paying (for the firearms and logistics), why has there not been any high profile arrest. Why has there not been any arrest in CBN as Davis indicted a top CBN staff (even if it is Sanusi)? It is not rocket science, war is EXPENSIVE. So, just cutting the source of funds to a terrorist group, and in most cases such groups die a natural death over time. Why has there not been a high profile arrest - even if it means witch-hunting the opposition as long as gej security chieves are sure such persons are behind BH? Except you are telling me, there is no APC member funding BH.

So the only reason I can think of why some people are asking for amnesty is just because they know we have an inept government that cannot discharge its most basic function - security. Maybe there theory is: if you don't ask for amnesty, this carnage may probably continue and its the innocent ones that suffers. Imagine the situation of the parents of the Chibok girls.

Another question I have been asking and its good to know Cramejones has asked a similar question in his list of top 20 questions: 12. Why has the Federal government failed to win the war against an ill-trained army of not more than 10,000, despite having an army, airforce and navy numbering over 100,000 with fighter jets and high grade military hardware? Even when we have a south easterner as the COAS.

I am a Muslim, but there is no where in our religion where you are asked to marry girls off without their parents consent. There is no religion on this planet that I know of that asks you to kill innocent secondary school boys in there dormitories while sleeping. Shecow Shekau cannot stand in front of any muslim community and expect accolades.

This is why some of us will not ask for amnesty, but we ask for justice. Justice on those providing the funds - without which BH will be history. And also some form of economic empowerment. I am not talking about the type of celebrity status that the Niger Delta militants have been elevated to, but a general economic empowerment for the readily available recruits into BH foot soldiers. If a man knows he can make a decent living without comitting suicide by joining a war he is bound to lose, he certainly will think twice before enlisting to join BH.

Now that u have realized ur folly,let me put some things straight,I'm sure u have heard about the ban on brodcasting miracles in Churches on public TV which contradicts the provisions of section 10,did u hear anyone making a fuss about that,if the answer is no its because we have been taught by the bible to give to ceaser what belongs to ceaser so we christians always respect reasonable laws enacted by the government.

I have no idea what exactly the quaran says but from the little I have learnt I guess all the quaran wants is women covering their hair but why must it be in an hijab,can't this kids find some more subtle ways of covering their hair by using a beret or something,why must u do copy copy of the arabs by wearing hijab,the reason why this arab ladies wear hijabs is to keep dirt away from their hair because of the very many sandstorms which happen frequently in the arab countries and also the very high temperature and arid condition of this countries would would dry up even the best oiled hairs in no time,no wonder the arab men also have their own kinda hijab they wear,dunno what its called anyways.

Going by your analysis that Nigeria is a multi religious state,if the LASG must allow Zainab to go to school in her hijab,they should also allow Ifadayo to go to school with saki on his shoulders,sangodoyin must also be allowed to plait his hair and decorate it with cowries to school,odewale must also be allowed to go to school with his hunting cap,while eegunjobi must not be stopped from going to school in his masquerade garb and sarah should also be allowed in school in her white garment cap,while francis should also wear his jewish skull cap to school.

Do u think they would be any sanity in schools if the govt allows such request,we have more than 10 different religions in Nigeria,why must it be only muslims crying wolf of not allowing them incorporate their religious dressing into a school uniform,don't u think all other religions also have their mode of dressing which is their fundamental aspect of their lives.

Section 10 of the 1999 constitution of the federal republic of Nigeria states that the government of the federation or of a state shall not adopt any religion as state religion which in other words means Nigeria is a secular state, don't be shy to use the dictionary if the word secular happens to be your problem then u can relate the meaning of that to this topic and u would have done urself a favor of putting ur brain to good use for once in ur life.

The verdict still remains,if u have a problem with that catch the next available flight to perhaps Sudan where ur hijab cravings can be satisfied.

You can see the result, the discussion now is based on religion, is no longer to educate the people as you said, presentation of issue/matter is very important. As I said before, everybody is endowed and it is left for one to use his endowment to affect the society positively and not necessarily dragging religion into it. After all, that one invented something does not in away make him/her better Muslim or christian or even Hindu as the case may be.

I dont think inventions has anything to do with religion, but science. Arabs\Persians are pioneer in science and maths. But they have slept off, and may never catch up with modern science and technology.

Pastor Kun: Whilst it is true that the Arab world as contributed considerably to the modern world, I see no sense with these contributions/inventions being credited to Islam as the inventions have nothing to do with Islam in the first instance.
