Their dad, cheated like mad. He was also polygamous (nearly killed his loyal first wife to marry a 2nd wife). Then still had girlfriends outside. He died on top on one of the side chics.

Showing up all made up the way she did and leaving as soon as he was committed to the ground will indicate that her character is a possible reason why the husband looked outside in the first place.
I am not excusing the late husband's cheating. But whatever it is, he remains the father of her children and if she has nothing else to mourn for, that her kids will grow up without their father is reason enough.
Secondly, her actions indicate she is outrightly cutting ties with her husband's people. Possibly, that will be the last time they'll see her or the kids.
The way the husband died is shameful. The wife drawing attention to it by her actions, embarrasses her in-laws and her children. Of course there will be mourners at the burial who are not family and they will be wondering why the wife left. They will get to know the reason why and whatever positive memory they may have about the late husband, will vaporise.
