In Mark11 verse 14, Jesus spoke to the tree, saying, "let no man eat from you forever", and in verse 20 to 21, the tree had responded to the words of Jesus by "…Withering away" (Mark11:21).
Jesus demostrated this power when he spoke to an inanimate object, (the wind and waves), and commanded them to be still.
Jesus also spoke to a decaying corpse, (dead and buried lazarus) and he responded.

In Ezekiel 37, we see a situation where the prophet Ezekiel speaking to dry bones(a non living thing), and the bones responded.

Many people know how to tell friends, families about their problem, which is good because a problem shared is half solved. But in some cases, its not half solved but made more complicated when all those you've confided in can't help you or even made a mockery of your predicament.

There are other set of people who would cry and complain bitterly in prayers to God about what they are going thru. They are good at telling God about all the negativity the world had thrown at them(which is good), but will never tell their problems about the greatness of the power of their God.

Jesus admonished us to talk to our problems; he wants you to tell that trouble that it is too tiny a thing before God.

In Mark 11 verse 23, Jesus talked to a tree as if he was talking to a being with hearing and reasoning ability, thereby showing us an example on how to speak authoritatively to the issue of lack, sickness, poverty, failures, barreness etc harrasing us.
In that verse quoted above, the tree responded to Jesus. So also, the the troubles confronting you will respond to whatever you tell it. But it must be done in faith.
But unfortunately most people talk themselves into defeat, death or failure when going thru hard times. Confessions like, "this problem will kill me" or "i am finished" etc, brings defeat, failure or death.

Your problems will still respond to you if you speak negatively to it as would when you talk victory.

I urge you to quit brooding over that trouble, rise like a wounded lion, and declare to that trouble, and say loudly and violently, "it is not yet over with me, victory is certainly mine".

Organized religion is one of the major causes of the increase in crime rate .

Deeper Life is a major culprit. They encourage their workers to quit their jobs so that they can 'serve god' more. After doing this, they start living in poverty, become desperate and turn to crime.

I was born and bred deeper life. I know first-hand what goes on there. They are very hypocritical. They encourage their members to breed like rats.

How can you encourage jobless men to have 8 kids. I remember one member was arrested for stealing pigs to feed his large family. He was unemployed like the rest.

what of the brothers that were warned to quit their jobs because they missed workers meeting? The stupid one who complied are still looking for jobs today.

Don't let me start with deeper life today.

When relationship begins to move from healthy arguements, or mere quarrel into threats, people should learn that it has reached the point of temporal or permanent separation. Many people have gone thru mere 'threats'.

No man has failed until he thinks he had. Failure in my own opinion can be best described as falling down in the course of a marathon race of life which you are the only athlete. No competitor! No rival!! And so because you experienced some few falls would not have made you loose the championship
trophy since no man is competiting with you. You only loose the trophy when you refuse to continue in the race because of the temporal and few falls experienced.

*You have not failed because someone said you're a failure.

*You are not a failure because someone else thinks you are.

*And you have not also failed because you have nothing to show for all your years of toil.

* You simply have failed the moment you THINK,
Believe and SAID you have failed.

experienced many failures too. Many of
those we see as an epitome of success today
where "failures" yesterday. I said failures
because they had them in quantum but was

I strongly believe that failure is a state of the mind. Once your mind tells you that you are a failure and
you agree and stick to that frame of
thought, and also confess and act same, then you
have really failed.
I have failed over and over again in my life that i almost concluded that i was born a failure. I had
also gone ahead to nurse the erroneous thought that probably i was born to watch others succeed in life.
No man is born be a failure in life, or no man is made or destined a failure. No man is made a failure by circumstances. No man is born to watch others succeed in life. Infact those you watch succeed had also had their 'fair share of the experiences of failure.' The difference between you and them is that they refused to give up. When you refuse to give up on life inspite of the 'terrible experiences'
you've had, success would have no option than to smile on you.
Do you know that the world is filled with men and women who were total failures yesterday, worse than what you had experienced but today are
celebrities and captains of industry?

Many today, the world never gave them
a chance because of their background, but they fought their way to the top. Why do you think you can never make it again in life, what makes you think that the failures you've experienced for more than two decades can not be turned around to
success? I can tell you that the failures of today is a potential seed for success tomorrow.

Please don't give up on your dreams or your pursuit in life.

We experience failures when we make wrong decisions or poor choices in life. And not neccessarily because some witches from your village is after your success. When God is with you, no witch can come against you and succeed.


But you may fail when you refuse to continue
fighting. And to go further, i'd say, fight with the mind of a champion and not a looser. Pretend as if you've not encountered failure at all( after making corrections where neccessary).

Consciously think and talk like a champion always not minding the failures of the past.

Let no man or circumstance steal your joy at anytime.

Let no man talk you into believing you're a failure because you're never one.
Believe in your heart strongly and confess the same
that you are a success. In my local parlance it is said that "na condition make crayfish bend", meaning its the hot fire used in roasting the fish that makes it shrink. But i say, its not true. This same proverb has
been a common excuse of "failures." I always put the word failures in quote because they think they're failures when they really not. So going back to the
crayfish story, i say its not true that its the fire process that makes crayfish or the fish to bend because its not all the fish that went thru the fire that did shrink or bed, at least i have seen so many crayfish that didn't bend.

I discover one very common habit or trait about those who think they've failed, they have very good and convincing EXCUSES for their failures.
Failure start from the mind, Success too start from the mind.
Be wary of the thoughts you entertain. If they don't encourage the fighting spirit in you, discard them.

As you keep fighting your way to the top so keep
praying, commiting your ways to the lord as if it all depends on prayer.

You are a success already......

In 2013, Mrs Jane while celebrating the father's birthday at age 100 shared with a church congregation, tales on how the father used to tell them when they where kids, that he'll be so old such that people would be coming around to see a very old man just the way people visit the zoo. The man is still alive till date and very old.

A pastor shared a testimony of how his car broke down in the middle of a deserted road, at about 12am. His family was in the car with him. The wife was already panicking. When he realised it was a battery problem, he said to the wife, confidently and in faith, "someone would come here with a battery and help us out". Few minutes later, they saw a baba (elderly man) coming out from 'only God knows where' with a battery on his right shoulder and asked why they were stuck on the road at a dangerous time of the night. He helped start the car with his battery and left instantly! Another co-incindence?

In 2006, I had a friend, Niyi who would always say, he envied the dead coz they don't have any problem to worry about. Few years later, he started having nightmares of death. He would often see himself by the graveyard in the dream. He cried seriously to God in prayer for deliverance. He told me that he heard a whisper in his heart one day telling him to change his confessions of death to life if he really wants to experience old age. He repented of those negative talks about envying the dead and started speaking life. This is 4th year since the nightmares ceased.

The Holy bible declared in Proverbs 18:21, "death and Life is in the power of the tongue....". Our words have power in them; we can talk our lives into progress, prosperity or a good life or we can talk our selves into death, sickness, dangers or misfortune. The choice is yours.

Dreams can come from.God or the devil. Dreams from God comes to reveal things that would happen in the future or expose us to mystries that we dont know sbout ourselves or others. But dreams from God dont cause panic or fears. But devil brings nightmares to cause panic,.fears and confusions in someone's life and with the aim to wreck havoc if not stopped.
I would advise you make out time, write out the dreams u always had and then go thru them carefully; there might be some messages in there for you or something God is pointing out to you that you needed to correct in your life.

We will be exploring how our words determine our place in the realms of the supernatural.

Firstly, it is important to know that what we say is what we see and what we cannot say, we cannot see.
Moreover, what we say can completely devalue the revelation we receive from God and His Word. Thus, the signs we command are the products of our words. Remember, the Bible says: Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof (Proverbs 18:21; See also Mark 11:23).
Therefore, it is important to know that we command the supernatural by engaging our tongues effectively according to the terms of scriptures.
This is because what we declare is what God confirms.
Moreover, whatever is too big for our mouths is too big for our lives.
However, it is important to recognize that it is not just saying the words that make it work, but saying it boldly, openly and unashamedly (Mark 8:38; Psalms 119:46; Romans 1:16). The moment we stop saying what we want to see, we stop seeing it.

What are the virtues inherent in the words we
speak?

• The words of our mouths are creative after the order of Christ (Genesis 1:1- 31; Proverbs 18:21).

• The words we speak are prophetic: The problem is not the issue; what we say is what determines the happenings in our lives (Isaiah 14:24; Mark 11:23; 2 Peter 1:19).

• Our words are reproductive: Our words are spiritual seeds sown into our future. What we say today is what we will see tomorrow.
Again, we understand that God’s Words are seeds; thus, when we engage same, our future is guaranteed (Genesis 8:22; Luke 8:11; 1 Peter 1:23).
Therefore, the tongue is a mystery in our tongues. Last week, we examined the creative, prophetic and that we engage to be in command of signs.
The challenges of our lives are not the issue; it is our declarations that determine whether that situation remains a problem or a solution.
This is because God cannot do anything outside what we say.
Thus, we must be careful what we say because a misuse
of our tongues can lead to disuse of our lives (Psalms 81:10-15; Luke 21:15).
Therefore, by the power of your tongue, I decree your
long awaited miracles delivered in Jesus’ name!
