When u watch Mr president's declaration, u ll see the difference between a born winner and a wannabe craving attention. The oppositions were given a total knock out by the speech and declaration today. Having watched various declarations by the APC, all I can say is they have no agenda for Nigeria. They are only concerned about removing GEJ hence the constant mention of his name. Besides, am yet to see the president mention APC in any of his speeches. Does it mean he is so clueless that he doesn't know the party exist. |
Johnnyessence:Don't u ever put God and ur Islamic party in the same sentence. Its sacrilegious. |
We really plenty for this class o. Was almost thinking am a weirdo. Most of the time, the ladies often make relationship boring. I met this nice chic while at work, just wanted to always hangout with her when am not busy but she was thinking otherwise. After 3 hangouts she started asking why I haven't invited her to my place or I had a girlfriend I was hiding away from her. After her first visit to my place the whole friendship took a nose dive. Having been assured I was staying alone, she would always want to come to my place at the slightest opportunity. The romantic hangouts and conversations we once had that made me attracted to her are all gone. The whole relationship is becoming boring and I don't know how to even tell her that we should go back to the status quo without hurting her. |
Political e-warriors have been taking a lot of mathematics courses lately. My question is, what has APC done to mobilise votes from the grassroots. In a country as Nigeria, access to social media is only available to a very minute fraction of the electorates. As a middle class citizen, I can rant all I can on social networks and vote on e-polls but trust me d probability of me voting on election day is 1/2. 80% of those who will really not care about the long queues or weather conditions on election day don't have access to Internet connections. My question again is what has APC done to mobilise these voters at the grassroots. I have travelled to many states in Nigeria and believe me PDP has political structures in almost every states even in APC controlled states. Living in all these self imposed illusions and not face reality are the only reasons why some people will think elections was rigged when it doesn't goes their way come 2015. |
Laughing out loud at the way people analyse election results on social networks. The same way ekiti and anambra elections were permutated on the pages of nairaland. I Was about taking this post seriously until the Op referred to a 10milion vote margin as a marginal victory. We dey siddon here wait to see Hw buhari wan take unseat GEJ in 2015 that's if Tinubu doesn't sell the tickets to d highest bidder Atiku. You supporters of APC should always tell yourselves the truth at least once in a blue moon. Even a Buhari/Mandela ticket is dead on arrival, the name buhari puts the F in failure when it comes to politics in Nigeria. |
All this epistle for Ikimi? APC must b really pained.. |
overhypedsteve: so if Ghana wanted to rule Africa why didn't it donate 500,000 dollars to help support ebola efforts like Nigeria did. To even think the conference was held in accra: or was it waiting for obama to aid us. Nigeria is not claiming to rule westafrica it is only our leadership character that makes us distinct. Even nigerian elites and religious leaders are sending aids to Liberia. Were is Ghana. The leader of the free region of west Africa. Were is Ghana when Nigeria is building a city on the sea. Where is Ghana when nigerian scientist are building space satellites, where is Ghana when nigerian jets were bomberding extremist in Mali, where is Ghana when nigerian made gulma drones are being used by AMISOM. Where was Ghana when mandela was in jail, where was Ghana when Angola was in chains, where was Ghana? With all the world politics I know, I never knew the name of Ghana's president until now. No thanks to his irrelevance. |
I just reach work, make I arrange my office before I think of wetin to comment.. |
Is that all u could come up with op? Very dry.. Anyway make I still spread my mat wait for better ppl to come comment.. |
This is what u get when a religious bigot (Buhari), a renowned thief(Tinubu), power hungry(northern oligarchs),a drug addict(FFK), a rejected shit(Ameachi), a clown(okorocha), and a perpetual liar(lie muhammad) are put together in one place. |
omq! Don't you think saying all those things will be too verbose? Left to me,I understand one had to put his or her B.Sc Grade level as well, but going far as to include your Primary School, Sec school and even your grades will be too wordy-remember you have to make it short and simple, after all,They must have seen your profile already,so that will be inconsequential repeating everything there is on your Cv. The ones i would agree with you is one's achievements and correlating it with the position applied to fit in, which i will gladly tell, and also my strenghts and skills. Note: I had work with 'em here in PH as a E.O,Ad Hoc Staff( I must add, the job is tasking- workload no be moi-moi,I dey teyuuu) last year due to dearth of staff.so i know exactly what to tell them in that regards as per some professional terms i will tell 'em and job details in a very concise way, that i will. On the flipside, I have some interview videos on my laptop that i go through most times, and i was only trying to use their own style of answering the usual suspect "kindly tell us about yourself?" in just a min instead of 3mins timeline-It might be boring if i am to say everything there is to be said on my Cv bros- 'Don't you think so?'
Bro, the truth is a good and thorough interview shouldn't be less than 20-30min unless the job you are being interviewed for doesn't require a great degree of competence. Using 3-5mins to introduce yourself wouldn't be out of place because it gives the interviewer an overview of who you are and what you bring to the table. As regards the CV, the power of your Cv most of the time ends at the application stage where probably the Cv got you the interview or test invite. Inability to prove to the interviewer that you are the right person for the job may spell doom. I have been to interviews where i was still asked my class of degree and course of study despite it being highlighted boldly on my Cv. One of the myth of interviews is that the best qualified person gets the job. This isn't true, rather the person who performs best at the interview gets the job. The bottom line is to always see any question asked as an opportunity to highlight your strength. |
It's a pity no one wants to be associated with FFK.. Even the FFK aka scamjones dey deny him true identity. It must really suck to be FFK. |
Sagamite: You are a cretinous person! You Mr just showed that stupidity is a strong criteria for joining APC.. |
Testing the Mic! Testing the Mic!! Testing the Mic! Perhaps If we/or I was to be ask'd 'kindly Introduce yourself'-as usual, the very first line of question I will begin by saying, (This will be my second Interview out of four pending after today's own) Okay,Thank you for the question' First off, My names is Donald Genes From Akwa Ibom state(I heard from different quarters that we are not suppose to say where you are from while some said we should say) I graduated from University of Calabar, where i bagged a B.Sc Degree in Genetics and Biotechnology (Hons) Uhmm! And, I'm hoping to become one of your Examination Officer" God willing I am hardworking, very conscentious and also very flexible to any work assigned to me www.thatzall. Omq! Guys please rate me on a scale of 1-10, if i am good to go or i need to re-strategize
0/10..if it's a very reputable organisation and all you say about yourself is the above, then you have blew away what might be your only chance of convincing the interviewer that you are the right person for the job. Most people don't realize that the "tell us about yourself" question is usually what makes or Mar your interview. Creating the first impression goes a long way to determine how the interviewer would relate with you all through the interview. The best way to answer the question is to introduce yourself by your name as you rightly did, your date of birth, after that give a chronological account of your educational history starting from your primary school up to your university also including what u doing currently . Also highlight your achievements such as graduating with honours, making some nice grades in your ssce, beneficiary of a scholarship, your project work in school etc. Also try to give the interviewer a little bit of the skills you have acquired and how you have used such in solving real life challenges. There are no perfect answers to any interview question but the rule of thumb remains the same; always highlight your strength at the slightest opportunity and try to relate such with the present position you are being interviewed for. |
Donmams: Sorry ehn. All your propaganda against Buhari has failed. You were all trying to hoodwink the APC into thinking that Buhari was unelectable. The decision makers know that Buhari, who got 12 million votes and won the entire north in 2011 is not unelectable. Add the ten million south west votes to buhari's ten million and it will be a landslide victory in 2015. You can dash yourselves 100% in the SS and SE. It will be inconsequential.. |

I dey laugh o.. |
Sniper list of corrupt politicians who weren't allowed to loot the treasury. |
With the way the country is presently, all you need is to get a first degree. Gone are the days when you study a course and end up practising what you study. We now see engineers in bank and Bsc graduates with good degree resorting to teaching. Just pray God opens doors of opportunities for you when you graduate irrespective of the course you studying. Back then in school we used to feel proud about the course we were studying, but after leaving school we realised that in Nigeria, your course of study doesn't really matters. It boils down to God and the man know man factor. |
I don't see any problem with tecno Carlcare. I had a problem with my phone some months back and it was fixed immediately. I was surprised because the problem was actually my fault but they got it fixed for me without any hiccup. |
I'll rather take musiwa's nairaland posts serious than take that of this cocain deluded FFk. |
wolex200980: south south / south east e- goon are just shouting 4 nothing cos a local govt in lagos(alimosho) hv close to a million eligible voters why bayelsa hv 400 thousand voters.alimosho vote will over whelmingly cancel bayelsa voter.after 2015 election S S/ S E e-rat will cry blue black. And everyone in alimosho will vote for APC?? Dreaming is toll free. |
gidiMonsta: GEJ is no longer as popular as he was in 2011 in YorubaLand. No thanks to the mouth diarrhea of his Eastern supporters. The only way he can get that much vote is if APC presents Buhari (I love GMB but I feel his reputation is in tatters down south). Any other candidate like Tambuwal or Kwankwaso will give GEJ a run for his money. Alternatively, a young Christian Northerner backed by GMB and a Fashola as vice will floor GEJ at the polls.Mouth diarrhea propagated on nairaland and APC paid media. The last time I checked 80% of the electorates aren't on nairaland and don't even have access to those propaganda media. The status quo remains. GEJ would win massively in the south-west unless APC Presents a credible Yoruba candidate. The yorubas would prefer to sit at home than stand on the line to thumb print for a Buhari or Tambuwal. |
Thank you Mr President for sagamu-Benin express way. Actually spent just 3hrs travelling from lagos to Benin, a trip I spent an average of 5-6hrs some yrs back when going to school. Thank you Mr President for the privatization of the power sector. I still don't enjoy 24hrs of electricity yet, but am not too myopic to know that very soon power problem would be a thing of the past. Thanks for the SURE-P program. A very good friend of mine was a beneficiary of the YOUWIN initiative. He now runs a business enterprise in Uyo where he has created jobs for several persons. Above all I thank you for your electoral reform, we now have an active opposition a situation that wasn't possible before now. But you have to do more as regards corruption. No one should be a sacred cow irrespective of their tribal or religious background. Once again, thank you Mr President. |
jayseehe: Mediocre performance Mtcheew.U never see anything. Better hungry go kill all bad belle people this year. |

Nice initiative.. Keep up the good work. |
The funny thing is most of these girls forming busy and activity on BBM don't even have a functional email. Imagine a girl having over hundred friends on BBM, you'll need a secretary to help you reply all your chat. I didn't bother downloading it when it came on android cos my first experience with BBM folks wasn't appealing. I ll stick with WhatsApp any day, |
Demdem: Fool, becos u have a paymaster doesnt mean we all do. Jonathan cocck sucker, ur end is nearOloshi!! Keep dangling from the nuts for Tinubu.. |
destino24: Which one are you talking about? B. Tech or HNDWow, never knew there was another "Engineer in society" book. I studied one in 200 level but the book we used was written by one of our lecturer, an Indian. Dr B.M. Ria. My Uniben guys would know what am talking about. A very nice and insightful book, gave a thorough understanding of engineering practice in Nigeria. I'll also try to lay my hands on the one you mentioned in order to compare and contrast. |
