Nissan Micra, Sunny and Primera. Definietley not Altima. No person in his right senses would use an Altima for cab except maybe Uber or Taxify.
Very accurate.

Why would you blame Nissan for the bad maintenance culture of your neighbors?

Except you can give detailed maintenance history of your neighbors, pls don't come here with hearsays.
Since 1990,there has always been a Nissan in our personal house.from pathfinder maxima,Altima and now another pathfinder, there has been no regrets.

I can't say anything about the Honda accord as I haven't personally owned one,but I would restrain myself from telling the op what some of my neighbors who own the accord have told me about it.
God bless you sir. Some pple literally forget they need to check engine oil over a certain period but no as long as the car moves they are good.

The day it stopped then the car is bad. That small sound from your engine needs urgent attention nothing is small nothing.

Please run away from Nissan Altima. Car you will use for 1week and 3 other weeks it will be with mechanic.
Says who??

Most of those bad mouthing Nissan Altima actually doesn't use it or never used one.

I have used 2 Nissan Altima in total and presently it is my current car and I car say that the car is good.

Pls don't mind all this comment, come to some part of this country like Ondo State. 90% of carb drivers used a Nissan car.

Yet Mechanic rush to bad mouth it.

I still don't understand. If the car was that bad tell me why more than 90% taxi driver in a state will keep getting Nissan.

PoliticsRe: Nigeria Spends N10trn On Petrol Subsidy by samintegrity(m): 10:01am On Apr 02, 2019
tactius:
Have been following this subsidy thing since 1993, and intially, I was a supporter of subsides. Until 2012...when GEJ came along with his plan

If you remember , there were a series of adverts which explained what GEJ was trying to do with subsidy removal. Those adverts, as well as my own personal research, convinced me that removing subsidy was a good idea (and mind you I was and still am a PDP opponent. Did not make me support APC either...especially when Tam David-West came up with is riddiculous N40 per liter suggestion...).

Since 2012, I have been a supporter of subsidy removal.

Buhari? He did partially right when he increased prices from N87 to N145. (at a time when we were importing fuel at N132 per liter.). But even I knew that the subsidy was still there because...Buhari was still setting the price...and because what he did is something that Nigerian leaders have been doing since the 1970's....when subsidy becomes unsustainable...raise the price, take off pressure...till it becomes unsustainable again.

And true...when landing costs went up to N150...AND KEPT going up....the subsidy reappeared (wow...dejavu).

Government pays subsides because Nigerians don't want to pay higher for fuel. See how Nigerians portested GEJ's price raise, despite all the explaining? See how Nigerians complain about Bubu's partial removal too? Under a situation of true subsidy removal..there would be a revolt.

So we keep on paying subsidy because politicians prefer power to sensible decisions.
God bless your wisdom sir.

tactius:
To all those who complain about fuel subsidies and how Buhari is paying a scam.

If Buhari had stopped paying subsidies, and had stopped controlling the price of fuel and had allowed marketers to set prices.

Fuel would be selling at 220 and above by now.

And you people would be calling the government anti people.

But the truth is, subsidizing fuel needs to stop. The 10trillion we have spent since 2006 could have been used for other things.
You people should stop all this hypocrisy.

How many of you reasoned and said the same during Goodluck regime??

Most people trying to justify Buhari payment of subsidy came all out to condemn Goodluck for this same reason. ..

Truly we've all seems to lost our senses.

listen to yourself: a naval officer is by implication a policeman! Stop excusing your stupidity!
I don't have the nerve to argue with you. Who said the naval officer is a police officer?? Like seriously you need to kindly read through my post again.

I explicitly wrote that both men are members of the Nigeria force, so you mean only the police is referred to as a force of a nation? Oh.. Pls am out. Thank you for your time.

only one policeman, not two!
I said both men, in other words, I was referring to both the police officer and the naval officer.

Moreso, they are both an officer in the Nigeria force, so in case you intend to reply.
