TMA 3: EXTENSION GIST AND CLOSURE OF GST


This is to inform you that GST TMA 1-3 has closed today, 3rd July, 2021. According to the message from DLCMS in an e-email chat with a student, GST TMA suppose to have closed few days ago.


In addition, TMA 3 for departmental courses (like BIO, ECO, ESM, CSS etc) has been extended again for four (4) days and the countdown is shown in the picture above or on nouonline.net. This is another opportunity for you to crosscheck your TMA 3 and be validly sure it has been submitted completely.

Admission is always on at NOUN.

You can get your admission letter anytime at NOUN. But registration for semester, courses and exams have limited time.

Next session/semester commences immediately after the on-going academic session (2021_1) which is August.

Following the brief system glitch of 22 June 2021 some students had a mixup in their personalised question environment. Affected students have been advised to send the affected course codes and the matric number to any of the following numbers USING WhatsApp ONLY: 08033145223, 08178670862, and 08034262732. Many have already done so and had their issues cleared so they can take the correct TMAs. It has however, been observed that some few students took the wrong TMAs, for one reason or another, without seeking for corrections. All such TMAs have been invalidated and have to be taken again. Three additional days have been added to help all submit their TMA3!

GST courses are scheduled to begin between 7:30am,12:30pm and 3:30pm

While departmental courses are scheduled to begin either by 8am,11am and 2pm.

A lot of students got this twisted last semester and missed exams.

Ensure you arrive at the study centre at least 30mins before the time of exams to avoid missing papers.

If you have two papers at same time, you are advice to do one course first, submit and then login and begin the second course immediately.

So in today's article, we shall learn how to activate your matric number for GST sign in. Please follow these steps carefully:


1. Click this link https://elearn.nouedu2.net/login/index.php

2. Enter your matric number in the FIRST box (''NOU'' must be in small letters like this ''nou'')

3. Enter your matric number in the SECOND box (''NOU'' must be in small letters like this ''nou'')

4. Click Log in

You would be asked to change your old password (i.e matric number) to a new/preferred password after a successful login

5. Change password to a new one

6. Click Submit and that's all!


In the next article, we will look at how to check or confirm your GST TMA scores by yourself.
