A student’s file should contain :
1. Admission letter
2. Filled application form
3. Your RRR and all payment receipts
4. All academic certificates (WAEC/NECO, and any other result stated on form).
5. Birth certificate or Declaration of Age
6. Marriage certificate (for married females whose names have changed)

Additionally, ensure you printout and bind your seminar writeup. The recommended font style to use is Times New Roman and font spacing is 1.5 or 2.0. Your abstract should summarize the content of the seminar and must not be lengthy. Similarly, recommendation and references should not be ignored at the end.


Also, students in other study centres (especially those in Lagos) should hasten up their seminar writing because they would be called to come to the study centre for presentation anytime soon. Prepare to excel, not to fail!

REMINDER ON SCIENCE PRACTICALS


Kindly be reminded that practical class for science students in 100 and 200 level starts today, 9th March, 2021 by 9:00 am.


Note that, attending the practical class is compulsory for all students irrespective of your location, department or study centre.


For instance, students from other states can also join them in doing the practical taking place in Lagos Study Center because other centers don't have the facilities to conduct practicals.


Additionally, let's take a look at the requirements for the practical class;

1. Laboratory coat
2. Science practice book
3. Graph book
4. Mathematical set
5. Nose mask


Keep your mobile phone away from your table or pocket while working with chemicals in the laboratory to avoid explosion. Chemistry students should be very careful because you would be working with some of the chemicals that are used in making explosives although your facilitator will guide you on the precautions and guidelines to follow.


Finally, when you are in the laboratory, do not perform experiment when you don't have the practical knowledge of what to do. Ask the lab attendant relevant questions when you are unsure of what (next) to do. Don't forget to turn off flaming equipment like the bunsen burner, cooker, etc.


Practical is compulsory for all science students because some of questions will come out in exam from what you would be taught in the laboratory so make sure you take notes. Be there!

IMPORTANT UPDATE ON SCIENCE PRACTICALS FOR 2021_1

I hereby inform you that BIO191, BIO192, PHY191, PHY192, CHM191, CHM192 practical classes commences from Tuesday, 9th March 9:00am at the Lagos Study Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.


Please note that, practical exercise is compulsory for all 100 and 200 level students both first and second semesters.


In addition, it is advisable to attend this practical classes even if you are yet to register your courses and exams for this semester but will be registering them as soon as possible because 15 marks has been reportedly added to the marks of students that attend the practical.


Do not forget to share this message widely in other social platforms to notify other students.
