Dara2:FOLLOW THIS STEPS⬇⬇⬇ STEPS FOR YOUR NYSC EXCLUSION LETTER PROCESSING STEP 1: https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/VerifySenateLists.aspx STEP 2: Once you fill your details and submit, scroll down and you will see your information there. You will also see something like "Your record has been uploaded successfully. You can Register" which is in red color. This shows that your name is on their list and so you can proceed to the next stage. STEP 3: Logon to portal.nysc.org.ng and then click on "Mobilization Batch A" or the year range written under it. Select Fresh Registration STEP 4: Fill the required information. (It is better to use a GMail account for this... and ensure the email is valid and accessible by you). Click on Continue. You will get a notification which indicates that your email address has been saved and a confirmation has been sent to your email. STEP 5: Check your email and open the received message and click on the blue link in the message. It will then take you to the NYSC portal to continue with the registration process. STEP 6: Fill the form. While doing so, ignore the "JAMB Reg. Number" and also, select "Part Time" because that is what NOUN is still identified as, with the NYSC. After submitting, it will take you back to the home page. STEP 7: Click on Login.. On the resulting page, insert your email address and the password you created during your registration. And then submit it. This will now take you to the stage of biometrics (where your finger print is captured). STEP 8: If you do not have a biometric (fingerprint) scanner, pls visit a nearby cyber cafe where they do JAMB, WAEC or NYSC registration. Capture your finger print and move ono to the next stage. When all these are completed, you will then be required to pay a sum of N3,000 via remita (remita charges will also be added). Once payment is confirmed, you will now be able to gain access to the exclusion letter (which I advise you to print Colored and not black and white). https://nou.edu.ng/article/nysc-exclusion-letter-registration-procedure

NOUN TO HOLD VIRTUAL MATRICULATION FOR FRESH STUDENTS ON JUNE 13 PRESS RELEASE NOUN to conduct virtual matriculation for new students National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has concluded arrangements to conduct online matriculation ceremony for its new students on Saturday, June 13, 2020. It would be one of the first times in history a Nigerian university is conducting such virtual ceremony. A press release signed by the NOUN director of media and publicity, Mr. Ibrahim Sheme, stated that the development was due to the ongoing lockdown of the Nigerian education system because of the global Covid-19 pandemic. Sheme explained that during the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Abdalla Uba Adamu, would deliver his address, followed by administering of oath of the 19th matriculation on the students by the Registrar, Mr. Felix Idoka, both from remote locations without the students being physically present. The statement added that the virtual event would be beamed live through the Zoom application. It therefore advised the students to download the Zoom application to enable themselves participate from home or any other location, adding that the application password would be communicated to them soon. Meanwhile, the university has withdrawn its earlier announcement that students could collect academic gowns from their various study centres for the matriculation ceremony, saying it was issued in error. A statement from the registrar's office noted that it would be quite impossible to conduct an exercise of that nature physically due to the lockdown. It revealed that the centre directors have been told not to open any study centre or allow a gathering of students "until the ban on all tertiary institutions is lifted" by the federal government.
