North and Igbos have been voting and helping each other Since 1960..

In fact it's safe to say, Northern and Easterners destroyed this country.

North --- through Government
East --- through aligning with North to vote them in.

Igbos voted for Atiku because you have always voted for Fulanis since the inception of Nigeria.

—In the infant stage of Nigeria, Igbos formed a government with the Balewa government at the detriment of the other south.

—1979, Igbos formed a government with Shagari even when Awolowo was on the ballot- did the Yorubas scream betrayal?

—1983, Igbos voted Shagari again against Awolowo and even Ojukwu campaigned openly for Shagari - Yorubas just forge on

—1993, Igbos voted majorly for Tofa against a fellow southerner MKO- the Yorubas don’t scream betrayal

—1999, Igbos voted for OBJ (favored mostly by the North) and neglected Falae the Yoruba choice

—Yoruba only voted the Northerner in 2015 and Igbos started crying over the media of betrayal. What betrayal? Is it not a democracy anymore?

Is it only southern unity when the Igbos dictate the terms? Where is the acclaimed southern unity since 1960?

Igbos are the greatest hypocrites in Nigeria. I have always told the Yorubas on here never to succumb to your pity tactics.

Yes, it's Omoluabis. If not Omoluabis, it will be Omo Ibo, or Omo Calabar, or Omo Kanuri, or Omo Fulani, or Omo Itshekiri, or Omo Igala, or Omo Ijaw, or Omo Kalahari.

Nigerians are great people who are unfortunately lead by useless leaders.

I'm not gonna answer you again.
Nigeria don't export palm oil again.
Before, yes but now, no.

You gave me chart of how Nigeria was 5th world oil producer but fail to include that nigeria imported palm oil worth of 500 million dollars a year preceding the yr that research was released which is 2016.

I don't do small kids argument.
Have a nice day.
You should have said that b4.
You made it seems as if we didn't export palm oil at all..

Anyways, couldn't find it in the Exchange Market, you might be right.

I'm talking about export that boasts foreign exchange. Nigeria don't export palm oil.
So revisiting that palm plantation is waste of money if the palm fruit proceeds from it can't be exported. That's what I mean.

You guys can continue with shedding each other, that's none of my biz.

The types of beans we have in nigeria is the best yet we cant export them. Is it garri, yam, millet or corn.
We export nothing as far as agriculture is concerned compared to the rest of the world. Look at groundnut.
Everybody want to start ghost project once they came to power just to siphon money.
You can say we export nothing as far as agriculture is concerned compare to the rest of the world
BUT
Don't say we don't export palm oil at all.

The stats below is of 2009.

The second is of 2017

I'm very sure you're still drinking imported Bournvita in your village.
Ondo Has more than 10 industries turning Cocoa into, Cocoa butter, powder, chocolate, Bournvita etc.

Olam Coop Cocoa Factory,
Plantation Industries Limited
Centre for Cocoa Development Initiative
Stanmark Cocoa Processing Company Ltd

We also have
Oluji Pure Cocoa Powder
Oda Single Estate Chocolate Bars.
Sunshine Chocolate Factory,Alade Idanre
Can't remember all.

Seed development is the most important not the people to farm

Seeds is what Nigeria lack to be comparatively advantaged in many agro products
To me, it's farm.
Seed is easier to get than Farm to cultivate (Subsistence farming)

U don't know what u are talking about.
Ghana is presently making money from oil palm export all over the world where's Nigeria has oil palm more than Ghana.
This below is palm fruit concentrate made in Ghana. Can imo reproduce this?
All Nigerians in diaspora use this to make their native foods and they are as good as the palm concentrates we make in our kitchens.

The problem of Nigeria is the politicians.
The oyibos downplayed and totally condemned palm oil with such flimsy excuses like deforestation and health benefits but recently even one of their most popular health Dr has started canvassing for it.
The question is?
Can your politicians key into this?
Can they think above the immediate gain?
Lol, the palm oil we've been using in Nigeria are made in Nigeria nah.

We also export palm oil, but we've concentrate too much on Oil.

The guy, you quote lives in a hut, doesn't know what is going on in Nigeria

Thank you for continuing where emeka stopped

But I think soil science and crop science of imsu ...need to be given a mandate ...we need them to develop improved specie ...even if we don't plant them in government farms ...we can sale it to our people at the cost price ....imagine planting 10 million trees across imo state every year for 8 years ...that's 80 million trees that can produce 10,000 worth of palm oil per year at minimum
That's 800 billion worth of palm oil added to our gdp ....tax 15% out of that and that's 120bn per year

We need the same for ube fruit , udara ...we need good species ..not planting them and waiting for luck to make them sweet ....

This alone can add 3 to 5. Billion dollars to our gdp

Not to talk of plantain and banana ...we can formalize this sectors ...and get great revenue from them
You should encourage the Ibo guys to go into more Palm oil plantation, everything cannot be government..

It will even generate more income for your guys.

Or just because we have had incompetent leaders in the zuu, exporting more palm oil might mean empowerment of Ibos grin

Shonekan had lobbied for debt cancellation but, after the election annulment, most of the Western powers had imposed economic sanctions on Nigeria. Inflation was uncontrollable and most non-oil foreign investment disappeared. The government also initiated an audit of the accounts of NNPC, the oil giant, an organisation that had many operational inefficiencies.
