Please read between the lines fellow nairalanders. Appointment of Sole Administrators is not what we should be applauding. He should set up a time line for LG elections and give LG full autonomy so the can be held accountable by the people. These appointments are just windows dressing. I want to believe that these appointments are only temporary. |
House of Cards playing out in NASS ... let the games begin. |
If true... he is not a bad choice at all. Olumide is a fine Officer and a Gentleman who is extremely qualified for the position regardless of his Step Father's status in society. Congrats DSP Raheem. PS OP Northumbria Uni is in UK not US. |
Ishilove:A lot. Although bad breath from gastrointestinal disorder is rear, it has been reported among the symptoms related to H.Pylori infection which is the main pathogenic factor of inflammatory and ulcerative changes in the gastric mucosa. if this situation is causing him stress, it doesn't harm to him to eliminate all the possibilities, H.pylori manifests in people differently. Visit a Dentist, if symptoms persists see a gastroenterologist. Also OP consider a reduction in consumption of processed foods, alcohol and smoking. eat more vegetables and fruits. |
SSBN:Go and see a gastroenterologist (Stomach Doctor), request for a urea breath test or a biopsy of your stomach to confirm if you have H.Pylori bacteria residing in your stomach. if you are positive for H.Pylori the doctor can prescribe what medicine you require to eliminate the H.Pylori bacteria. This bacteria is very stubborn and would require a mixture of strong antibiotics to eventually get rid of them. No amount of brushing or flossing can eliminate H.Pylori as it resides in the stomach and digestive tract . wish you all the best. |
chat2deen:That's an expansion joint used to relieve stress on building materials especially concrete. All large concrete structures have some form of expansion or movement joint that allow the structures to move slightly under pressure instead of breaking or cracking. I would be worried if it didn't have an expansion joint across the bridge. |
Bollinger:In this life you cannot please everyone. she pleases a lot of people who can relate to her and these people are of a larger number than those printing shirts. when I said assets I meant a wife who can drum up support from this demographic. for the record I am not in support of either party, they are both cut from the same cloth. 2015 is a foregone conclusion... na 2019 my mind dey |
Adekorya:She is neither Michelle Obama nor Simone Gbagbo, she is Patience Jonathan, a woman who uses all her ability and power to support her husband no matter what. A woman who isn't moved by her own shortcomings in spoken English. A woman who is not intimidated by people who claim to be intellectuals because they speak 'big grammar'. A woman who uses what she has to support her husband through thick and thin. if our Nigerian wives could support their husbands through thick and thin like Patience has been showing over the years, The average Nigerian man would feel like he can move mountains. Like it or not she has warmed her way into the hearts of a lot of women who like her are not polished or lack western etiquette. She has given them the believe that if they support their man they too can achieve relative success. She appeals to this group of Nigerian's who constitute a larger demographic than Nigerian's online population. She is an asset I wish APC had, it would have made for an interesting contest to see APC's version of Patience Jonathan. |
guthy:Based on 38 votes !!!! Nigerians are more intelligent than this na. Online Polls bear no semblance to what actually will happen on the day. Let not push falsehood in our quest for change or transformation especially when they both mean and represent the same thing either in policies, ideas and personal interests. |
cramjones:I think you the joke is lost on you Sir. Jay Jay wasn't talking about Language, he was talking about accent. Jay Jay speaks 3 European Languages Fluently and 1 not so much, albeit with a thick Igbo accent. That's 4 different languages apart from Igbo. Once you get to a certain age , no matter how long you stay abroad your accent will always be the same. Any body that moves abroad after 17 years and learnt how to speak English in Naija would always have a naija accent unless they are faking. |
Our internal waterways need to be properly policed. it would be very easy for the robbers to escape from Lekki Phase 1 if they came by boat. Once robbers get wind that you can attack and retreat with ease via the lagoons and creeks, Areas like Lekki Phase 1 and Banana Island would be their constant target. |
I so wish this were true, but looking at the photos, I couldn't see a single trace of blood or torn limbs on the dead. How were they killed? Where they gassed or poisoned or did the sound of the explosions scatter their internal organs ![]() Which ever was I pray that the BH menace is at its end |
We are busy screaming GEJ this, Buhari that !!! when the real people we should be castigating are our so called lawmakers. They are the reason we are where we are now. If there were not a bunch of rogues and nonentities they would have stood up to the Executive and we would not be where we are today. Imagine if you went to work for only 78 days in a year... you go still get job ??.if you check everything that goes on within the Government today, you will find out that there is always one honourable or senator or LGA chairman slowing the down the process of development because either e never see something chop inside or the one wey dem offer am no do Please lets take our LGA, State House of Assembly, House of Reps and Senate votes very seriously because these are the levels that would prove if our country will ever return to greatness. Also we all should start pushing for a reduction of the allowances received by these lawmakers in line with the current economic hardship and drop in crude oil prices. Everyone from bottom to top must feel the pinch and that also includes our President (Current or Future) |
