Why would any sane mind compare Nigeria and Canada at this point in time? Canada never had it so bad like we are having as a nation. Can you tell me when a party like pdp ever existed in Canada? You now know why we can't take off in Nigeria like the new PM is doing.

The problems and issues in Nigeria are multi faceted. This write up picks up on how the youths are constantly being short changed in the government. The Harper government was voted out because it became unpopular and some of its policies failed to move the country forward.

I totally agree that PDP failed in its duty to Nigeria but I believe that the only difference between both parties is PMB who is currently fighting an unhill battle because he is forced to work with the same set of people that also contributed to the rot in the first place.


With that in mind the change we require may not be the change we get hence my clamour for the youth to wake up and stop glorifying people who don't really have your interest at heart.

If there is to be any semblance of real change young dynamic and vibrant people should be given a chance to show what they can do.

I watched the swearing in of the New Canadian PM and almost shed tears because it showed how we have totally misconstrued the Change Mantra .

Justin Trudeau's slogan during his campaign was real change and immediately he was sworn in the change was clear to see. His ministers were sworn in immediately after him and their portfolios was announced during the swearing ceremony.

His cabinet is made up of 50% women. Some of these women will hold high profile portfolios like the Justice Minister. He also didn't use and dump the youths as 3 of his ministers are in their 30's with one of them being a 30 year old daughter of Afgan refugees.

Justin Trudeau's first bill to be introduced to parliament is to cut taxes to the middle class. These few things show that there is some real change coming to Canada.

Coming back to our dear Nigeria, our politicians used the youths as bait to gather support but dumped us like used tissue paper after the elections results was announced. Some of these youths are still licking their wounds on both sides APC & PDP alike.
PDP youths are chasing PDP for monies owned and promises broken while APC youths calls dey enter voicemail.


I seriously think that its high time that the X generation take the bull by the horn, pick a leader from our own generation who truly represents our cause and also understand the speed at which we expect things to be done.

With all the antics and 'house of cards' moves that have been playing out between the legislature and the executive in the past 5 months while our economy continues its downward spiral to oblivion, it is clear to the blind and audible to the deaf that our current and past leaders clearly do not have the interest of the youth and the future of our great nation at heart.

Poor design and cheap construction is really killing Nigeria. With the kind of soil structure, you would expect to see a lot of suspended roads and bridges at erosion pinch points.

Not sure there are up to 3 suspension bridges in the south east

A serious erosion plan for the south east needs to be drafted . Don't know if south east government have such a plan . Na so so reactive plans or where dem fit chop inside dem dey look for.

If you do a quick research, you will find that a Russian plane crashes at least once every year. So anyone could have foretold that there would be one this year.

If he had pin pointed the location and time the crash would happen then this would have been more believable.

There is a difference between a normal citizen travelling to a Country for Work or Leisure and the President of a Country travelling for a STATE visit. If you cannot comprehend this then Presidential Protocol is not your forte.

My guy you are missing the point. I am neither a PDP Apologist or an APC brownnoser.I have said in previous posts that they are both cut from the same cloth.

I believe that our President regardless of who he is must be afforded some sort of diplomatic etiquette when out of our shores.

These pictures do not represent that. Even if it was an African leaders summit, a country like India is more than capable to provide a better reception than what we see in these pictures.

Yes we expect that. If the airport doesn't have a presidential wing then a car should pick him up from the tarmac and take him straight out of the airport. How come they is no Indian in the picture or were they not expecting the President?? Where is the welcoming party? Or is it not a State visit?

Although it's a normal occurrence in large modern airports. I am not sure when Obama and Cameron visited India they were shuttled with these disabled /old persons carts

Normally the Presidential wing of an Airport would be designed in such a way that august visitors would not need to ride this to get about.

I want to believe this airport does not have a VIP wing hence the use of these carts.

Let's look at some effects of Aregbesola not paying bills and salaries as and when due.

People would have lost out potential investments , businesses would loose credibility, people wont be able to pay rent,marriages would have crumbled due to lack of fund causing women to become runs girls and men to become jigolos. Correct babes would have become olosho, broke ass young men would have become 19 boys or yansh men. People needing serious medical operations would have past on for lack of funds
