Danielnino00: I'm quite optimistic about the project .and I hope it won't stop there.. We need a rail network to connect the whole country.. Lagos -Ibadan is a start... Yes.. Already we have abyja-kaduna,warri-itakpe, Lagos-Abeokuta-ibadan...now we need Lagos connecting kana via Abujaand also Lagos- Calabar which will pass through all south eastern state and south-southern state..then we are good to go... |

Danielnino00: Such a lame excuse...
There are people living in your northern region but you feel it's no big deal to sideline them from the scheme of things, right?
It could be deliberate of course,so your northern region will keep getting foreign aid that your politicians can stash away in foreign accounts... Or they are too poor and broke to build a road... |

Danielnino00: In your haste to bash Abuja, you are forgetting one thing.. the city is still new... Barely 40 years old . And considering it's huge landmass,it would take several years before it would be fully economically developed.. Cities like Lagos,Accra,Abidjan, etc have been existing for over a century now... Nah if Nigeria's economy gets by on it fit expect to see Abuja change...most especially in more real estate boom...investor are watching from the other side if the river but their interest here is still very much alive.. |

Seen a lot of Kenyan videos and it's either their trousers are gay type THIN or just too big. Why are those guys trousers popping out like that? I think most Kenyans are ga.y.. it's very evident here.. You will be surprised at the kind of dirty, disgusting seductive words they tell me here...They are about three of them here... |

Just30: so I even went above 122km By Charitably saying they were constructing 200km of roads.

Just one road construction in the Volta Region alone is more than what the entire kenya is constructing. Pathetic... This road discussion continues tomorrow..atleast my report is from Kenya road board in which Kenya, kera and any other subsidiary road council fall under.. |

kevomtaani: Haahahahah I don't know Abuja right.... Abuja is so boring that you will find half the city on jabi lake and silverbird on Saturdays. On Sunday morning and Friday afternoon to night the whole city is dead Abuja has nice roads and that's about it. What has the boredom gat to do with the development.... If you want liveliness then you come to Lagos or go to anyother cities if Abuja doesn't cut it for you.. |

vankelvin: Don't waste your time on some of these Nigerian's, They mistake ''City planning'' for development.. What Abuja has is proper planning, in any case, how big is Abuja City proper,? not the land size? In this 21st Century, you just pick any information on the internet to buttress your point, like how? Go on Youtube where some Nigerian bloggers claiming Abuja is the 2nd Most developed and beautiful Citiy in Africa? Only in SA, Johannesburg, Cape-Town, Durban, Pretoria, which of these Cities can you compare Abuja to? Talk-less the number of cities in North Africa, Luanda, Nairobi, Dar Es Sallam, Addis Ababa,?
So I'm always not surprised when they claim Abuja is developed than Lagos, Dakar, Abidjan and Accra. Its not surprising at all. Me I am not mistaken it for city planning..Abuja is a jewel.. |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by samorobo: 11:30pm On Jun 04, 2020 |
kevomtaani: It is common sense that a country that has had tourism before independence and a country that has been more stable and has a national airline will obviously achieve success in Tourism. Kenya, Tanzania and Zimbabwe and now the new boys Rwanda are ahead of all west African cities and countries when it comes to tourism. Er don't have to chest beat about this or use emotions this are just facts. I do however acknowledge Ghana's effort in tourism marketing they have made significant strides but saying Ghana receives more visitors than the countries listed above? even you know this is a lie This is just funny cos I am not the one saying it but WTTC(world travel and tourism council) .Not until three years ago Kenya has always been placed above us by thesame reputable, globally recognised organisation..Kenya's tourism industry has been declining tremendously pre-covid19... I am guessing you do not know that they are various kinds of tourism..e.g business tourism, sport tourism,Health tourism, leisure tourism, Entertainment tourism,Eco tourism...Nigeria thrives very well in sport, entertainment, business tourism, cultural tourism than Kenya does..if you are talking leisure tourism yes I know they are undeniably ahead of us...but when you summarised the whole thing up and check out the total generated revenue then kenya becomes a child's play.. I am guessing you don't know the amount of shows alone in Lagos that pulls visitors from all corners of the earth.. Do you know how many movie awards shows, fashion shows, music shows, music awards show, fashion awards show, lagos carnival,Lagos boat regatta, that pull visitors annually... Let's not even get to December which is the craziest..you would literally see Lagos govt sponsoring shows for the youths that fetches them visitor....example would the One Africa fest...do you know it is sponsored by Lagos govt..and do you know how many Africans visit Lagos just for that show anually...heck what of those music concert that spring up around that time..Don't you know they all have the backing of the govt.. And then you come to the grandest of all which is Calabar festival which brings competitors all over the world and have them compete for a full month... What of cultural festival like those ones they do in osun(vaxx should know more about this one. I am not too familiar with the name)... Below was a Kenyan news quoting WTTC..they said this not me and even if you doubt just go to WTTC website to confirm what that Kenyan newspaper said...

vankelvin: HMMMM Why do Nigerians like showing Roads, Street lights, Fountain and roundabout whenever there is comparison between cities? By the way, do you guys sleep on your roads? so why don't you show us the City proper? Every country has streets,street-lights, roundabout and fountains so please show us the City. Roads is the foundation of a city as well as the backbone or urbanisation... We can show you beautiful buildings but if the roads are trash then the city or town is trash....I promise to feed you with Enugu videos since you asked... |

Shma: kenha only performs the work allocated to it and that is kenya highway, the same for other authorities. All the data will now be processed by kenya road board and hence will come up with the total km of paved roads ranging form rural, national parks to urban roads and highway authority Good we finally agree on something.... Less than six per cent of Kenyan roads are tarmacked, with only 4,300 of the total 12,950km of paved roads in good condition, statistics by the Kenya Roads Board has shown. At least 6,212km of tarmacked roads are classified as being in a fair condition, with 2,429km classified as poor. A total of 122km are currently under construction. |

Austine1212: depopulation?
You should also think of which one is cheaper hiring a room or traveling every day... Depopulation not rather say rate of migration "may" decrease
Depopulation happens mostly in countries with an aging population like tokyo
In all estimates not a single one directed in lagos depopulation
I Think we use the word "city" loosely where we should be saying "town" I have pen down my reply to Daniel about what i was Implying..I hope you see it... |

Oh pls stop lying..we all have access to the internet and that equally grants us unlimited access to information online..this report is from Kenya road board..All other subsidiary road board like Kenya, kera are under them... rvp2018: We cannot justify at our level of development building roads in the semi-arid and arid north. The majority of Kenyans are near a paved road. You have to understand how Kenya settlement looks like.
We also have places occupied by animals - Tsavo national park for example occupies anything 200kms square of land. Shut your ass with your stupid excuses..those are your failures, don't defend but work on it . |
