rvp20182: We have Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, thika, Nyeri, etc. . Yes our urbanization is around 30% - which is expected at our level of development. Nigeria you have 50% urbanization- and you cities look really crappy.
How do you define crappy loudmouth..here is what crappy is... Mombasa
rvp20182: We have other cities and towns in Kenya. Mombasa definitely bigger than Abuja. For 200m people - I don't see any development - but widespread poverty.
rvp20182: Sounds like Nonsense. Kenya capital city was Mombasa then Machakos then finally Nairobi. That is useles history. The fact is there 1B dollar railway rotting away in Abuja while Lagosian are living in their cars for five days just to avoid daily commute - and those that dare spend 6-8hrs on the road.
Invest in Lagos and you'll get somewhere.
Abuja is waste of time and money
Ignoring the rest of your envious drivel...was it the move of the capital status away from mombassa that made it deteriorate to this level..
Troy404: Thats why its called a cosmetic city. They built a light rail not for passengers but for taking pictures, if they were serious they'd built it somewhere in lagos where the transport system is overwhelmed.
You are crying out of serious jealousy..just tell Kenyatta to build you one.....while you are crying Abuja light rail has it phase 2 already and his aiming phase 3....
rvp20182: There are such kind of areas in every developing world cities but in Nigeria - it the norm - rather than exception. I know when confronted with Nairobi world class buildings and roads - the next is to fish slums and likes.
If you were a normal human being obaboon - you'd challenge the best of Nairobi with best of Lagos.
Slums with Slums.
Why is it then a normal.in Mombasa instead of an exception....
obaaderemi: @ bolded. the rvp boy was the first to admit Nairobi's cbd roads are bad. But he put the blame on Nigerians who constructed some of the roads.
Anyway, well-done. You have really butchered these little Indians. Just don't go to Kenya.
True...they are ready to murder me if I ever step foot on that national slum territory
rvp20182: Precisely. It gov bureaucracy and nothing more. The billions invested there - could make sense if it was divested to Lagos - and Lagos would look like 20M city. Not a slumpolis like Kinshasa. Lagos - people prefer to live on their cars during the week - and only go home for the weekend. The traffic jams are horrendous.
What would you call this mombassa? Wouldn't a slumpolis suffice for it?
Troy404: Abuja is a dead city like buhari thats why the light rail transported one passenger in a day.
Stop being g irrationally envious and hate..just pray to get to Abuja's level.. At least Abuja looks better than mombassa CBD..your second best and developed city...this video says alot about your level of infastructural development..
rvp20182: And why do you have crazy traffic. You see slowpoke - if you are a city of 20M people - then clearly the roads will never be enough - and before you got there - you should have built TOKYO like infrastructure.
Nairobi is 4m city - and we are doing badly - but not as badly as you.
Marine traffic - tell that to KaziKazi - and engage in such nonsense.
Tell us about subways, metros - at least do something 10% of Tokyo mass transit.
The long and short of it all is that Lagos experience traffic but never as much as nairozoo...we have our diversified transport to thank..atleast it has eased it.... There is always an additional 1,000 bet buses every to existing ones in Lagos with additional bus terminals, bus stations built...I hope you are aware..
rvp20182: Nairobi traffic is not as bad as Samrobo Lagos - where people sleep in their cars for five days. Nobody on earth has as bad commute as Lagos. On average Lagosian is on the road by 4am - and will be back home at 10pm. If he prepares dinner from 10pm - he probably sleep midnight - wakes up 3am - and to prepare for the long commute!!
And then add electricity blackout - and the heat of Lagos. The poverty and the hustle. Lagosians are super-human the most stressed of any human being.
Yes traffic is good indicator of economic activity - but also a failure of mass transportation - buses, trams, subways, metros. Nairobi has commuter rail that carries 15,000 passengers - but needs an overall to be able to carry 1m passengers daily.
As for West Africa - where do we start? Maybe remove the Okadas and 3-wheelers first. At least in Nairobi the 14 seaters were long banned - new registration not allowed - and we are transitioning to buses and mini-buses.
I pity you with your empty chest beating...Lagos has more diversified transport system than anything in Kenya ranging from modern bet with dedicated to marine transport, rails, to a large expansive road network cut avross streets to highways, and soon a cable car..nairozoo on the other hand has about 2,500jm -3,000km of paved road out of the national 10,000km..so yes traffic is bound to happen with crazy Matatu choas in the air...
For instance upperhill is dropping in potential property investment solely because of the crazy traffic in that axis.. property buyers are avoiding that zone like a plague.. imagine leaving your house in upperhill to go get groceries in town and you end up spending 5 hours in the roads of upperhill before you get to your house..yes that's how crazy it is..

I just want to know your thought that all..for you to say it's a town there must be some reason... Heck I am not a Rwandan So I have no problem if have something to say about them..
vaxx: I think he can be proud of traffic in some way but not a nuisance one of Nairobi without coordinated plan. In some way traffic jams is a good trend for development. It is from their goverment will plan building high ways. Large roundabout and multiple road lane. Just like in the big cities of China, there is always traffic jam despite high development but not a nauseating one .
But every country experience traffic jam, I want to know what is so special about Nairobi's own that he would post it and be prooud of it.
vaxx: not exactly true , traffic demonstrate economic development and progress. Show me any advanced country in the world without a serious traffic . It is controlled anyway.
The main point is this.is traffic a thing to brag about?
rvp20182: Since 2016 - you've been posting renders - as response to kenya real images. We are going into 2021 - and those renders are still renders. That is 5yrs.
When you talk of infrastructure - start with ELECTRICITY - and fix it.
You are blowing hot air with silly lies...show me a renders from 2016 you weasel...
Btw,no kenyan can talk to me on power, you've been exposed for the fraud you are..
Austine1213: Power lines hanging on streets of a city?
Yes that is the true state of upperhill and Westland..reason why I am shocked when they talk of modernity...I once told rvp the same thing about the shiity upperhill..
rvp20182: Nigerian can only compete with Kenya if they post renders of wet dreams...the reality in the poverty capital is too stark to be posted
You are a fvcking joke...din't speak to me about infastructure..Kenya is beneath nigeria in that... Look for your playmate Uganda,Rwanda and co to do that with...
