DZTech: lol since you don't know that calling a man a woman beater is an insult, then you're clearly not intelligent enough for an- intelligent conversation.
and I wonder how gist went from not taking verbal abuse from a woman- or anyone, really- to beating her... truly- what kind of mind do you have?!
meanwhile, I expect your mum talks to your dad in the same way Athena does her ex. and he stammers, stutters and apologies to her, just like the good, wimpy doctor does.
and all I can say is - that's a-ok! what fun. sometimes I wonder, must every guy or man be and alpha male. You guys make it seems like a man not being one is a failure. what about guys who just want to be understanding, compassionate to females. Look at their attitude and try to understand where and what's happening to them? 1 Like |

FreeStuffsNG: Since you still can not carefully read my post to find the parts in my first post that enlighten you on Lagos state-linked companies and why we Lagosians are for ever appreciative of Asiwaju Tinubu's outstanding Legacies in Lagos, please go to bed and rest sir.
No matter how you throw your insults at me, I will not drag down Asiwaju Tinubu to the mediocre public service level of Mr Obi.
Mr Soludo's expose on him is enough to enlighten you on how mediocre Mr Obi was as a Governor. Good morning. Yes Asiwaju was a better governor compare to obi, but that was when Asiwaju was young and healthy, not his sickly and old self right now. Nigeria need someone who can govern and make sure all his policies are implented fully. Take buhari as case study, if he was capable and healthy would a stupid cabal from somewhere hijack his government? The answer is No. Track records are good for judgement and everything, but the vision and energy obi has right now is what Nigeria need, not a old and unhealthy man.
My counsel to serving Governors, serve well. |

We say 'please' because we don't know the current state of mind of the next person in this country. ILovebigyansh: It's amazing how the markets can play on one's psychology
A strategy that does well, then all of a sudden starts to get the losses. Then your resilience comes in, you relax apply stricter Sharpie ratio go through the losing phase like a champ. Later on you bounce back but due to the uncertainty nature of the markets there's this doubt in your mind if this "once profitable" strategy is still worth sticking with.
Would it be better if every strategy had a half-life? Say you plan to use trend following for 3 months & then you change to something else for the next 3 months & going on. I'm having this feeling profitability might be more if we traded specific strategies over a specific period of time.
Risk management & Patience
Risk management, or hurdle rate as my people in the hedge funds call it is the holy grail, basically the risk management used on a big account cannot be ideal for a small account. But the risk used on a small account can be adjusted to suit a big account. All things being equal.
Patience is one virtue that requires patience to learn. Sometimes it can be hard to hold losses & also to hold profit. I guess both patience & Risk management is how we deal with the uncertainties in this financial space.
Bull markets come & go, Bear Markets come & go, but the steady players make it through both.
At the end, Trading or investing is a very long marathon.
As we close for the financial year Dec y/y , I wish everyone more wins. See as volatility Just drop this year end sef. well said! |

infofirst: And the one that summed it all and surprised me the more below Some takeaways from our trading data:
Over 60% of traders in our database do not use a stop loss and have a high risk of ruin
The traders who have made it to their 4th pay cycle all have a risk management strategy of below 3% risk on any given day
The profitable traders are in the market less than 4 hours per day
The most profitable traders do not hold traders overnight
A trader who holds trades over the weekend has a 60% high chance of failing or losing their account
When the market is more volatile more traders fail because of a lack of risk management discipline
If volatility is prolonged, it is a blood bath of epic proportions
There are 5 traders who are on their 8th payout on evaluation live accounts.
All of them trade conservatively and make sure they get paid. None of them risk more than 2% per trading day and they stop when they have reached 4-8% in profit until pay cycle has ended
All traders who received record payouts have lost their accounts within 3 weeks of the record payout due to excessive risk.
There are many, many more fun facts about the traders in our database and as we grow, more of those facts are coming to light.
Our advice is to take it easy when you reach live, many people seem to be unable to control their greed emotion.
Make sure you get paid and keep your risk as low as possible. After all, it’s a marathon not a sprint.
Happy trading everyone! this is eye opening! |
