OP I don't agree with those who say they are similar, in fact I get annoyed when people confuse them ( on par with defence and defense IYAM). Anyway as already stated below: The traditional distinction between the verbs enquire and inquire is that enquire is to be used for general senses of ‘ ask ’, while inquire is reserved for uses meaning ‘make a formal investigation’. |
MikeBetty: Haba, even recent history seems to be a daunting challenge for you people. OBJ won every state in the SW in 2003, likewise did PDP (however they weren't able to rig Lagos). The core north full heartedly voted for Buhari in 2003. He has never lost in the core north and probably never will. Oh and OBJ is a typical core Yorubaman and nothing else, it is just that you people have never been "sophisticated" enough to understand his covert brand of ethnicism. |
seejay80s:Hey Ceejay, which one of the arena people did you buy this fa n from. I really enjoyed the last blue and white fan till it died. |
@ bobo65 please give me the price for the oukitel u22 in naira. And how fast can you get it here? Also in black colour. |
battleaxe:Does it actually drop as low as 23ish immediately power is gone or is it like 25ish? If the former, then what bigrovar said is probably the case. |
Not the same at all. Similar colours and symbol but that's it. |
@OP read this, I found it far richer and analytical than most views on here https://bible.org/article/what-head-covering-1-cor-112-16-and-does-it-apply-us-today I do however salute you for challenging the traditional view on this in this part of the world. |
WeShallSee:Don't mind them, they have now conveniently forgotten that his wife is their sister. Even if it was Chioma, the letter clearly states for all those who can read that the NJC is "recommending" the person, not the other way round. |
Is there any proof that the man above is a Yoruba man, let alone a full Yoruba Man (not halfkey) or any info on the wife? Or is there a rule that everyone who attends a cultural event must be of that culture? |
ikp120:Oga, dis one no be Nene your hometown crush of yesteryears.... na bonafide oyinbo oga madam wey in her youthful days could and still can pay the school fees of everyone in your villa, na independent sissy oyinbo de call this kind ting oooo... abeg difference de between Shakira and Sekiratu! |
ZaraGift:Mumu, so Abeokuta where Abdulrasak claims Saraki is from has now turned to Fulani Land ...... you people sef, I wonder how your Biafran educational system will turn out! |
ojobekehinde:Let them be decieving themselves...... they know the answer but it pains them Shettima 1 Markafi 0 |
Let them be decieving themselves...... they know the answer but it pains them Shettima 1 Markafi 0 |
sammirano:A landlord has no right to request for your BVN or are they now being governed by CBN?? |
lucky999:lol @ OP ..... there should be no risk. However call your bank's customer care and seek further advice. Also monitor all your bank accounts closely and call your original mobile phone line (the BVN line) periodically to ensure it is not cloned. |
dtruseeker:Bro seems you got a great deal! What condition is the battery in and does the seller have more? |
A lot of the so called meanings are plain rubbish. |
OP stop trying to be mischievous and just call her his wife, which she is. |
Maduawuchukwu:ToMAYto.......toMAHto.... if you can't see the hypocrisy in calling breaking the "Northern Yoke" patriotic and getting angry with Buhari's because he is prioritising Northern issues.... then we will be at this for a while. As for GEJ and derivation, my point (made in my first post) remains it is a red herring. What the real people in his region want is to feel development and it is not the absence of money that is depriving them of this, but the greed and wastefulness of their ruling elite which he is well aware of. |
luvinhubby:It seems you are the one struggling to comprehend. True fiscal federalism as you put it will involve resource control (and derivation) as the theory is each state should have full control on taxing economic activity the way they deem fit and remit part to the FG instead of the way it is where the FG remits to them. Anyway he clearly talks about the fact that Wike would not have achieved what he did without derivation and I 100% agree with him as it seems only Lagos can develop without handouts from the sea. |
Maduawuchukwu:I understand where you are coming from but what you don't realise was that OBJ, despite being roundly rejected by us in the West addressed our most poignant issue early in his first term, by crippling the ability of the North to rule us against our will using their favourite tool, the Army. This was no mean feat and is the single most important reason Yorubas supported him enmasse in 2004. He restructured the Nigerian power landscape and his original backers only realised it when it was too late to stop him! The reason why I am pointing this out to you is to show that sometimes being motivated by sectional goals can actually be something that enriches all of us (Yoruba, Ijaw, Igbo etc) and being motivated by nothing (i.e. GEJ) can be a far worse alternative. I put it to you that regional resource control would actually help the 5 other regions of Nigeria more in the long run because they would all be forced to sit up and face life the way it actually is. I mean would Northerners self inflict so much harm on their region if they knew their was no oil money to rebuild it? Would they allow Fulani herdsmen to destroy farms if they knew these crops will finance their budgets? Would we Yoruba continue with states like Ekiti that are not viable? A president of the North that wants to kill Boko haram, bring back chibok girls and fight corruption is fine with me for now as long as he allows my Lagos to keep developing at its pace. Eventually if his onesideness is not addressed, I will move on to the next local champion that will give me what I believe is important for my region and hopefully my country to move on. |
luvinhubby:Kindly post where the 2014 confab reached the conclusion that derivation formula must change or apologize to the poster you were arguing with. Some people sef, if Jona tell them their mother and father are not their parents, they will accept. |
Pavarottii:What bold step? So by simply discussing a matter, one takes a bold step? Ok, I have decided I will one day knock Mayweather out..... abi I have taken my bold step!! A reminder to you revisionist, his failure of a national conference agreed to leave derivation the way they met it, but they did leave it to him to take an actual bold step if he wanted it changed: Derivation: Confab stands on 13%, pushes increase to JonathanI don't think I need to go on about what the bold step should have been. He had almost a year to make sure he left a legacy for his kith and kin. Pavarottii:Why should he? What was wrong with Jonathan's hand? Or did the people in the North tell you derivation was one of the reasons they were screaming Sai Buhari? If I recollect, their problems were Boko Haram and recovering from the self inflicted havoc in their region. In my opinion Buhari has addressed this in 2 years far better than Jonathan addressed any of his kinsmen issues. Let's call a spade a spade and never use the word "bold" and "Jonathan" in the same sentence. |
This man's and his followers stupidity knows no bounds. I mean how can it be now that he has left the centre that he knows it is important for fiscal federalism?? Did this son of the creeks not know that the kinsmen he appointed to NDDC were doing nothing? Or is he saying they wanted to work but he gave them no money to work ?? Or did he need the northerners permission to sack his own kinsmen?? I never knew this useless ExPresident and Arsene Wenger have so much in common- when it is to late they shift goalposts and blame everyone for their failures except themselves!! Don't worry GEJ, fiscally liberated Wike will come and tar the road leading to your village for you... don't go and beg that small boy Dickson who you installed and is now doing big boy for you. Mumu. |
TPAND:Only fools will think that the result above is not credible. Again the Northerners, Middle Belt and South West continue to show that there is hope for this country when it comes to democracy. The SS will get there soon and we will continue to pray for them to be delivered from their "bad gang" |
@ OP So he did all those marvellous things yet his own people still ensured he ended up like that last picture ehh!! We thank God that his execution is widely available on YouTube or you revisionist will be saying you saw Obama holding the knife with Israeli agents behind him!! Anyway, I say this to you, the ANGER I saw from the LIBYANS beating and torturing him was REAL; which kind of reminded me of the JUBILATION and SHEER ECSTACY I saw displayed in Lagos when a certain DICTATOR, died in 1997. It did not and still does not matter to us that Abacha kept the Naira stable at N40 =$1 for 5 years under the lowest oil prices; we still thank Baba God for delivering us from the psychopath, and no revisionism will ever change that. Input it to you that you will soon see another outpouring of celebration again in the continent when that old shameless he-goat named Mugabe bites the dust..... you can then bring up a new post on how he single handedly won independence for them and bla bla bla...NONSENSE !!!!!! |
Omofunaab2:On point. |
Well done. |
lol....... my people sef lol |
GeneralOjukwu:Utter rubbish!!! Samuel Peters remains a proud Nigerian please don't insult him with belittling tags. |
pneme:Let's calm down with all these Nigeria disowned him comments...... the truth is yes he is British born and yes Britain as a country has contributed to his success far more than Nigeria has.... but he has at least 75℅ Nigerian blood running in him and more importantly he is 100% proud of that fact. Like a true African child, he always praises his family for all the support they gave him and even points to the fact that the tough love and a short stint in boarding school in Nigeria really shaped him. So being Nigerian is a very important part of him (look at his arm) and his display of rare humility in his trade, a trait so culturally admired and treasured by we his kinsmen, can only make us identify with him more. Finishing it off with an oyinbo saying "If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck.......it must be a duck!" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/boxing/article-4358756/Anthony-Joshua-believes-Nigerian-boarding-school-helped.html |
vedaxcool:It seems the OP is bent on ending the popular Senator Shehu Sani's political career. |
