Here is my story..... I did my masters degree in UK some years ago&i graduated successfully.came back to nigeria and picked up a job.
I started aplying for this care jobs since last year 2022.
I had my first,second, and third interview invite.
3rd interview had stage 1 and final stage.
Offer letter and contract letter came April 19th
COS came MAY 17th
Biometrics june 1st
17th june brp mail
20th june passport recieved.

I know many of us are using indeed and care homes to apply. Apart NHS website which is for England and Wales, you can check NHS Scotland website for Scotland, hscni website for northern Ireland and also check isle of Man for work.

Let me just be frank with , recruiting carer from nigeria is getting more and more difficult by the days cos employer will naturally prefer to recruit from those within uk before looking abroad .
Even those are in uk are not getting the job on the platter of gold anymore like before as employer are now even asking for 1-2 years uk experience .You will be surprised that alot of nigerian that just arive in uk are not even getting the carer job like before
So advice I will give people in nigeria is to look for other pathway so that u won't be wasting your time, carer pathway is as good as over.

I guess you are applying from Nigeria. I don't think getting a job in the UK should be this hard.

If it's from outside the UK, naturally many companies will consider people in the UK first for any job before undertaking to sponsor someone from Nigeria. Also, there are probably also a lot of people making from outside the country also.

It usually reflects instantly but there are cases it reflects after 2-3days. Did you receive a payment confirmation in your mail?

Maybe VO felt it’s impossible for your UNCLE to spend over 80% of the money in his account for your studies. Maybe you should add your brother as a co-sponsor in your next interview just like you said earlier and hope for the best.

I just got a mail from the embassy. They attached a firm that requires my info, including bio data, work experience, addresses lived jn the last 15 years, social media handles, email addresses and phone numbers used in the last five yrs, and also names and date of birth fo all my siblings.

For a reason I don't know, I was not able to download my ds-160 form after completion. Immediately I ckecked to download, I was logged out, and when I logged in, I couldn't access it again. I had the options (till date) of downloading only the confirmation page ( I don't know if anyone has experienced such).

My issue now is, particularly in work experience, my dates where not accurate. The only two jobs I filled in are my undergraduate trainee and an online freelance editing jobs, of which there was no official termination. Hmece, I just chose random dates. Now, bcus I can't access my ds-160 form, I can't remember the exact dates I filled in. Could this have gracious implications? I'm just confused. Please help if you can

No need to panick. You can retrieve 90% of the info you filled in your already submitted ds-160 even if you failed to take notes of all what you filled.

Just go to the site and click on retrieve application. After you’ve done that by filling your confirmation code and answering the questions asked. You will be shown two options which are ‘view confirmation page and create a new application ‘.

Click on ‘create a new application and you will be given a new confirmation code. Note that this new confirmation code won’t affect your previously submitted confirmation code so far you don’t submit the new one you are given.

After you’ve been given a new confirmation code and about to start filling your application, 90% of the details you filled in the old confirmation code will already be in the new code you’re given, just keep clicking on next till you get to the part you need your information from. And do not submit this new code when you get what you need, I do t know if it will affect your old code but it’s better you just exit after you’ve gotten what you need

You were very close to getting this visa. I hope you know the USA embassy uses 420/$. Was that the rate you used that made it 2M above your cost of attendance

Go back to previous 10 pages you'll find what you're looking for.

Summary; select any appointment date you find available. After that, you'll see the "Emergency request" bar click on it, and state your emergency ; compose a compelling message and attach your i20 together with your Sevis receipt. Make sure you include your program start date in the message. Ideally it's should be approved if your PSD is within 60 days, also if you haven't been denied within the past 2 months (although this is subjective).

There’s nothing wrong with this transcript, I think the vo already made up his mind to deny you the moment you said you haven’t travelled out of the country before. It seems the vo’s in Abuja now take that travel history very serious now. You can reapply and hope for the best.

You could have just deferred you admission to spring 2022 which resumes on January 2022 and will request for an EA 60days to your school start date. Even without requesting for the EA, dates will come up for you to reschedule, dates in Nov/Dec has been popping up once in a while since last month.

So even if your school sends you the fall 2022 I-20 today, you still won’t meet the 120days rule since fall semester resumes on August. It means you will have to reschedule to April upwards
