In my compound, we are 5 sharing the prepaid meter. We uses to contribute 5k per person to recharged it when it finishes. So since last week we have been contributing because the units were low and the meter was making noise. By Monday this week it went off around 10 pm. And only one man hasn't paid yet. And he wasn't around that night.

He sent me a WhatsApp message around 11 after he was contacted by the guy that does the recharge reminding him that he's the only person that have not pay. He told me that I should pay for him that he didn't deposit the sales he made into his account that when he comes the following morning he would give me cash.

I transferred the 5k to the guy and we recharged. Do you know that when this man come back the next morning he did as if nothing happens between us, the whole of Tuesday he didn't even tell me anything. Today is Wednesday I was outside when he come he just pass me and enter his house. am just holding myself because if I enter his house I will damage something. why is Nigerians like this. why do we like to cheat people at any given chance. Does he know if the 5k is my last card.

I won't entire put the blame on teachers tho, this parents of this days don't really have time for their kids, this parents leave as early as 5am n returns around 10pm sometimes 11pm de don't monitor their kids. education does not end in d 4 walls of the classroom, it goes beyond that.
teachers in the secondary and primary schools are among the poorest, the salary is nothing to write home about, even if there's passion for the job, the pay is unable to settle the bills. this kids pay more attention to social media also. I suggest a state of emergency in the Nigerian educational sector. this is terrible

The Sokoto State Police Command has launched an
investigation into the killing of a butcher, Usman
Buda, by extremist Muslims over an alleged
blasphemous comment against an Islamic prophet.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the butcher made the
comment during an argument with another trader
around 8am on Sunday at the Sokoto Main Abattoir.
Angered by his comment, an angry mob descended
on him, beat him till he became unconscious and
fled the scene.
The police, who stormed the scene, in a bid to
rescue the victim, rushed him to the Usmanu
Danfodiyo Teaching Hospital Sokoto where he died
during treatment.
Reacting to the development, the state Police
Public Relations Officer, ASP Ahmad Rufa’i, said
efforts were on to arrest the fleeing suspects.
He said, “A distress call was received around
09.20am that one Usman Buda of the Gwandu Local
Government Area, a butcher at the Sokoto Abattoir,
allegedly blasphemed the Holy Prophet Muhammad
(SAW). As a result, he was mobbed and attacked.
“Upon receiving the information, the Commissioner
of Police, Area Commander Metro and Divisional
Police Officer, Kwanni, led a team of policemen and
all other operational commanders to the scene.
“On arrival, the mob escaped the scene and left the
victim unconscious where he was rescued and
taken to the Usmanu Danfodiyo Teaching Hospital
Sokoto for treatment and was later confirmed dead.
Meanwhile, an investigation is on to arrest the
perpetrators.”
