Health › Re: Why This Brouhaha Over Ebola by Samunique(m): 10:03am On Aug 08, 2014
God bless u OP! I think wat kills most now is not ebola but the fear of ebola.
Imagine how someone who's just having malaria symptoms will feel now bcs of this ebola buhaha?

The real danger now is not even the ebola bcs ebola will go, believe it or not ebola will not last, but the fear, feelings and stigma attached to it are more deadly than ebola itself.
For instance, an African man can go on with malaria in his body for weeks without bordering himself and then get it treated with little medical effort and get well. But this might not be case anymore bcs of ebola fear, infact some people might even die ( God forbids) of ordinary fever that their immune system would have ordinarily taken care of just bcs of fear "it might be ebola".

What we need to do is not to panic but to take nesseccesery precautions and be prayerful while we seek a permanent medical solution to the problem.

rigarmortis: Some ppl here are praising cameroon, implying that nigeria is faring worse in all aspects...this is worse.

The economy, security, living standards, everything is not upto nigerias, before you praise them, dig deeper.

The woman could have been ransomed, it could be another group and not boko, it could be staged, the fact that the woman could be kidnapped in her home says a lot about their security...

Another thing is that kidnappers find it hard to keep a low profile after a high profile kidnap like this.....remember obasanjos daughter and jonathans uncle and the rest...all rescued.....

Ur short fingers are not ur problem.

1. Relax

2. Be flexible

3. Start running ur scale slowly with accurate finger's positioning from 4th string maybe from F major key.

Christianity Etc › Re: Nigeria Christian Population by Samunique(m): 8:27pm On Jul 20, 2014
I don't know the purpose of census without taking religious statistic.
I know some people are afraid so that their lies of self acclaimed majority will not be exposed.

If they claim muslims are the majority in Nigeria let them prove it statistically not by mouth.

I know if a well organized census is conducted in Nigeria and religious statistic is taken without manipulations, the fowl yash go open and they will meet face to face with the reality they fear most and they will hear the fact they do not want to hear. Hope that will not lead to genocide, cause that may be the reason the government is avoiding religious statistic in census considering the fact that some people will rather die than for them to hear, " that they are not the most populous when it comes to religion in naija ".
Christianity Etc › Re: Nigerian Population Is 50% Muslim, 40% Christian, Whats The Other 10%? Atheist? by Samunique(m): 7:37pm On Jul 20, 2014
AbuZola3: proudly a muslim
My brother don't be proud, that statistic is completely wrong.

Have u considered the huge Christian population in the north?

Check these middle beltan states like: Plateu, Benue, Nassarawa, Niger, Adamawa even some places like Kaduna south etc, in fact, don't be deceived, there is a huge Christian population in every nothern state, not to talk of the middle belts who have Christian majority. Unlike the south that only have muslim's population down the Swest, the rest of the south are almost 99percent Christians ( SS & SE ) and remember that the SW is almost the home of Christianity in Africa, cause that's where we have some of the largest churches and congregations in the world.

So if u consider all these, u will realise that this statistic is very wrong, some of us have know this for long, that's why u will see that the northerners are not always comfortable with census, they will always look for way to manipulate it so they can portray Nigeria as a muslim's country, that's a very big lie.

Why do u think they want to systematically reduce Christian population in the north?

Pls wake up don't deceive yourself, muslims are not more than Christians in Nigeria!!!!

I'm not surprised!
They are only acting the script that was written before them, and following the footsteps of their grandmaster.

I know some of their brothers will soon come and hypocritically denounce them but inwardly the spirit of brotherhood in them is rejoicing that the work is progressing and the infidels are receiving the just reward prescribed by the holy book for their disbelief.

It is only a fool that will not by now, understand the spirit that is at work, bringing deaths, pains and sorrows to hundreds on daily basis.

If not in maidugiri it will be Yobe, if not Yobe it is Yemen, if not Yemen, Syria, if not Syria, Iran, if not Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, The list is just endless, and someone will still tell me that he is yet to understand the very ONE behind this religion?

If the foundation is faulty what can the righteous do ?

By their fruit u shall know them.

A good tree can not bring forth bad fruits neither can an evil tree bring forth good fruits.

U cannot expect orange fruits from a bitter leave tree, it is impossible.
SO DON'T EXPECT THE SEED OF THE WICKED ONE TO BRING PEACE AND HARMONY TO THE MANKIND, IT'S NOT IN THERE DICTIONARY, THEY DON'T UNDERSAND THE LANGUAGE EVEN THOUGH THEY CLAIM TO BE OF THE RELIGION OF PEACE, it only means the opposite.

When i saw their brothers in a particular thread a few hours ago rejoicing concerning a Belgian woman who converted 1000 Belgians to Islam, the question i and many asked was, can this happen in an Islamic country? But as usual, they will always ignore the question or turn it to e-war.

So Isis has just answered our question.

Sallychizzl3: I've been going through your comments and I come to one conclusion, 'here is a man trying so hard to paint Islam black'
For starters, am a Muslim. If you are really sincere about understanding without sentiment the seemingly 'weird' or 'horrific' tales or stories you hear about Islam, pick up the translated source(Qur'an) of those 'horrific practices' and scrutinize it. Going about with hearsay and half-baked truth is the worst venom eating us in this society of ours. Many of us, with little knowledge of our own religion will join in the mockery of other faiths, it's pathetic in this age.

God, Allah, Jehovah, is all powerful and all-wise. HE can make us all faithful of a single religion if HE so wishes, why fight for GOD in a distasteful way?

Preach your religion to others in peaceful way and don't go outta your way to stir enmity between different believers.

BH kills majorly muslims, do you still believe they are muslims?
Have you related with Muslim in real life or try to read up about Islam?

Let's stop all these religious bigotry and think about the solution to the problem in our country, collectively
#peace.

I think it's u that need to check ur heart (if u are not a bigot) and try to control ur emotions!!!!

Empiree: How i wish i could bow to your request, to edit my post, i was definitely not accusing all Christians. I know pretty much there are good Christians. I understand your frustration being christian but i am sure you wont deny the fact that many Christians today are spiritually blind. As you can see from those replies above from Christians they proved exactly my point.

I was definitely not discriminating against anyone. I believe it's important to put people in check sometimes like Op
Yes it's important to put the people in check, but it's ought to be done without being religiously emotional as it appeared in your post.

I'm not defending Christians, what i meant was, u shouldn't have made such statements as " churches barely teach people to refrain themselves from unlawful sex. I think such statement was completely unguarded. U don't use such words just bcs you want to correct people perceived to be Christians.

Having said this, i know u are a man of understanding, pls don't allow all these bad eggs to control ur emotion.
Though we all have that problem including myself, may the Lord help us all.

THANKS.
Christianity Etc › Re: My Sincere View On Muslims by Samunique(m): 10:33am On Jul 14, 2014
Empiree: @ donroxy, perfectly worded. Op isn't that smart. You can see that about 30 ppl already viewed his post. They have heard and read this stupid things over again so they are bored commenting on it.

I am sorry to interject this way, most Nigerian Christians dance to media's tunes all the time. Their IQ's are extremely weak. Their spiritual intuitive is wrecked. I just like ignoring them anytime they speak pooooo. They only believe in what they see(material reality).

There are two ways to see things: External and internal perspectives.
Those fellas who dance to media's tunes, believe in all media gibberish, are cattles (spiritually blind people). And it doesn't matter if they are professors, PhD or degree holders or pastors. Same goes to some non-religious affiliates with low IQ.

So Op's perceptive for example, is that western sunshine, beautiful highrise buildings and so on are signs of progress. They are "one eye" people. They don't believe in anything beyond material reality. But people with internal intuitive i:e "internal eye", eye of the heart(the ability to be able to think), their thinking capacity encompass that of OP and the likes.
Their solution is they need to refrain from having unlawful sex. This is barely taught in churches these days. Once they choose part of zina (adultery, fornication), it destroys their spiritual enigma. Even Muslims are not perfect but we always remind ourselves everyday, every week (Friday prayer) about refraining from unlawful activities. Let's leave it here now. Let him continue his rant.
I thought u should have done better than the OP.
U started so well ( though insultive ) but along the line u allowed ur religious bigotry to deal u a big blow which automatically relegates u lower than the OP and those u claimed their IQ was very low.

I could u say Christians barely teach people in their churches these days to refrain from the path of Zina, unlawful sex ( adultery, fornication ) which conciquenially destroys their spiritual enigma, why u muslims on the other hand ( though not perfect ) remind urselves every day, every week to refrain urselves from unlawful activities.

* how did know the churches are not teaching their followers ( Christians ) to refrain from unlawful sex, activities?

* are u not discriminating just as what the OP is trying to do in his boring and senseless post?

Pls i think u should edit ur comments, and try to be objective why correcting the OP who intended to cause an unnecessary e-war. Cause i do not see any need for that topic and moreover, we have seen that same post time without number here.

Thanks! My humble submission.

Oscar used to be a very creative player when he joined chelsea newly, i think it's mournho pattern of football that's taken it grip on him.
Kick and follow, and then come back to defend.

Hope we are not seeing another Mikel in Oscar? Cos mourinho knows how to turn creative players to defenders!!!!
Sports › Re: Chelsea Ready To Sell Mikel Obi by Samunique(m): 10:18pm On Jul 10, 2014
I'm a big fan of mikel, but mikel is the laziest player I've ever seen in my life. He's a kind of player that is so contented with mediocrity that he does not want to welcome new challenges.

I think chelsea just wants to help mikel with this move bcs mikel is ready to stay in chelsea for ten yrs without kicking a ball provided chelsea continues to pay his salary and he is known as a chelsea player, that's all he wants.
That's the reason he's never improved his game, he's a one dimensional player and very predictable in his game, in fact i was ashamed of him in Brazil, i can smell the laziness of his game pattern right from the inside of my TV set at home.

Mikel needs to be sold so that he can stop thinking as a boy of 2005. If he's not sold he will never improve, it takes a lazy player like mikel to be a bench warmer for almost 3 seasons now without making a transfer request or a loan move.

Chelsea pls carry go sell him so that he can rediscover himself.

Christianity Etc › Re: Which One Came To Nigeria First Islam Or Christianity? by Samunique(m):
Islam had been in the SW(yoruba land) much early before Christianity and the amalgamation of southern and nothern protractrates which is called Nigeria.

Some even argue that it entered SW as early as 10th or 11th century through ilorin to oyo and also by the Arab traders.
If notice some of yoruba's dialects have little similarity with some Arabic terms. i.e. Al-barikah, alamisi( Thursday). Alaruba( Wednesday) ojo jimoh ( jimat) Friday. So Islam had come so much earlier than Christianity and had influenced some of the yoruba's languages. But Christianity entered much more later and started gaining ground in 18 to 19th century.

Besides, I'm a Christian, this is my humble submission and i stand to be corrected.
