For how long will Nigerians suffer? I see no changes. It is going from bad to worse. Youth of today let us learn from history. What does it take to run a government? It is not revenue or allocation but ideas. People are lamenting daily .

This is Bad.

We are losing this much?no wonder the economy is very shaky. These Militants right?i have a suggestion. Let the States take the punishment for this, and as mean as this may Sound, i am sure it will work.

The Governors are the Chief Security Officers of their States, they know these guys causing this problems. If this much money is getting lost, Monies allocated to this States should be reduced too from the Federal Coffers.

If this is done, this Governors will help flush out all these Militants.
Laughing so hard. NNPC would turn to water board soon. Who generates the money to federal coffers. Give these people the basic needs of life. Is it too much to ask for. These money is not utilize at the grassroot

Being Shell workers, they should have been enlightened enough to know that it's a harmless mammal that we hardly see in Nigeria and shouldn't be killed. Why kill it?
A shell worker wouldn't do that for no reason. They respect host community wildlife so much. It is against companies ethics. It might be villagers

Hmm Omo -irabor stay out of politics. Edo and delta politics is usually a do or die affair thing. You've made name for yourself as human right activist. Just be careful not to put Madam (iron lady) in sorrow and weaping.
Politics › Re: When A Nation Cares For Her Citizens by sanandreas(m): 9:09pm On Jul 05, 2016
Nigeria is an improbable country herded together by the British colonialists. It is a union of convenience conceived by the British with the sole aim of plundering the vast natural resources of their occupied territory. Their overriding interest was commerce little wonder, they find it difficult to bequeath an enduring political culture let alone foster unity among her diverse subject.
The result was the when they finally gave independence to Nigeria, they left a deeply fractious nation whose unity is always tested whenever there is religious, ethnic or political rivalry.

12. It's one of the states with the highest allocation in Nigeria yet has little to show for it.

I am not a Niger Deltan.. . I have had that enough
Bayelsa recives far more than Jigawa... Yet no airport and no access roads... The terrian may increase cost by max 100%. .. And bayelsa receive more than 300% what Jigawa did for the last 16 years
So no excuse bro
But they just earned money to run the economy. What does Jigawa contribute to the national treasury? Most of the northern state contribute less than 3billion annually but yet receive 60 billion. It is not by force to like us. Moreover I thought I would see contribution of milk crude from herdsmen but yet zero contribution. Understand the fact that we would progress even without oil. We are blessed in all ramifications.

13% of that money went to the Niger Delta alone
And they got atleast another 20% of that money.. In terms of allocation, NDDC and ministry of Niger Delta
That's 33% of the total oil revenue since 1999 to 2016 that's will give u over 15 trillion naira for the Niger Delta... Given to the leaders of the region and yet nothing or little to show for it
Instead of the so called intelligent youths who school in eastern Europe to ask there youths for accountability the are looking for who to blame
Lagos State generate more than 800bn a year... Yet how much do they receive?

After I visited Jigawa year back... My eyes opened... If lamido could achieve those things then. .. we southerns have no one to blame but our leaders
you are not a Niger deltan stop been an interloper. Remember the terrain is different. Jigawa u mentioned is among the parasitic state.
Politics › Whipping Every Voice Of Opposition. by sanandreas(op): 12:09am On Jul 02, 2016
The world is like a room. It can be safe and equal space for everyone. We just need to dismantle the walls of privilege and oppression. As it stands, the rule of law is stylishly abandoned and hastily discarded to pronounce the guilt of perceived enemy of the government. The Judge is now in full boisterous caprice and which is disdainful in all ramifications. It appears there is no more tempering restraints anymore.
The judge is redefining all known configurations of our national grapple. There is no grand articulation of unifying her constituents. Where is the Federal character Commission? The commission suddenly died and some ardent supporters would say as long as they are Nigerian. Let me say this nepotism breeds oppression. Before now we were given fair weather love and resounding promises still echoeing in the hearts of many.
Our father land is swamped in throes of anxiety and depeened in relentless uncertainty. To her citizens, " theirs is to obey without thought and yield without reflection". Every critic must be suppressed, blackmailed into submission. The critic is crudely hurried into detention without following due process.
The judge preached the infallible gospel of change but he do not practice what he preaches. Her foot soldiers seize the cue of chest beating righteousness and perfection about him. Anyone not dancing to his tune is treated with primitive contempt and dismissive glare. We might wake up one day without freedom. The judiciary should play her role very well being the last hope of the common man.

Northerners never blame their fellow brother no matter the crime. How does this issue concern America and Isreal? I thought I would be see Buhari's picture and Nigerian flag been robbed on the floor. Northerners always feel their enemies are external not knowing they are the cause of their own woes.
