Collynzo9: Does it take anything away from the facts the presented with video evidence? You call it facts, I say it's propaganda. For instance, what would PDP loyalists reactions be when they see; >A documentary on the Chibok girls and how they've been forgotten while our president have conducted two weddings for his adopted girls and was seen dancing like he does not know what is amiss? >A recap of his infamous "Stealing is not corruption" >A recap of his infamous campaign at Enugu saying; "How much did Nwobodo stole >A recap on the bullet proof cars Stella Oduah bought at outrageous sums >A recap of the Oil Subsidy scam that was swept under the carpet >The dwindling External Oil Reserve that is next to nothing >The deaths of job seekers while the minister still remains in office. >The refusal of our deceptive Petroleum minister to show up before the HoR and insisted they must go through GEJ >The countless lives lost in the North to Boko Haram while the VP goes about saying that Buhari is not a true Muslim because a pastor is his vice. These are the little my mind could run to at this point in time. We need not pay heavy sums to print and electronic media houses to make a point. Posterity will judge us all. |

BlackTechnology: Why is North power thirsty
Is Nigeria their property
Why must they insist on ruling Nigeria at the detriment of other ethnic groups
If quota system is applied in admission into schools and federal jobs/appointments to give unqualified Northerners a say,
We must apply quota system in ensuring that ethnic groups of few thousands are allowed to RULE Nigeria
What is good for A is also good for B
Say No To Internal colonialism
Say No To Political Slavery
Say No To Born To Rule
Hypocrisy must not be allowed to thrive See, I'm a full blooded Deltan and I'll gladly tell you that Jonathan has been using the North's mandate. Since you understand PDP so well, ask the ogas who bought you data to fight for them. Jonathan has been living on Umar Musa's Yar'Adua's mandate; one which made him sign a pact with PDP governors that he would ONLY run for just a term. We must be fair to all and above all, our lives and properties matter more than all other things. GEJ has been ineffective and it's obvious he has nothing else to offer. Way back in secondary school, when a class governor/captain is/becomes ineffective, a new one emerges without bad blood to take over from where the former left off. Let's all call a spade a spade and not an instrument for digging; the definition is longer and irrelevant. |

crownprince102: No documentary was sponsored on AIT to showcase the achievement of Jonathan for the past 5 years. No wonder Ekiti civil servant were not being paid and Fayose paid 15 million to mock Buhari on front page. Buhari has been given PDP headache since 2014. I believe the reason for the incessant headaches is obvious; we're frustrated as nothing seems to be working in the country. A peace pact was signed and so far the APC has been quiet in almost every aspect while GEJ and his touts have resorted to cheap shots rather than highlight their achievements in the past six years and give us reasons to vote them again. Rather, GEJ promised unemployment and 2 million jobs annually for the same youths he ruled over for six years. My household and I have chosen Buhari and nothing will stop/change that come Februray, save if rapture takes place. |

Politics › US To Nigeria: Don’t Postpone Elections by Sanchez01(op): 7:56am On Jan 26, 2015 |
https://punch.cdn.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/Jonathan-and-John-Kerry-360x227.jpg The United States has advised Nigeria against postponing the general elections scheduled for next month.
The US Secretary of State, Mr. John Kerry, gave the advice after he met the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan and All Progressives Congress Maj. Gen. Muhamadu Buhari (retd.) in Lagos on Sunday.
Kerry said that the US would deny entry visa to any Nigerian politician responsible for fomenting violence during the February elections.
He urged the Federal Government not to postpone the elections as being canvassed by the National Security Adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd.).
The secretary of state said, “Given the stakes, it’s absolutely critical that these elections are conducted peacefully.”
Kerry was in Nigeria to urge the political class to respect the outcome of the February 14 presidential election.
He explained that Washington was concerned that post-election violence could undermine the stability of Nigeria and hamper the fight against terrorism.
It will be recalled that three days of rioting trailed the 2011 general elections which saw Buhari losing to Jonathan.
Kerry said, “Nobody gains by violence, nobody gains by turning a political disagreement into a killing spree … The proof will be in the actions that are taken in the course of the election and afterwards.
, “Anyone who participates in, plans or calls for violence against the civilian population must be held accountable, including by ineligibility for an American visa. Perpetrators of such violence would not be welcome in the US.”
In an apparent response to Dasuki’s call, Kerry said, “It is imperative that Nigeria holds its elections on time.”
Dasuki had in London last week called for the postponement of the elections to allow the Independent National Electoral Commission distribute more Permanent Voter Cards to Nigerians.
An unconfirmed source said Kerry also spoke with the INEC Chairman, Prof. Attahiru Jega, on the telephone.
He was said to have urged Jega to ensure that the polls, which would determine how the US relates to Nigeria in future, were credible.
Kerry also said that the US remained committed to helping Nigeria fight Boko Haram. Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/us-to-nigeria-dont-postpone-elections/ |

Yes, she's married! The problem overtime has been the 'white wedding' which most people feel they must observe before being termed 'married'. Once the bride price is paid and the traditional rites have been performed, the white/church wedding is just another means of saying "people, come and see ooo; again, we say we're married."
By tradition, you are and if such man falls short of financing a white wedding, tell me, wouldn't he just take the woman to the registry and 'finalize' the agreement? |
Politics › ‘edo People Won’t Vote For Jonathan’ by Sanchez01(op): 7:39am On Jan 26, 2015 |
https://punch.cdn.ng/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Edo-State-Governor-Comrade-Adams-Oshiomhole1-360x225.jpg The Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has said that the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, President Goodluck Jonathan, will not secure the votes of the people of the state in next month’s presidential election due to what he described as the abandonment of the state.
Oshiomhole argued that President Jonathan did not fulfil his promise to contribute to the development of the South-South state, despite enjoying 95 per cent of votes of Edo people for his re-election in 2011.
The governor spoke at separate rallies of the All Progressives Congress in Ehor and Igueben, in Uhunmwode Igueben Local Government Area on Saturday. He explained that in spite of several letters to the Federal Government to assist the state on erosion challenges, the Jonathan administration neglected Edo after persuading them to vote for him as their brother in 2011.
He, however, said that the people of the state had become wiser now and would “vote the President out on February 14, for abandoning them.”
He said, “The last time, we voted for President Jonathan. He got 95 per cent of the total votes in Edo State. Yet, I cannot think of any meaningful thing he has done in the state.
“Last year, President Jonathan gave N2bn each to some PDP states even where he lost election to deal with erosion. Those that don’t have flood erosion were given money for desertification but we in Edo State that voted for him got nothing. I am not lamenting this. We have learnt from it and are determined not to repeat our mistakes.”
Oshiomhole also accused the Federal Government of failing to prosecute “those indicted” in the ill-fated immigration recruitment exercise in 2014, adding that it “is a clear indication that President Goodluck Jonathan did not care about the welfare of the Nigerian youths.
“People lost their lives. Last week, the relatives of those who died in Benin were protesting to us that the Federal Government have not given them even the jobs they promised.”
He, however, expressed confidence that Nigerians would vote for change at all levels in the country, adding that “I believe that with Maj. Gen. Buhari, Nigeria will be in a safer hand beginning with security.” Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/edo-people-wont-vote-for-jonathan/ |

Politics › PDP Hoarding Pvcs In Enugu -APC Gov Candidate by Sanchez01(op): 9:59pm On Jan 22, 2015 |
The governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Enugu State, Okey Ezea, on Thursday raised the alarm over alleged hoarding of Permanent Voter Cards by members of the Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
Ezea, who spoke after the inauguration of his support group in Enugu, said large amounts of the PVCs were in the custody of PDP members.
The APC candidate said information made available to him on Monday revealed that the Independent National Electoral Commission’s electoral officer in Igboeze South Local Government Area, where he hailed from, came to Enugu last weekend and collected PVCs for three wards.
He added that he was informed that the said electoral officer, a woman who was not named, later sneaked into Igboeze South on Sunday and handed over the PVCs of one of the wards to the chairman of the PDP in the local government chapter.
Ezea said he immediately contacted the Resident Electoral Commissioner, who promptly summoned the woman to the INEC office in Enugu.
He said the woman, who was afraid as a result of the discovery of her action, called the PDP chairman from the INEC office in Enugu, pleading with him to return the PVCs as her job was on the line.
Ezea said the PDP chairman returned the PVCs on Tuesday.
He said, “As I speak with you here, they have returned the PVCs, the PVCs were returned on Tuesday.”
Ezea also cited another case where a member of the APC went to the secretariat of Udenu Local Government Area at Obolo-Afor to collect his PVC, and was told to first submit his temporary voter card.
He said the APC member went home to retrieve the temporary voter card, but on his return to the council secretariat to collect the PVC, he was referred to another unnamed woman in Obolo town.
Ezea said the APC member got the woman’s number, contacted her on the telephone and requested his PVC but the woman stopped picking his calls.
“I even collected the number and called the woman myself with another identity and told her that I want to collect my voter’s card, but she has remained evasive,” he added.
Ezea said investigations by the APC in Enugu State revealed that the woman, whose GSM number was given as 08065861433, was collaborating with an unnamed INEC official with GSM number 08037051436, to mop up PVCs of perceived APC supporters and turn them over to the PDP. Gunmen on Wednesday night attacked the Ekiti State secretariat of the All Progressives Congress in Ado-Ekiti and destroyed the flags and posters of the party’s candidates.
According to a statement issued by the state Publicity Secretary, Taiwo Olatunbosun, the gunmen came in four Hilux vehicles and a car to unleash the mayhem.
“Shortly before they arrived, streetlights along Ajilosun Street where the APC secretariat is located were switched off. The hoodlums wounded the security man at the gate of the APC office,” the statement said.
Olatunbosun claimed that the Director of Department of State Service, Mr. Samuel Tamuno and the Commissioner of Police, Taiwo Lakanu, had been informed about the development.
When contacted, Lakanu confirmed the crisis saying, “I don’t think there was any sporadic shooting there. But I have drafted my men there to maintain peace and order.”
The party said Governor Ayo Fayose had concluded plans to hold a rally at Fajuyi Roundabout in Ado-Ekiti on Saturday in a bid to disrupt the APC presidential rally scheduled for the same day in the city.
“Fajuyi roundabout is a major road to Ekitiparapo Square along NTA road where the APC is holding its presidential rally on Saturday.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission’s rule prevents two parties to hold rallies on same day in the same state capital. The PDP held its rally about two weeks ago,” the statement added. Source: http://www.punchng.com/news/gunmen-attack-ekiti-apc-secretariat/ |

Politics › Buhari Qualified For President – Constitutional Lawyer by Sanchez01(op): 8:40am On Jan 22, 2015 |
A constitutional lawyer, Tunji Abayomi, on Wednesday in Abuja said that Muhammadu Buhari, the All Progressives Party, APC, presidential candidate, had fulfilled the constitutional requirements to contest for the office of President.
Mr. Abayomi, who stated this in an interview said the logic of Section 131(d) of the Nigerian 1999 Constitution focused not on certificates but on educational level.
Mr. Abayomi further argued that it was constitutionally “trivial and definitely unwarranted” for anybody to insist that Mr. Buhari must produce his certificates.
He contended that the argument by some lawyers that Mr. Buhari must produce his School Certificate was based on ignorance of the provisions of the 1999 constitution.
“The 1999 constitution as amended is superior to the provisions of the 2010 Electoral Act as amended. “In my considered view and having regard to the unambiguous words of the constitution, it did not even say that to qualify for election to the office of president you have to go to school,’’ he said.
Section 131 of Nigeria’s 1999 Constitution says that a person shall be qualified for election to the office of the President: If (a) he/she is a citizen of Nigeria by birth; (b) he has attained the age of forty years; (c) he is a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political party; (d) and must have also been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent. Abayomi said that it was, therefore, left for INEC to send its officials to the institutions that Mr. Buhari indicated in his affidavit that he attended to verify the said certificates. He said, "and were u satisfied with GMB previous extremism? a religious bigot, etc Jona isn't better at all but GMB worse, dey for give us better candidates like oshiomole, fashola ,Amaechi, etc u can't count them, look at this night news army opened up for the first not having his certificate and his results are an eyesore" MY REPLY.... This would be the first time i am going fully political on public media online... 1. GMB has never been involved in any religious extremism! He is an islamic fundamentalist which is to say the same thing as ,'i am a christian fundamentalist. A fundamentalist is someone who believes in the fundamental principles of his or her chosen religion.
2. Politics is a game of interests and numbers! Buhari is the strongest candidate that a party such as the APC can field because he has the britest chance of winning the incumbent in this election rigging environment. The likes of fashola and baba osho will be aides to buhari. Have you not heard that fashola will be GMB's C.O.S?
4. If you can believe the current hullabaloo on GMB's certificate, then you can believe anything. Buhari's certificates were looted after he was overthrown by IBB and their cohorts. GMB was the head boy of the provincial government school in katsina. His classmate was Gen. Shehu yar'adua. Allow me ask you this question, if you misplace your ssce result after getting a B.Sc and M.Sc , is that SSCE the certificate you will produce when you already have higher credentials as your 'MINIMUM REQUIREMENT?
5. PDP knows they do not have any case concerning GMB's certificate. If they do, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN IN COURT A LONG TIME AGO. ALL THEY ARE DOING RIGHT NOW IS WHIPPING UP PUBLIC SENTIMENTS TO HOODWINK YOU AND I AWAY FROM ISSUES BASED CAMPAIGN TO ONE OF MEDIOCRITY AND UTTER DISDAIN FOR SPORTSMANSHIP.
THAT BEING SAID, MAY THE BEST MAN WIN........but come feb. 14th i will vote for GMB. Sincerely, LORDHUGO
