jdilight: I like setting my offering and tithe out a day before church service. I don't just deep mine hand in my pocket to give God anything. Exactly, this is the way it should be. Sorting things out before going to church gives one rest. OP, it has happened and I believe you have learnt a thing or two. Most churches have stopped that habit a long time ago. |

I know it may sound weird but I tend to run away fem places Where marriage is being discussed. I develop nausea and excessive sweating sometimes. One big problem is that am the first and only son of my parents and I don't know how my mom would react when I tell her. pls I need advice It's a pity you're going through this but it's somewhat expected for someone who is defined by the bolded. It seems you're still strongly tied to your mum and that explains why you're more concerned about how she'll react. Give it some time, read books on relationships and commitments and take a personal step to be the man you're short oof |

Zulash: https://9jaexclusive.net/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/dont_date-300x150.png If he uses pet names constantly, probably he doesn't know what your actual name is.
By Macy Williams
There are certain types of guys that women find irresistible, even if we know that those men are no good. Can you blame us? Everybody loves a bad boy, but the troublemakers are only the tip of the iceberg.
There are plenty of other types of guys that women should avoid dating at all costs. Take our word for it — your love life will be a whole lot better.
1. The Nut Job. When he starts telling you about all of the weird and socially unacceptable things he wants to do to you, you might want to check his legal records.
2. The Sap. Does he call you by pet names so much that he can't even remember your real name? Ew.
3. The Oversharer. Beware, he might put all of your personal confessions on Facebook. For all you know he's live tweeting your relationship at this very moment.
4. The Possessive Guy. If you so much as glance at your male waiter, your guy will explode. Be careful, he might put a "property of" tag on you.
5. The Socially Uneducated. There are basic words and phrases that everybody should know. If he is starting to build up a history of being completely aloof, maybe he has been living at his mom's house for too long.
6. The Lazy Oaf. He sets enough snacks around his recliner for three days so he never has to get up. When you talk to him, his eyes don't even leave the TV screen. You can give up on being taken on a date now.
7. The Stage-5 Clinger. He wants to talk to you at every second of every day. And if you don't pick up your phone, he has a nervous breakdown. Time for some breathing room.
8. The Tough Lover. You come home from a bad day and he tells you to suck it up. Sometimes a girl could use some sympathy, OK?
9. The Narcissist. He loves himself more than he will ever love you. Enough said.
10. The Really Old Guy. The mature older man is always appealing, but let's be honest: you have nothing in common with him. He thinks you're a child, and soon enough he'll be reminding you of your grandpa.
11. The Show-Off. Whether he wants you to look at his muscles or listen to his mad bagpipe skills, he needs your attention and approval at all times. Give a girl a break.
12. The Cheap Guy. There's nothing wrong with going Dutch on a meal, but when a guy can never pay for anything ever, it's time to drop him. Ever heard of a job?
read more: http://9jaexclusive.net/12-types-guys-not-want-date/ I beg to disagree the bolded. Calling pet names from now to the end of the world does not mean one would forget his/her partner's name. A wise guy/lady know this to be true. For those who delight in pet names more, they know calling themelves by their names mean there's the possibility of a quarrel or fight. |

Politics › Election Riggers Tactic Exposed by Sanchez01(op): 8:57pm On Feb 01, 2015 |
I was returning home from church this evening with a friend, and got into a discussion which involves politics. It was not long until he told me something he considered strange; he had of late, gone to visit his mum (he is a bachelor and his mum stays somewhere in Lagos, not too far from him though) and he bumped into his older brother who also visited the mum and is, according to my pal, a die-hard follower of a political party.
According to him, the scariest part of the visit to his mum's house was when his elder brother asked him for his PVC and upon showing it to him (his older brother), his older brother collected it from him and quickly wrote out his VIN (19 characters comprising both numbers and alphabets at the top of the card, just under the "VOTER'S CARD" on the card) and his code (9 characters just at the extreme left of the PVC, closest to one's image on the card.
According to my friend, his older brother claims 'his party' had commission them to get it from unsuspecting citizens, either consciously or unconsciously. For the conscious ones, they're 'compensated' with a token.
Please keep your PVC safe, protect it all cost and SAY NO to election malpractice. Let's have a free and fair election |

I believe the broom is more important. Almost everyone own one and of course, the purpose, we all know and is used DAILY. Unlike the umbrella which is used seasonally. The rainy season is the most important moment when the umbrella plays its role.
In our own case, the umbrella has failed to serve as a cover during the rainy days; our crucial moments and it's now begging to shield us for 4 more years under a Kung-Lao. I'll romance the broom over the umbrella.

chicbenita: Here with the help of our friends we are going to disect some few immediate turn offs men see in some ladies.
• Farting In Our Presence Men hate this to the core, they may pretend not to but they really hate when you do it in their presence. If you doubt me, go and ask a man whom you don’t know to tell you what he thinks of a lady who fart or always fart in front of him.
• Eating too much Whenever you Ladies are in our Presence please try to control your eating habits. Not that we’re too broke to buy you Food but eating without Class just because your indoors is disgusting to say the least!
• Washing of your undies (panties) Please try to reduce the amount of times you wash your undies in our presence. Forget that popular slang which tends to say that when a man loves you, he can even wash your undies, we’re not that cool with seeing someone else’s undies!
• Talking too dirty Please, have control of things you say in our presence. Don’t be too naughty when it comes to your language except you want to remain a GIRLFRIEND FOR LIFE!!!!!
• Laughing excessively Control the length you laugh in front of us. When we’re not around, you can laugh and bring down the roof if you wish. I was talking to a lady and she laughed so loud that she didn’t know when she polluted.
• Always watching movies If your a Nollywood addict please, for the sake of not receiving any RED CARD, stop giving all your time to once your man is around. We need total concentration when we are talking to you
• Fighting Never you fight in front of your man, he may feel that one day you will fight his mother.
• i Too Know attitude Its very annoying when you always act like you know everything. When we argue about sports, romance, friends etc its cool for you to let us win sometimes as it would do you no harm than try to make sure you POV is the most correct even when its not. I quite disagree with those two though. Laughing excessively or not is not a crime and I don't see it as turn-off in any way. Of what use is a relationship when you as a lady laugh like a robot just because you want him to see you in good light.
Also, movies are no crime and devoting free times or days to watch movies are no biggies. Where the wahala would be is when she's watching ONLY Nollywood movies. Our movies shrink one's IQ and they're not to be feasted upon everytime. Bollywood, just a bit. Hollywood? Watch for as long as you can. |

A man who had no military record and was made C-I-C of the armed forces, surrounds himself with the likes of FFK, Doyin Okupe, Reno Omokri and the runaway Maku. What do you expect agabusta: The name that would have been the most important release is that of the person that wrote a letter to the president. I wonder why they decided to keep the name. Spilling out the name would have given the letter some more credibility. Well, for now I guess they just want our attention to be on the Chief of Operations and the ADC to the president. And you think by doing such the soldier does not expose himself to danger I don't believe this came from army officers though, more like those at the receiving end of a cane |

Romance › Re: My Online Dating Experience. by Sanchez01(m): 1:05am On Jan 31, 2015 |
irishCream: Hello Romancelanders I want to narrate my experience with online dating.
Have always been sceptical about online dating but decided to give it a try after one year break of dating. I opted out of my previous affair cos my ex family were against him marrying from my tribe so had to end the shiiit and give myself a break since he was acting so indecisive about the whole thing. Now my experience...
I am one of the few nairaland babes that do respond to pm especially if your contribution to this forum has been matured and reasonable irrespective of the section you frequent. So of all the pms I do have i sifter and respond to few but so far I'm not impressed with the calibre of men searching online.
After taking risk to exchange my contact and get to meet (in chaperone oh) few of them(about 3) I find out that most men searching online has something terrible about them that makes ladies turn them down in real life that's why they run to online, it either they are unkempt, rass or not presentable, some can't even talk like a real man, they are either too weak or timid in real life, no class no nothing.
Forget all those edited pictures used as dp and the likes most of them in real life are dirty!!! How can a grown up guy don't know how to clean up and look neat, I mean why must your personal hygiene be zero You're meeting someone for the first time and your mouth oozes, who does that Or is that also attributed to poverty? I have male cousins that earn less than 50k in a month but they still look neat and presentable.
Is there someone that has experienced same be it with male or female or am I alone in this I find the fact that you directed your hits at those you met and you emphasized the fact that they're dirty. While this may be true, I believe that it would have been way better if you kept it to yourself because you have succeeded in giving yourself an unpleasant face. Sometimes, our ability of good judgement is not to be necessarily aired but rather, in observing and studying while weighing the odds. Yes, timidity is a factor for most males but some section of the male folks would as well prefer the real deal to the online thing. Albeit, I believe the problem is I am one of the few nairaland babes that do respond to pm especially if your contribution to this forum has been matured and reasonable irrespective of the section you frequent. So of all the pms I do have i sifter and respond to few but so far I'm not impressed with the calibre of men searching online. You need not respond to several PMs because I've come to discover that people's post are determined by their attitude. That a sulky guy decides to post something nice does not mean he'll remain nice. I believe online datings are even more stressful and more demanding, because impressing the other person becomes the goal rather than being you. |
