fergie001:Well, most football fans these days don’t even get to see Cantona and Keane play. They probably started from the time of Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo trio upfront. |
OJEEMAH:You realize that you can be too overqualified for a role and too good for a company right? |
Roboto11:Most indigenous groups or whatever is left of them in America mostly live away from civilization. This particular one is so hard because they do not live like typical Americans, meaning no credit, no mortgage, etc. I am trying to wonder who’ll be responsible for their electricity bill after this set up. If it’s up to them, believe me, they just wouldn’t care to go all dark again. |
Cityfirstborn:City were in touch. Ronaldo himself mentioned it in the full interview with Piers Morgan and admitted Ferguson asked him not to go to City and he listened. It was obviously out of respect for Ferguson and the fans of United. True, he wanted to leave in the summer but couldn’t get any offers, not because he wasn’t wanted but because clubs couldn’t match what his agent was demanding. As old as Ronaldo is, he still wouldn’t come cheap. It was the fact that Ferguson didn’t want him to move to City was what led to his United move. Please, stick to what you know to be true and not what you heard in viewing centers or what you assume to be true. If Ronaldo was offered for free, clubs will kill themselves to get him. He is old but remains the most influential figure in football. |
Cityfirstborn:City was truly interested in Ronaldo but Ferguson was a major factor in the crumbling of the deal. Augero had a bad heart condition that made him quit earlier. City’s plan was to land Ronaldo and Haaland and Pep was open to the idea of a Ronaldo but knew the rivalry of Manchester would affect the outcome and it did. |
OJEEMAH:What makes a club? The quality of players, manager, fans or all? More often than not, it is the first two. The place of the third will forever be special. Clubs, like kingdoms rise and fall and the current United team is beneath Ronaldo, considering the glorious career and successes he has enjoyed and had. NO ONE IN THE UNITED TEAM CAN MATCH THE QUALITY OF PLAYERS AND TEAMMATES HE’s PLAYED WITH OVER THE YEARS (both at the old United and Real Madrid). It was bad enough enough that THE Ronaldo would miss out on Champions League and follow a team with the likes of Maguire into Europa and play week in week out but get benched and relegated to the classic time waster who comes on at the 86th minute. Ronaldo wanted to leave at the summer but got repeated reassurances from ETH that he was a crucial part of his plan only to bench him. There are only two players on the planet that are bigger than most clubs and this is not coming from a place of bias or sentiment. The likes of a manager such as ETH managing someone as Ronaldo is even ridiculous; a player with richer Champions League experience than the person acting as coach or manager is just crazy. Unfortunately, that is the reality of clubs such as United that has fallen from grace. |
fergie001:This is the point. The interview was done weeks ago and the fact that Piers Morgan released it now means that Ronaldo must have okayed it. It's a World Cup year and it is obvious he is closing every window at returning to the club. Man is done and his legacies won't be defined by this. Most of his successes were in Spain and not even in England. Roy Keane and Eric Cantona had egos the size of an elephant and they are still regarded as legends of United. |
OJEEMAH:His daughter was hospitalised around the time United were on a pre-season tour. No sane man will honour one useless club over family. Rooney has said so many ridiculous things about him while he kept quiet. "Eric the Hag" kept saying Ronaldo was part of his plan even when the player was trying to move away from the club. In the end, he got relegated to the bench. We get it, he is old and not as young as he used to be, which is all the more reason United should have let him go but no. ETH never respected him but when he says he does not respect him either, it becomes an issue. I hate to be the one to say this but Cristiano Ronaldo is bigger than Manchester United just like Messi is bigger than the current Barcelona. Players are humans and can be unhappy when things are not in place. It's like wanting away from your everyday job. Just because your branch manager love your work ethic doesn't mean you shouldn't leave when job satisfaction is not there. Casemiro wanted to leave Madrid and he is still loved by Madridistas. It is only in England that wantaway players are regarded as betrayers. |
That’s a dumb move. The virus can’t survive for long outside of the human blood. |
Pinterest: ![]() A lot will happen before then; the World Cup, injuries, etc., but there is no denying that this current Liverpool team before and after the World Cup will beat Real Madrid. Chances of most clubs ending up with injured star players after the WC is very high. The emboldened ![]() |
topsam1:All the more reason it's worse for Liverpool. The current Liverpool team is as good as dead. At their finest, they couldn't beat Real Madrid in the finals, let alone in two legged matches when they are as bad as Nigeria's economy. |
Pinterest:Wait, so you believe Liverpool will beat Real Madrid to qualify? ![]()
|
Cantonese:PSG is playing Bayern. They are a very loose team that concedes a whole lot. I don't see them beating Bayern Munich. My only concern is that Messi escaped from Barcelona on to now meet the same Bayern Munich that complicated his mental health. |
Fira09:It's just too easy for Real Madrid with the Liverpool pairing. Madrid has beaten them so bad that they now run ![]() |

Over $1.3 billion has been pocketed by some elements, spearheaded by a wobbly godfather.
