Blonchilli:
The pic was posted by a fan who posed with the action star during a recent visit to Tibet. It shows Jet looking frail and nearly bald. He revealed back in 2013 he suffers from hyperthyroidism and a heart condition.

At the time, he said he could continue making action films or spend the rest of his life in a wheelchair. But, more to the point ... Jet has also suffered serious leg and spine injuries over the course of his career, admitting he can't stand for a long period of time without hunching.

Just 4 years ago Li was starring alongside some of the biggest action stars in the world in "The Expendables 3" ... looking nowhere near what he looks like now.

Jet Li suffers from hyperthyroidism after being diagnosed in 2010.

I pity those who believe him.
So he loves Nigeria more yet he can sing the English anthem but not the Nigerian.
Who is deceiving who?

The truth is;
He couldn't get into the English Senior National team but getting a shirt in the Nigerian senior team even as a minor was a piece of cake courtesy of his uncle JayJay.

These folks should learn to say the truth.
You see your life? So singing the national anthem has become a prerequisite for loyalty and love for one's country. Let me ask you, how many of your so called leaders knows how to sing the anthem?

SexyyWithBrain1:
How To Prepare NON-STICKY Garri or Eba
STEPS
1) Boil Water in a Kettle or Pot (Make Sure it boils very well)

2) Measure the amount of Garri you want to prepare into a bowl (make sure the bowl is big enough)

3) (Now Very Important) Pour the hot water in the Garri (a substantial amount but not excess). Now ''DO NOTHING!''. I mean do not shake, turn, steer or touch the Garri. Just leave it without covering for 7 to 10mins....you may cover it with something like a Sieve that can let the heat pass through.

4) After about 7-10 minutes, start steering from the edges of the bowl. If there are parts water did not touch, then add more water and when you steer for about a minute, then leave the heat to go out for about 2 minutes again.

5) After the second time you left it to cool off, then go ahead to steer properly and it will definitely not be sticky.

6) You can still rally it round the bowl by holding the bowl up and moving it vigorously in a circular form until the Garri gets a very smooth appearance.

7) This is my method. Feel free to add yours.

Despite the current harsh economic realities in Nigeria, Nigerian entrepreneurs are still doing great things.

These are images of some beautiful luxury buses captured during the recently concluded 13th Lagos International Motor Fair.

Here is the interesting thing: they were produced right here in Nigeria.

Even more heartwarming is that these different lines of luxury buses are specially designed to suit our bumpy and rough terrain. They are also fitted with very chilling ACs.

These are Yutong lines of Luxury buses. In terms of size, lenght and seating capacities, Yutong buses come in different categories.

These Nigeria-made luxury buses are far more affordable than other brand of imported luxury buses.

Yutong bus project is a Chinese automotive franchise. The Nigerian assembly plant is located in Igbo-Ukwu in Anambra state.

The assembly plant is operated by Kojo Motors Ltd.

EducationRe: The Agony Of Private School Teachers by Sanctecosma(m): 10:43pm On May 04, 2018
easzypeaszy:
Though private school is the largest employer of labour in Nigeria(shame on our government) who pays NCE, HND, Degree and Master holders between 15,000 to 35,000 monthly. A teacher receiving 35,000 may or may not have a salary increase for the next five to ten years of teaching. Even when the salary is been increased, may be by 10% at the end of five or ten years of teaching.

There was this lady in a private school close to my house, she started working even before i got admited into the university, now she decide to resign from the teaching job as the 25,000 naira been paid to her for the past ten years could no longer meet up with her needs. She wrote a resignation letter a month ahead and all she could get was same 25,000 she receive monthly.

But in same Nigeria we have Doctors, Nurses, Pharmacist and so on protesting and going on strike for an increase in salary scale aside the huge amount been paid to them monthly.

Private teaches and even government own primary and secondary schools are been treated badly.

We saw on news how alot of private school teachers been treated and some even killed.

I even learnt that some private schools in the west pay as little as 7000 to their teachers, what a pity.

A private school teacher will be ask to take the whole JSS1 to SS3 classes.

Most atimes you dont get your salary till after 5 to 10 days of the month.

A private school teacher is been imprisoned between the 7am and 3pm that even to take a breakfast you must get a pass before you could go get your food.

A friend of mine took a permission to go for an interview at Usmanu Danfodio University which lasted for two days, he was sacked the third day he returned to the school.
I hope this minimum wage will affect them becouse even the NLC dont put them into consideration.

And am asking, does it mean that the private school teachers in Nigeria, states dont have a union?
Hmmm! The way you narrated this, one would think that is project topic. Lolz.

LordAdam16:
Yes, and you think they'd conveniently forget to let his Holiness know that two Catholic priests were killed during a Mass?

Or is that not part of the MO of the Catholic Church in Nigeria?

Did you notice the speed with which Femi Adesina responded to the Catholic priests killing, the call for limiting of movements by Buhari to ECOWAS, and NEC agreeing to stop movement of herdsmen to the Middle Belt plus ranching.

You don't kill Catholic priests without repercussions. It's an 1800 yr old institution.

-Lord
Ofcourse. One thing will always lead to another. So such issues will certainly come up Cuz they too are shepherds(leaders in their own dispensation), and shepherds ought to be concerned about the safety and well being of their flock . My point is that that is not the sole reason of their being there because that's seemingly what people are already thinking.

.. You don't kill catholic priests without repercussions.. Yea, you may be right. You remember how it was for the people of Israel when they grumbled against Moses?. Yet that does not mean that other people's (non clergy) lives who were affected are demeaned.

Mind you the reason why they're there has nothing to do with the state of the nation rather a customary visit every year to bring His Holiness up to speed on the "modus operandi" so to speak for the catholic church in Nigeria.

RomanceRe: Wedding Photos Of Lesbian Couple In US Go Viral by Sanctecosma(m): 8:13pm On Apr 27, 2018
emmanuel596:
Chantel Nicole Beverly, 30, a 5th Grade Teacher and Shavonia Peterson, 33, Exceptional Education Teacher walked down the aisle on April 7, at The Yacht Club, Marina Shores Virginia Beach, VA

"I walked into a club one summer night in 2011, she had no idea she'd find the love of her life, Shavonia, on the dance floor. But that's exactly what happened. Seven years later they tied the knot and their gorgeous nuptials will move you," said Chantel.

"Being a bride felt like I was on cloud 9," admitted Chantel. "After I got past the nervousness part, it was the best feeling in the world. I felt so beautiful and so loved. There were a few overwhelming moments but for the most part, it was wonderful."
It took awhile for me to find 'the one,'" said Chantel.
"Shavonia is very interesting. She’s actually the opposite of me. I’m more optimistic and she’s more realistic. I’m very outgoing and she’s more reserved. She’s very organized and I could be all over the place sometimes. However, she’s my perfect match. She’s loving, caring and will do anything for those she holds near and dear to her heart. She is the yin to my yang.

Chantel reveals that there were no frills about how Shavonia proposed, and that's what made it sweeter.

"It was a very simple proposal. Nothing fancy at all. On Thursday, December 15, 2011 she came in the house after working and was acting weird. She grabbed my hand and was shaking nervously and then got down on one knee and told me how much she loved me and how much I have inspired her and asked me to marry her."

"My wife and I met at an LGBT club named, Colors. I can remember it like it was yesterday." said Shavonia.

"It was a hot summer night on Saturday, July 23, 2011. It was interesting because I had not gone there in years a

nd I randomly decided to go with a friend that night. I was at the bar and I saw her from across the room. I was attracted to her instantly and repeatedly glanced in her direction. I felt our eyes meet one another and she came over to me. She asked, 'What you doing up in here, are you a lesbian?' She thought I was straight and didn’t believe me. That night we danced the night away and exchanged numbers after the let out. She called me and we talked on the phone for hours like we were teenagers. The following week we went on a date and the rest was history. We were inseparable. I chose to make Chantel my wife because she is truly the most selfless and kind-hearted person I know," said Shavonia of her bride.
"She loves with her whole heart. She’s loyal to all of her friends and family. She motivates me and inspires me to be the best woman I can be. I love how loving, patient and selfless Chantel is. I love how she stays firm in what she believes in. Whatever Chantel wants, she lets nothing stand in her way of getting it. She has literally made me a better woman."

It is jealousy and envy that will kill u.

Firstly, how many years did engineers spend in school pre nysc, just 5 years. Compare it to the number of years doctors spend in school pre nysc, 6 years, plus extra year for housemanship. And don't forget that 5 out of doctors 6 years are continuous, there's no semester break, unlike engineering students that have so many semester breaks and holidays, so by medical school standards, engineers spend less than 3 years in school.

Compare the cost of studying medicine and the cost of studying engineering, they pay higher tuition and their textbooks are d most expensive.

Finally, note that ur pay is based on ur productivity. If nysc engineers were serving in engineering and manufacturing facilities as professional engineers, then maybe their pay can be increased, but since they are working as teachers, then they ought to b paid as teachers. Nysc doctors serve in hospitals, doing their jobs as professional doctors, therefore, they are paid as doctors.

And for saying that doctors are useless without u pple because u made d machines they use, are u aware that u will not be alive today without doctors because sickness and disease for don kill u.

And how dare u compare mth and mee courses with with medical courses, engineering courses are childs play when compared withe medical courses. Seems u haven't seen ANA301 and PTH courses.
...Medical students' texbook are very expensive... My be. But that doesn't mean other disciplines have no expensive texbooks. If u need a memo, come to Petroleum engineering Domain. Unless u're well-off (as Pet Engr student) and asides having soft copies either on ur phone aar lappy, you can hardly afford such textbooks which are mostly authored by foreign professors and engineers.
