If this is an option for you, weigh the cons against the pros.
You have listed 3 inevitable challenges here in case you accept to take the first semester online.
If the need and your desire to begin your program this fall outweigh your tolerance for those challenges, and you know your desire won't smolders when you face these challenges, then go on. Make budget plan, see if fueling generator when there is no NEPA light can help, and upgrade your laptop battery, or get a brand new laptop entirely, then see if you can switch to better network, if possible.

Note that school officials are very much aware of these challenges, and it is one of the reasons they are challenging the new rule, not merely because the rule says some students should return to their countries.
Except you are on full ride scholarship, think very well about this. You don't want to pay some good $ for courses conditions in Nigeria will not let you make the best of.

Hmmm you just hit me from the head here oooo.
What if embassy asked me why i didnt accept the online class option what will i say? This is another point.

you don't need to pay SEVIS fee
Boss are you too putting in for online classes for this FALL-SEMESTER 2020? But my fear is that how is it going to be because I need my GPA badly oooo and I don't want to be underperformed due to many factors like :
Bad network during the lecturers
No Light or NEPA take Light during the lecturer
Battery low and so on.
Hope you people get my points?

You can get it certified in a court by a notary public at about 50 or 100 or 200 naira per page, depending on the location. I did mine at customary Court of appeal Enugu at 50 naira per copy.

Secondly, after getting it done, you may beg your institution to add the Certified documents to your transcripts when they are sending it. I don't know if this will be possible. I just think it would reduce cost of shipping for you.

Thanks so much for this priceless support.

One more thing how can I do the ND and HND transcripts again? I don't E even know why i included them in my application self.

Hello my better people,
My school asks me to order my institution to send my official transcripts with a certified copy of my certificate. What did they mean by "Certified Copy of Bsc Certificate" because I have my Bsc certificate with me already now, so will school send it again?

I used my both ND, HND and Bsc to apply for admission, how I am going to send all the transcripts to them without costing me a lot of money?

You can pay with the app. Click on bill payments and select visa fee then follow the prompts from there.
After the transaction, there is an option to download receipt, so the receipt will be sent to your email

Thanks so much.
I Will forever grateful to this platform (Nairaland)

I still do not understand from the examples you gave why standardized test are not true measure of intelligence.

So what is true measure of intelligence?

Yes Standard test is not the yard stick at all time to measure academic excellence or the level of intelligence. Take for instance, when i want to apply for undergraduate in Finland 2014 then i did SAT twice, i did the First SAT without going to any Tutorial classes i scored MATHS=510, and WRITING/READING 440 total =950 but i didnt get the admission into METROPOLIA UAS, after that i registered myself again and i attended SAT Tutorial class for 3 months so as boost my score Yet i end up scoring MATHS= 450, ENG = 420 Total 870 very woeful upon all my preparations.
So some times these Standard exams dont justify our level of intelligence.

Yeah. In summary:
No specific date on embassy reopening but they are actively working to figure out how to expedite student visas when it does reopen.
The main question in the interview is proof that you intend to be a student, they don't want rehearsed answers proving your home ties, they just want to know that you're qualified to be a student and intend to study in the US.

Hello house,
I just watched the US Embassy Live interaction on F1 student Visa however the take-away from there is they said they are going to make the F1 Visa Application a priority when they resume that is they will be attending to it majorly and who knows maybe a lot of F1 visa issuance since their quota for giving it out this year haven’t reach Halfway
N/B: they didn’t talk about when they are going to resume but I think it’s soon as they were so positive and they made mention of them having something they are or would be running for it.
Best of lucks.

We are at the point where we have to face reality. The Embassy is still closed and will be until futher notice. So accept any request to defer your admission to Spring 2021, beyond or an online option. If I were you I will wait till August b4 taking a decision
IF I SHOULD WAIT TILL AUGUST BEFORE I DECIDE ON DEFERMENT, WHAT OF THE I-20?
THE SCHOOL CANT JUST WAIT FOR ME TO KEEP MUTE FROM NOW TILL AUGUST BEFORE I REQUEST FOR MY I-20, HOPE YOU GET MY POINT SIR
