And that insensible governor in ebonyi or which state wants to defect thinking the tides will favour him! I just pity him cos he will destroy every reputation he has been building in his current party. In all these schemes, SE had better be patient and wait for the right time to strike and take advantage of the situation.
Umahi have always been an opportunist

But he miscalculated too early this time

Even if he don't join APC, he cannot be trusted again.

However, am not one to support tribal politics, I think Igbo's should first get it right at the governorship level.

Nigerians will eventually clamour for a working governor to be their president because they are not blind.

No governor have done well since 1999 for all I care, the best have always been one eyed men being kings in the land of the blinds.

The worst mistake Nigeria has been making since 1999 is to never hold their governors responsible which is why we can never have a sane president.

What is remaining is for APC to also include INEC chairman post during their next convention.

We never have it this bad.

INEC is gradually turning into a branch of APC

NwaAmaikpe:
shocked

Just like it is with women.
If these policemen want to go, the IGP should let them go. "Never beg who doesn't want to be with you to be with you."

Agbamuche learnt the hard way that when a woman tells you that she is fed up; you should neither try to beg, coerce, blackmail or cajole her to stay back when he found out that the pastor whom he begged to counsel her on the importance and sanctity of marriage was the father of their 3rd child.

The IGP should not be scared.
The truth is that; even if all these policemen choose to retire today, there are many of us who are willing to pick up their batons and guns and replace them at those checkpoints collecting every 50 naira bribe with the truest diligence.
He is back !!!!

The assertion is correct on what ground, if the power of making president is in their hand why haven't they become president since, secondly what you told your friend can only exist in your imagination, see my guy we in Ebonyi does not consider anybody in our aspirations except God Almighty, when Ebonyi was created it was to the shock of south Easterners, the transformation we have in beautiful Ebonyi right now I'm sure many Easterners specifically Anambra ppl may want to commit suicide because they can't believe this is happening in Ebonyi, see your narrative does not & will never hold water because such will only remain in your imagination & your like minds, the problem is that most of you are still living in the 50s, & have refused to wake up to the present day reality.
Sorry if I rattled you.

I just reaffirmed the reality on ground in Nigeria

See... I don't see anything so wrong with the huge amount.

That's after ignoring the fact that we should have focused in deworming and stop this wastage called school feeding.

I will also try unsuccessfully to ignore the fact that more than 70% of the fund will be looted by same government.

Yes, like I said earlier, if you consider the target population, you will discover that this fund is but a paltry sum.

And what makes it more wicked is to suffer millions of vulnerable children by looting this fund.

I will be very surprised if this fund is not looted.

Politics › Re: Governors Differ Over Alleged Diversion Of 13% Oil Derivation Funds by sapientia(m):
Money is the only thing you see politicians flexing money for.

Thieves.

That aside

FG is wrong on this one.

I wonder this kind of restructuring.

I think what FG should have done is to create a police checkmating instrument to supervise those Niger Delta commissions to ensure that at least the host communities are not shortchanged.

And also ensure that the funds are not looted which I think is impossible under Buhari as NDDC probing have already been forgotten.

Okowa made sense until he started bringing in his major channel of looting funds which is through contracts.

But he was right in asserting that host communities alone should not get the funds.

After all, they share with everyone in other revenues but I must also throw my support for them to get at least 50% of the funds since we know that oil exploration is an apex environmental degradation agent.

Well, if NDDC and a the DEC DEC have not been looting ruthlessly even under Mr anti-corruption, this will not be happening
