they don't allow vendors access to customer contact. The vendor may have called you to inform you the red wasn't available if he had the chance. If he/she didn't ship the item, jumia would have penalized the store... they're very mean to vendors so I guess the vendor did what was necessary.

I agree with not shopping if you are not in Lagos. I recall ordering for a Gold Coloured laptop and getting a red coloured one and because I waited for so long I couldn't even ask for refund or send it back. I think sellers, in a manner typical of the average Nigerian criminal, gambles on things sent outside Lagos because they know returning is usually hard. It is not often easy to return a product because of a minor variation in the features if you waited seven days or more to get it.

I recall asking Jumia to improve on product verification. It makes no sense that someone will order a Gold coloured laptop and when seller brings any package, jumia/Konga do nothing to check it. What did I do? Simple. I left. I can't buy anything in any Nigerian online store anymore. I rather go to ShopRite or any established physical store to get it.

There are two ways to get your names accepted on SH , either you register the name and submit it or you allow Squadhelp register it.

The flaw in your strategy is that you are waiting for them to accept the name before you register. Sometimes you can get away with it but most times if the name is very good, it won’t last the 3-7 days that it will take for them to approve it.

It happened on one of my SH sales , when I saw Hype/Flame in ED, I registered it immediately and submitted it with coin and it was accepted and sold within days though I couldn’t submit it at first because someone had already submitted it to Squadhelp, that is why you keep seeing the names you submitted on the site. It has happened to me though just twice.

Yeah. You have a point. I just noticed that with Sevalis dot com this morning. But that doesn't explain all some of these rejections.

Of course it is. Why reject a name from one person and then accept the name, within the same time frame, from another person? That's not how an unbiased or consistent work is done. We can even experiment here if you want. Give someone with no name in their portfolio a very good name and watch what happens but give same name to someone with over 50 names in their SH portfolio and see the difference. The only argument that could be tolerated is that different persons are assigned to different names and these persons use different parameters for analysing names. If you have over fifty names we can put it to a test. At least three names will do.

SH is biased and doesn't run a fair or consistent system. That's my observation.
