The rate at which the Yahoo field is growing is disastrous. I was in Owerri and I thought it was Nigeria's Yahoo Paradise until I moved to Lagos. Majority of this country's youths are in hell already.

We should do more with what our people consume at the mental, psyche level. Banning songs that promote scam is not enough. In more serious countries the artiste goes to jail for it.

What is behind the things that make you happy? Why are you unhappy about the poor grades? The world is ruled by men who think outside the box and those who don't see any box. The First class students, in our setting, are mostly programmed zombies who mostly end up without any impact. So, why are depressed because of poor grades? What's behind it. Your mental health is number priority. Why is the depression back? You reverted back to Solitude? Don't stay alone or cut people off.

Like I told you always be in company of people who raise your mood. Once you notice any overt thinking creeping in you cut it off and change something.

Congrats on your improved CGPA but you can get better. What company do you keep in class? Look for that group that excel and join them. Don't let pride or shyness stop you.

Studying for 8 hours is not it if you don't know how to study or have interest in the subject. If you are interested in the subject the lectures alone would be enough. Speaking from experience.

Whatever you did that improved the GP should be improved on. You did great working on that, considering your past performance but there's always room for improvement.

Most importantly, try to re-evaluate what happiness means. I assure you if you have that taken care of things like grades won't slump you to depression. Take these two articles serious.

What constitutes happiness to you and what really is its nature? If you were given a million dollars will you still be depressed? If you had good grades and end broke will you be happy?

Like I told you in that first post, don't try to quantize grades to monetary equivalent.

If you are depressed because you think bad grades wouldn't get you a good job or good future(=good money), then it's time to pursue money and leave school.

If on the other hand you are after education then grades should only bother you when your cgpa threatens your education. Do you have a sibling you confide in? Do you even have any friend?

Shun solitude but don't roam aimlessly. Mingle with brighter minds. Check for that group that tops the class and join them. You can't be with a smart group and perform badly.

You are tired? We all get tired but we pick up and plug the loopholes and patch the torrents of torment that sting us every day. Grades are not enough to ruin a man. Don't let it. 4 years in school shouldn't define your life and happiness. It is never too late to start anything. But Boole, what exactly do you want?

The whites just killed us with our weak point (love for football and the search for a better life). Students, adults and married men have seen their future bleeped up by bet9ja. I wish i had the will (full) power to change. Any money in my hand no longer has value. I squander them and beg for food. Now it's a habit, not like i play heavy to win heavy. I could stake 5k (safe game) to get 10k and still lose.


Friends and family have given up on changing me. I think always keeping to myself (narcissistic) contributes to this anomaly. If i can get out of this mess, i think a girlfriend who will help me manage my finances will help in changing my bad habit. Unfortunately, i'm the shy type

What sort of company do you keep? You need to be distracted. Look for a good distraction in groups that offer more meaningful living. Church, etc. I know the will is destroyed. It's hard.

The whites have nothing to do with this. They didn't force you to gamble. They didn't ask you to make those silly moves. You choose to. The situation is not better for addicts there.

Like I told you, always remember you can't win in the bets. You can't win. Never. Get a good friend, girl friend, guy friend, anyone, that will help distract you from that. Ask yourself questions.

Sorry bro. I've seen your story play out so many times before me. The truth is, you will never get rich gambling or playing Baby. It destroys people. It destroys willpower.

Even when you win you can't achieve anything with the money because you've laid a good foundation for uselessness. What to do? Do you have an online account? Delete it to help yourself.

Do you watch soccer in bet centers? If yes, stop it, visit a viewing center without a bet store around or use a bar. Do you have a reasonable friend who doesn't gamble? Stay close to him most of the time.
