How people comfortably call Buhari a man of integrity baffles me. What is the meaning of integrity and the writer used 'High level integrity'.

Do you want to be a secular state or a religious country?

Contrary to popular opinion, the practise of quota system and feeding bottle federalism, where the states’ resources are collected by the federal government and shared every month between them and the federal government, does not favour the north. The idea that the lowering of the standard of education for northern children and persons, is an unfair advantage over other regions of the country is not really what it seems. In our University admissions, the required score for persons from Northern states is usually lower than what is required for the Southern students. The goal, as we have heard and read in so many places, is to enable the north catch up with south educationally. The intention behind it is good but it misses the point.

The point is to raise the level of education in the north and not to leave the north perpetually backward. Experience and psychology have shown that when you lower the standard or aim, when you set a target that is as good as failure, when you base intelligence on a mediocre platform, you will never rise above that standard. That is what happens and has been happening to the society that endorses Quota system. The same thing goes for the resources collected from few states and shared between all the states and the federal government. On the long run, resource control will benefit the north more. What this current system of federalism does is to create a dependency problem that makes it difficult to be productive.

I don't get it. Media houses have been discussing and manufacturing stories before the court discusses them. Take the case of Evans for example. For three weeks we were shown his latest deed, his latest admissions both real and imagined. This is even on higher scale compared to that and we are not hearing anything about it.

Man is really shameless and without honour for self or environment. A sick man who has redefined clueless governance should be tried again.

The facts behind the shrine as a tool by badoo was not substantial. I think the NPF used that to show they are actually working knowingly fully well that after 2 weeks no body will query their performance.

What do you mean by it was not substantial? This case had video of the shrine, the so-called priest of the place and some skulls. How is this not enough? We've always known the media and NPF to report worse unsubstantiated and imagined stories, and one wonders why this obvious one that will give them money is left unattended to.

Top people? It seems our sense of outrage is fully controlled by the media and this is quite sad. Top people have always been involved in almost all crime news that trended in Nigeria. I hate to feel that my mind is being fully controlled by someone. Why is their quiet? It is dangerous for the media to choose what crime that will trend.

Exactly what you read. Why is there quiet on the Badoo shrine busted some days back? Why are the media houses not interested in discussing this evil that was busted?
