I guess we are saying thesame thing just a minor disagreement.
As a matter of fact, tribalism is the state of living together in tribes.
What I've been trying to get at is that, Nigeria has many tribes and in many instances (in our context), the love for our tribes had lead to nepotism. Or should I say, our leaders had been accused of nepotism. I guess you know what that does to our national unity because that breeds distrust.

I understand you better now. But I still disagree. Our love for our tribe doesn't lead to nepotism. What leads to nepotism is our ignorance.

Love for family is too complete to lead to anything negative. This love is the only thing that wouldn't lead to anything hurtful or bad. We confuse these things.

Will we be nepotistic if we know it is a matter of life and death? Will we prefer a quack doctor who is our brother to handle our health when there is a good doctor from another place?

It all boils down to ignorance and stupidity. If we are well informed on the consequences of actions and believe in goodness, we wouldn't be that stupid.

What does it even mean to be a detribalized Nigerian? What does that really mean? What is the Nigerian identity for which a person should ditch his to embrace?

That's the same with Tribalism. When given 100,000 to share equally you share equally. Any attempt at cheating is not tribalism but wickedness. What this thread confuses with Tribalism is stupidity and wickedness. Do Patriots by virtue of being patriots hate citizens of other countries? And when they do, is that part of Patriotism or simple stupidity and hatred? Do we then advise people to shun patriotism?

First thing you should know is, ads are not placed on every view and for any ad to count, the viewer must finish watching it before going to the video.

Secondly, not all ads watched are paid. The viewer could be requested to execute a task at the end of the ad and where they don't, it's not counted.

It is possible. Check the career, business and investments sections for threads on how to make that possible. From fiverr, upwork, freelancer, zemandi, etc. Follow those threads and ask questions.

You simply have to change your lifestyle. I was raised just like you. Maybe not as strict but with a lot of restrictions that impeded my interrelationship with people.

I grew up to be an introvert living a life of solitude. Like you, I realised it didn't make me happy. It was not helping my sanity and happiness. It took certain family loses to force me out of that hole.

I learned that nature is important. I learned that talking with people was therapeutic. I learned that socializing with nature, the trees, the sun, the sand, the grasses and the people has the power to heal.

And I opened myself up. I may be lacking in a high number of friends but I know the value of friendship and human interaction. I know that a life of solitude can never be as healthy as a life with these interactions.

People don't have to be friends for them to give you sanity. You simply have to open up and be free and real when you converse with them. The same thing applies for nature. Use it wisely. You can make yourself happy.

I moved to a city where I have no friend or a job and I took this with me. I stay unoccupied indoors rarely because I know the value of the outside. Mere looking at nature can help. Same apply for mere interaction.

The truth is, selfishness has something to do with it. You were raised to be selfish and it is your duty to change that today. You were brought up with the mindset that people on the outside are less important for your wellbeing. That is a lie.

Your girl could be responding to the negative energy coming from you. Don't infect her with that problem. Sit down and discuss. Open up to her and stop holding back. A CEO can't be that daft to have no input on any matter.

She won't be a CEO if she was that dull. There's a reason she's feigning dull. Try to find out. Don't even think of Suicide. Think of Solutions. You can make yourself happy with the right knowledge and attitude.
