We should not take it so seriously.
Every culture and race has been shown in
a bad light in  movies throughout the years.
A sci fi movie that has been taken so seriously
by Nigerians just goes to show that we are too
sensitive and lack a sense of humour(something
we were never renowned for).

Fools rush in where angels fear to tread. If Yorubas arent disturbing you personally, leave them alone. If you're bothered by what you read about them on Nairaland, then dump your Yoruba friend/s and avoid the rest. No one is forcing you to associate with Yorubas.

There are other tribes who also marry whites- Bini, Ishan, Efik, Ijaw, Ibibio, Annang, Idoma, Tiv, Kalabari, etc. Why not compare their white marriage rate with Igbo.


On the other hand, is your Akwa Ibom side Igbo, because KB1 claims his fantasy Igbo wife is also from there.

I agree with you, Sophie has really shown her true colours since she won. What a nasty piece of work.
She is slating Kris because she claims that he said that they had sex in the house. If I remember correctly,
she was the one that started all that by telling Noirin a lie that she had sex with Kris and it has surely
backfired on her, so she's shifting the blame on Kris.
Why she told such a stupid lie knowing that it would be televised is beyond me.

And as for Siavash, after seeing him on BBBM reunion thing, he obviously has mental health issues,
and the way he gets uncomfortable when the subject of Noirin is brought up just goes to show what
a coward he is. Surely he's over it by now.
And I can't believe he took the 10k off Sophie. I think she's even more stupid for giving it to him.
I can't understand why she will just donate 10k to charity herself rather than handing it over
to Siavash and him doing it.
Some thing fishy going on there I think.

Imagine if it was reversed
e.g a black female artist won the award and some white prick artist  grabbed the mic off her hand while she was doing her acceptance speech, and telling everyone that the other female (who was white) in her category should have won.

Now imagine the outcry that would cause, probably much worse than the examples you have posted!!
Even though I am half black, I think that most black people think they have the right to be racist.

Kanye West is simply a prick. She is only 19 and new to the music industry, so the deluded slowpoke thought he had the right to belittle her in front of the whole world. And basically saying she should hand the award over to Beyonce.
Had Pink won the award instead, I would have liked to see him pull that stunt on her (or would he have dared to cosidering how scary she seems?).
