DSTV clones all the senators decoders. They have free access to all the channels from month to month Mtn/Glo and other networks recharge for each of them amount worth 100.000 naira for free every month to make calls. When they resume plenary you cannever hear any single senator stand up and speak against the reckless charges especially from network providers. You have to subscribe up to 9000 naira every month for you to be able to stay online everyday and nobody is talking about it. It’s time we take this to their doorsteps. If they cannot speak for us, one day we shall speak for ourselves The real corruption we are talking about is this. When those who can speak for you have their mouths sealed, why won’t DSTV and Network providers charge Nigerians the way they want Wonders |

produce the next president when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in 2023 - Shettima, who is the president of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum, says he current administration has not favoured the north - The AYCF president says the ruling All Progressives Congress will die before 2023 - Shettima says the north will never allow power to shift to the north, adding that it is the only thing the zone has The president of the Arewa Youth Consultative Forum (AYCF), Alhaji Yerima Shettima, has said that the north will produce the next president when President Muhammadu Buhari leaves office in 2023. Legit.ng gathers that Shettima stated this in an interview published in the New Telegraph on Friday, June 21. The AYCF president said President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration has not favoured the north, adding that the current government is purely a southwest government. READ ALSO: Major General Ezugwu assumes office as new DG of DICON He said: "I don’t know who is going to be the next president of Nigeria until we see those who will declare interest. However, talking about the zone, which should produce the president in 2023, I have said it on many occasions that the North will produce the next president and you could see that the issue is becoming very clear. "I don’t just make pronouncement on something I am not sure of. We are sure that this government has not favoured the North. This government is purely a South-West government. They have taken everything." Shettima also said that the only thing that is holding the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) together is President Buhari, adding that the party will die before 2023. He said: "Even in the National Assembly, somebody was working to ensure that his interest is protected to make it easy for him to become president come 2023, but unfortunately the party itself will die before 2023. "By 2023, All Progressives Congress (APC) will no longer be visible. The only thing that holds that party is President Buhari, but he is not coming back. This is his last tenure and I am sure the Buhari I know will be busy thinking of how to go for his retirement rather than thinking of whether the party survives or not. "He has achieved all he wanted to achieve. He has become both head of state and civilian president." "On what informed his belief that APC would die before 2023, he said: "It is because of the characters that formed the party do not share the same ideology. Theirs was completely unholy marriage. "We will continue to fight until our last blood. We will continue to expose them until the right people come to governance. It is not a personal thing; it is for us. The North must have to retain power. "You cannot take power, which is the only thing that is left for us now. The current president is not really helping us. Insecurity has destroyed the entire North. We are left with poverty, kidnaping and banditry on daily basis. "People are dying and you think the little power we have despite the fact it is not being used for the best interest of our people, we will just fold our hands and allowed it to be taken back by the South, which have resources. The common man in the North is not benefiting anything; the whole thing is held in the hands of few individuals and you think we will allow that." ENUGU- THE Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, MACBAN, has called for establishment of Fulani Youth Vigilante body in communities of the south east, to compliment its host community counterparts and other constituted security apparatus in the zone. ADVERTISING From Middle: The National President of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) flanked by the National Secretary, Alhaji Baba Ngelzarma, and other members of the association at a press briefing on the position of the association to stem farmers-herdsmen clashes in Abuja on Sunday. The cattle breeders made the request just as the South east Governors told them that nobody in the zone was against rearing of cattle but that it was paramount for everyone to understand that there are rules of engagement in every relationship, including that of herders and farmers. In the same vein, the Nigeria Police Service Commission, PSC, lampooned the yearly recruitment of 10,000 policemen, saying that it was a far cry from meeting the demand of police personnel that are in very shortage in the country. Kajuru killings: Miyetti Allah advises against reprisal attacks(Opens in a new browser tab) The security stakeholders made their remarks, Thursday, during the South east Security summit organized by South East Chambers of Commerce, Mines and Agriculture, SECCIMA, in collaboration with South East Governors Forum, SEGF, in Enugu. Speaking as it affects herdsmen, the National President of MACBAN, Alhaji Mohammadu Kirowa regretted that once insecurity was mentioned in Nigeria, the first idea that comes into minds was Fulani herdsmen. Represented by the National Secretary, Alhaji Baba Usman Ngelzerma, MACBAN noted that south east was a good host which was reason why it condemns all forms of violence and criminalities with its patrons such as the Sultan of Sokoto, the Emir of Kano and the Lamido of Adamawa. We’ll fish out kidnappers in Ondo, Miyetti Allah tells Akeredolu(Opens in a new browser tab) The group however said it wants an establishment of Fulani Youth Vigilante group, noting that “the Fulani Youth Vigilant body will be working with the security, the neighborhood watch or vigilante to ensure security in all communities, as it was done in Enugu state. “We will solicit for your support and cooperation in adopting dialogue where problems exist as a means of brokering peace and to report cases against our members to either the Fulani Youth Vigilante Group, state or local branch of the association,” Kirowa said. Chairman of the South East Governors Forum and Governor of Ebonyi state, Engr. Dave Umahi who was represented by his Deputy, Dr. Kelechi Igwe stated that the region cannot engage in policy of exclusion to limit any farmer or herder, but that rules of engagement should be observed in every relationship. Igwe said “We will continue to accommodate the Miyetti Allah but our plea to them is that as we are magnanimous to allow settlers, every community has a custom that need not to be violated. It is the violation that breeds problem. “I believe that at the end, resolutions will generate further national dialogue, promote agenda setting and a solution to the lingering national insecurity. All we need is the good idea of one or two men to find direction and I believe this summit will do that.” On its part, the Commissioner in charge of Human Rights in the Police Service Commission, Mr. Rommy Mom lamented the inadequacy of the Nigeria Police personnel, noting that today Nigeria boasts of under 350, 000 police officers. “This translates to 1.6 police officers to every 100,000 Nigerian, which is a far cry from the world standard of 225 police officers to every 100,000 people. In some local governments, you have less than 10 police officers. “Lack of data is a major challenge to the extent that even the Inspector general of Police is not very sure of the exact number of police officers under his command. Electronic data is very important,” Mon said. He also stated that it was high time Nigeria embraced the use of Information Communication Technology, ICT, and other equipment for policing the country. This is MCC by Ibok street. This drain is 1.2m deep by 0.8m wide. I don't and will not blame the government of the day totally for the volume of debris in the drains. I blame us. We have failed in playing our very little part. 1. Stop dumping refuse in drains. 2. Residents should move fallen tree branches and trees after cutting them to points storm water can't move them into drains. Especially if they don't have the resources to evacuate them. The milk is spilt. What is the way forward? I have had to walk around these zone( Ikot Efa, Parliamentary, Ibok Street, Effioette, MCC, Ikot Uduak, Akai Efa) during heavy rain and my deduction is that the flooding on Parliamentary road spreading into Ibok Street and MCC are partly because of these blocked drains during heavy rains. I plead with the government to look into this issue as this is a high brow area. The rainy season is gearing up. Let's safe face.
