I have a dorm (usd), Savings (ngn) & Current acct (ngn).
My dorm acct is where my Proof of Fund is domiciled.
My question is do i need to show my salary acct (which has no tangible balance) & other savings acct as a proof to steady flow of income or not required.

Cause i intend to only upload the Usd acct for the purpose of POF.

Pls advise

I just renewed my international passport and require the following clarifications:

1. Do I delete the old passport details on my cic acct and update with the new one or keep both.

2. Do I update oinp of the new passport details and upload blank pages (I have a nomination).

3. During ITA application my travel history is in my old passport details do I keep same and also share blank pages & data pages of my new passport?

Pls, advise.

Am getting ready for ITA.

However, will like to know of the 3 accredited hospital in Lagos, which is most efficient and responsive with the fastest upload of the medical report to CIC.

Also whats the procedure for scheduling appointment and the cost.

The police report can be gotten from Alagbon ikoyi, and whats the rate for that too and how long does it take.

Please, how can one make payment for the OINP $1500 processing fee? Can either of these banks ATM card suffice cause am aware the request is to use a credit card and as some of us don't have credit cards can the debit card suffice? How have people crossed this hurdle?

From my own understanding, if you don't meet up with the 67 cut off mark, you couldn't have successfully enter the EE pool from which OINP HCP nominate candidates.
I stand to be corrected.

You are correct. I did not calculate same properly.

am getting feedback on another trail that
until you meet any one of the program, you cant have an EE profile. So if you have an EE profile, you do meet either FSW or CEC correct?

Now am confused because am already in the EE pool and I received NOI but on calculating the FSWP score I had less than 68/100.

Can I proceed and apply for OINP HCP since I have received NOI from Ontario?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Saturi: 1:06pm On Jun 30, 2017
Guys,

Before applying for the OINP HCP stream please validate that you meet the FSW requirement of getting 67/100 as it seems people are soo in a hurry to apply without proper checking and $1k5 is not small money o so check before you commit and find out you are ineligible.

I personally realised that my FSWP score is 58 out of 67 hence will not likely be eligible to apply for this program although I received NOI from OINP.

Or have there been cases where NOI was received with FSWP scores less than 67 and they successfully applied and got a nomination from OINP?

Hello my people,... Ontario has started sending NOI for NOC'S in the IT sector, even with scores lower than 400 (The confirmed NOC's are 2171,2173,2174,2283 )..........Please for those below 400 and no hope of meeting the current crs draws, You can recreate your EE profiles to receive Ontario NOI

All the best!

Do you know anyone that this has happened to beforei mean getting an NOI with less than 400 especially when their website says 400

Canadavisa forum has an OINP thread and have never seen anyone share that they reciveed NOI with less than 400

You can Google the forum to see applicants processing timelines.not sure I'd nairaland has rules as regards posting URLs from other related blogs

I received same.

a profile in the pool with a score of 396 just got Ontario nomination notification.

isnt the cut off 400?

Yes it is. But applicant with CRS below 400 in targeted NOCs (IT related) are given OINP NOI. Now my question is this. What's the nomination chances of OINP vis-a-vis other PNP streams?

Have earlier applied to SINP EE (Saskatchewan) since Jan but no feedback hence is it worth pursuing OINP since i have received NOI from OINP and go ahead with the application or wait for SINP that have been awaiting feedback since Jan 2017 before committing $1,500 to OINP.

Anyone with idea of processing times for OINP post application submission?
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Saturi: 5:49pm On Jun 10, 2017
Hello All,

I entered the express entry pool in Dec 2016 and in Jan 2017 i applied for SINP EE but still awaiting nomination confirmation, but this evening i received a notification from CIC that ''We regret to inform you that you are no longer eligible to be in the pool. Check your messages below for details.''.

My questions are these:

1. What could have gone wrong after 6 months of being in the EE pool
2. Can i create another EE profile and inform SINP EE of the new EE profile number cause that's where all my correspondents with regards the SINP EE application go.
3. Has anybody experienced this before

Will appreciate feedbacks pls
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Saturi: 9:01pm On Jan 09, 2017
From my observation about SINP EE and OID application is the fact that one should be aware of the time when the province start accepting applications and one is able to submit successfully with an application ID. its all about consistent follow up on the site, right timing and a bit of luck.

My assumption is if one can submit SINP EE when open with the right application forms and all other required prerequisites are met then once is half way done and successful submission of the application can be considered a milestone in the application process. This is my opinion and am open to further advice.

However, anyone with an idea on when SINP EE will open again based on last year's trend.

By the way this application is for SINP. Will appreciate the team's feedback on this.

Hello House,

I have registered for Job bank with my assigned job seeker validation code and EE profile number but it's still showing ''pending'' in my express entry profile. What could be the reason for this.

Gymme:
The estimated time depends on which category of the province's PNP you applied under (paper based or Express entry). If EE, it's usually 6 months or less but if paper-based, it's about 15 months (not sure cos it changes).

After getting PNP certificate, single
After ITA, still single
Before submitting/completing PR application, status changes...
YES you can apply as married BUT when you include your partner in your application, your score/point will reduce.
But not to worry, since it is PNP and you got 600 more points, your point may not fall below the cut-off point used to get your ITA.

Does it mean she does not require ECA and IELTS to include her for PR application??

My employers have refused to address the employee reference letter to ''Whom it may concern'' and that they require an address to write the employee ref letter to.

Which address can i share with them to address the employee reference letter to.
Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Saturi: 5:57pm On Nov 10, 2016
dupyshoo:
There is no specific format. Just ensure the reference letter contains the following:
1. Letterhead and signature & name of HR/Manager/Supervisor
2. Your name
3. Office address
4. Job Title
5. Job responsibilities (This is very important. Your responsibilities must match 60% and above of the responsibilities written under your chosen NOC code)
6. Work start date
7. Salary
8. Contract Basis: Permanent/Temporary
9. Full time/Part time
10. Hours per week

So who do they address the letter to and can the same letter be used to apply for both EE and other Provincial Nominee Programs

Hence, does it mean she doesnt have to do ECA and IELTS? Just an update to notify sasks PN and IRCC during PNP application or PR or it is post application just need to have clarity.

dupyshoo:
You can include her anytime during the processing of either the PNP or your PR application.

The most important thing is to ensure you include her immediately you get married as you are required to notify both Sask PN and IRCC anytime your status changes. Do not delay in notifying them as it could be termed as misrepresentation

Travel / Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program Connect Here by Saturi: 12:30pm On Nov 02, 2016
Thanks @dupyshoo.

I am in a committed relationship and i intend migrating to Canada with my partner and i being the principal applicant intend to go through the PNP (Sasks) route because my NOC falls within the OID.

Hence since we are not married yet is it advisable for me to complete the application 1st and after i get nominated i should include her for my PR application or wait after i apply for PR then update CIC of the status change. In addition will she need to do ielts and ECA since i intend adding her as a dependency post nomination when applying for PR.

I do not quite agree with your reason for advising him against adding a spouse. As the letter clearly states, it was not because he included a spouse that he failed to meet requirements. He failed to meet requirements because after adding a spouse his CRS no longer met the points for which he was sent an ITA.
So, the advise should be that the intended applicant should re calculate his crs with his spouse included. This would mean having her degree evaluated and her ielts done. If with the addition of a spouse and claiming points for her education and language test, his crs still meets the minimum crs for the draw in which he received an ITA, then he shouldn't have a problem. A letter of explanation clearly stating his change of marital status should suffice.
If he no longer meets the minimum crs after the addition of a spouse then he should decline the ITA.

My question here is what if the applicant was nominated by a province and his CRS was in the league of 900 and above, does it mean he can easily add his spouse or other dependency without falling below the score that he got ITA.

Been using GTB and FCMB card but not going through. Pls help.

Am trying to make IQAS payment for my ECA but not going through, used both GTB and FCMB Master Debit Card.

My observation is, the payment method on the platform highlights credit cards/interac online and there is no option to select debit card as widely used here or is there something am missing.

Pls advise.

Hello All,

I currently work as an IT project manager with PMP certification and other IT related certifications. However, I realized my occupation falls under (NOC 1221 hopefully am correct) hence, i discovered from my research so far that it's not been in the occupation-demand list of SINP, NovaScotia, NewFoundland & NewBrunswick.

My question here is, does my NOC 1221 ever get updated for occupation in demand by any of the above-listed provinces which makes it eligible to apply for the PNP or if there are other provinces that require my NOC that I didn't mention above.

Your inputs will be appreciated.
