Is the ineffectual buffoon planning to defraud the Australian like he did with Nigeria? In sane societies, this clueless man would be in prison, spending the rest of his life atoning for the financial crimes committed against the Nigerian state. No matter how much he tries to repair his image, he will never be respected again Useless drunkard Nigeria will canonize you in future. They were in a hurry to see you leave as if Aso rock was their father heritage, in their 'bad bele' politics, they did not remember to define the change they wanted and, they got the change they never bargained for! No amount of hatred will change the sweetness of honey. Keep enjoying your deserved life in 'retirement' Sir. The Italians are playing a smart game. They were the first developed country to host the Iranian President after sanctions were lifted. They have signed bilateral trade agreements with Iran and also facilitated a lot of business cooperation and agreements between Iranian and Italian business men. They want to stop their dependence on Russian gas and oil. I reckon that is why they are in Nigeria as well. To take advantage of the low oil prices to sign a long term contract for oil supply. I hope that the Nigerian government does not give away oil at cheap prices because of desperation. 12 Likes |

Lalasticlala This deserves FP. @ Topic I feel both sides should sheath their swords, have a sit down and seek ways to achieve a common ground. When two elephants are fighting, it is the grass that suffers. Having said that, MTN has to really work on its public policy department. They have not handled this issue professionally. |

Most of these so called Men of God are just entrepreneurs taking advantage of the gullibility of Nigerians. I can never worship in a Church where the Pastor, GO, GS or whatever they are called has a private jet. That is no longer a man of God but a full time CEO of a business empire. They have now introduced bribery into their operations I still wonder why the government is not taxing churches and mosques. Any church earning more than N1 million a month should pay tax 2 Likes 1 Share |
Politics / Re: Buhari Speaks: How We Intend To Fund Nigeria’s N6 Trillion Budget by Saturn213: 3:46pm On Dec 27, 2015 |
The president makes a lot of sense. He restates his total commitment to restructure the economy and also restructure the composition of the ministries and departments. This is made clear in the quote below: It is generally believed that a fish begins to rot from the head; once the head is rotten, the whole body is also rotten. We have tried to remove all the heads of the organisations, and most of the lieutenants have been changed. This shows that the Buhari administration is methodically attending to the challenges facing the nation. It is going to take some time but the framework has been evidently instituted. May God continue to give him wisdom and the courage to move Nigeria forward. 146 Likes 6 Shares |
Politics / Re: Full Text Of Okonjo Iweala’s Letter Approving Sharing Of Abacha Loot By Dasuki by Saturn213: 9:06pm On Dec 09, 2015 |
To be fair, I don't see anything here that implicates the former Minister of Finance. Yes, we can speculate on the morality of handing such enormous amount of public funds for a project that has no clear accountability overview but in that letter, she clearly transferred culpability to the Ex-President GEJ. Remember that Ngozi is an experienced administrator and understands the importance and significance of paper trail. It is becoming clearer that GEJ was neck deep in these misallocation of resources. I am really surprised he has not been invited for questioning by the EFCC. Chukwudi44: There is nothing in that letter that suggests corruption either on the part of the NSA,GEJ or Dasuki!! It would only become corruption if it is eventually proved that the moies were released and the weapons were not procured!! Sir, The disbursement of funds is in violation of the Nigerian constitution Under the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2007, the President is not allowed to unilaterally approve such expenditure without consent from the National Assembly. GEJ did not consult the National assembly before authorizing the disbursement of public funds above stipulated thresholds. It has now come to light that, at least majority, maybe all of the disbursement was not used for the intended purpose. 14 Likes |

Only a heartless person will not get emotional watching this clip Nigerians have been raped and assaulted by the political class. I shed a few tears listening to that Motorcyclist . This report is not from SR before the Jonathanians start apportioning blame and lose focus of the message It is now obvious that we have documentary evidence of the culpability of Dasuki and Diezani and by extension GEJ Let us forget our division and rancor. Anybody that is against the war on corruption in Nigeria should really be ashamed of themselves. Lalasticlala, Mynd44 please share this with Nigerians 110 Likes 6 Shares |

zendy: Writing in bold does not make your point any stronger. It is very distracting. Just like a typical Ipob member, you keep talking from both sides of your mouth. You agree that any member can veto Biafra membership then you decided to degrade your argument by quoting a paragraph on decision making. Article 9 you referenced is qualified majority voting which is used in decision making on issues such as single market, directives etc. It is not applicable for admitting new member nations When it comes to a new entrant; All countries must agree. Nigeria will not agree and I am sure countries such as Benin Republic , Togo will do Nigeria's bidding. Anyway that is putting the cart before the horse. You keep making a comparison to Scotland but what you fail to realise is that the Scottish Independence movement is made up of intellectuals, academics and politicians. They provided evidence of how their country will be constituted if they got independence, from oil treaties with Norway, decommissioning of nuclear facilities. They had several bases covered before asking for independence. The Scottish people saw evidence of how their country will function if they leave the union. It is not like Ipod run by an illiterate that goes on radio calling for the massacre of Nigerians and calling Leaders names and asking for his supporters to murder a well know Nigerian Pastor. He was even caught on video asking for money to buy arms. This is an unprofessional illiterate with no common sense. The Scottish spent years trying to convince their people, they then formed a party - the SNP. After decades of campaigning, they got majority of political seats in the Scottish Parliament. Even after that, it took them years to convince the UK government to agree to a referendum. The whole process took over 50 years. It is a separation and not a tea party. When Igbos are serious, they will vote for a party that wants Biafra independence, they will make them senators, HORs and governors. After that they can negotiate with the Nigerian state for a referendum. You just dont wake up one morning and start shouting Referendum. It will take decades of negotiations and talks. 14 Likes 1 Share |

zendy: This is the stupidity of IPOB and their members You dont think things through. You are all shortsighted Go and read the ECOWAS rules. All member countries must agree to admit any additional member. So Nigeria has to sign and approve Biafra membership before they can be admitted. Any member can veto Biafra membership application. In case you are not aware, one of the major reasons why the Scottish referendum failed is because the EU could not guarantee their automatic membership of the body. The UK and Spain would have vetoed it straight away. Why do you think Turkey will probably never join the EU? Greece, Cyprus will rather die than allow it. You know what means, dont you? I will bet you dont! 18 Likes 1 Share |
