ezugegere: Boat transportation has come to stay in Lagos because of constant hold ups on the roads leading to the islands. Imagine spending 5 hours to move from CMS to Badagry whereby goiby boat will take less than 1hr 30min. The fare is N1500 and a steering boat would carry at least 15 passengers. Let's say he makes only 2 trips per day,, that's 30*1.5. Fuel and other things cannot be more than 12k. So giving you 15k should not be too much, right? These fibre boats are built in Lagos here. A steering boat would typically costs about N3m to build with the engine (Tokumbo 200HP Yamaha engine) With the registration with the union (about 150k) and other things, just budget N3.5m and you're good to go You already know a lot about boat business in Lagos. What then is the purpose of this thread? |

When you say "visitors" do you mean people who come to visit and then leave the same day or people who have spent upwards of 2 weeks at a stretch?
If at the beginning you gave him the impression it would be just you and your wife then later you flooded the house with squatters your landlord has every reason to ask you to leave because those additional people will stretch the facilities in the compound |

We have the right thing in place to recover anything There are different classes of insurance policies...simply saying that they are insured by Mansard does not necessarily mean that the company is genuine. Even the Yahoo-Yahoo boy down the street can insure his car with the biggest insurance company in Nigeria if he wants to; that does not necessarily make his Yahoo-Yahoo activities legitimate! |

BrabusNG: If he doesn’t know what to do his money, in order to turn it over and make more money, he’ll assume investing 200m in real estate is a waste of money.
If I have 200m, there are areas in Lekki that I’ll like to own a plot and flip within 2 years.
200m is nothing bro to what people are investing here. I knew plots of land that goes for billion of naira in VI, yet people are buying and recouping their investment.
For your information, banks will give you any amount to fund any project right now so it doesn’t mean most of these guys dole out their cash. Even Dangote is collecting loans to fund projects.
______
I think this is kobokobo world so some projects will seem like impossible to many of us. Come to skyscrapercity.com and see how architects are talking about million dollar projects funded by banks.
______
So you’re of the opinion, anyone who buy a 200m land in Nigeria is a thief Issokay! There is no bank anywhere that will give you a loan of N1billion just to buy hold and sell property except you can shoe you have a steady flow of income! |

Molahnelson: Crypto is the future financial transaction
People all over the world keying into it
they are about 8000 crypto and counting in coinmarketcap
Most of the company who works on does crypto are not from United States
Cryptocurrency will replace dollar in the next decade as a means of transaction
Adopt it now before it's too late That was how Bitcoin was selling for about 16kNGN in 2013, 8 years later is about 17 million ngn
People that buy it then are now smiling to the bank, why you are still being sceptical
By the next decade those who refused to buy it now or key into it now will regret not doing it. For your info about 95% of the 8,000 cryptos you referred to are just scrap and are completely useless! |

Shokoloko: Hopefully after this Covid nonsense, we are looking to train staff who will provide book-keeping and accounting services for potential clients in Canada. Since these activities can be done off site, I am thinking of having Nigerians trained and performing these tasks.
This is the source of my confusion: I am only looking to employ single mothers, and widows with young/teenage kids as a means of helping them economically and believing that they will be happy to have a job that they can perform from home (I believe that this will reduce staff turnover). I have tried to do some research to find out if there are legal implications of employing only these sets of people.
Please I need non- emotional responses with links to sources if there is a legal implication of that. Thank in advance
Note: I am aware that a lot of women do not work well with others but this risk is already mitigated by the fact that they will be working in their own homes and probably attend a zoom meeting bi-monthly. Do you plan to run the company here in Nigeria or in Canada? If you are in Canada you could be sued for discrimination if you employ only from a particular demography |

Investment › Re: Advice To Gamblers by SavageResponse(m): 6:08pm On Jan 18, 2021 |
Ajala99: I didn't have a job last year, but I gambled away an average of #10,000 weekly. During the first week of December, I went through my betting app( sporty) and when I saw my losses from gambling, i knew I had a huge problem. In the bid to earn money, I ended up enriching betting companies.
This new year I decided to quit gambling and find another way of earning money. Well, so far it's proving to be a success. It has been difficult staying entirely away from gambling because being around fellow gamblers whose discussion always revolves around best odds, and you know how enticing that can be to a perpetual gambler like me.
So here is the success story, a friend told me about insme, I was a bit skeptical about it. I went online did a bit of research, came on nairaland-saw success stories, became convinced and I joined last week. Subscribed to the 60k package and today I made my second withdrawal. Man, I've made 23k in a week and in the next two weeks I would've gotten back my capital. I would continue getting this for the next 8 weeks. And I've lost only #3,000 to gambling this year, the goal is to stop completely.
This epistle is both a way to help gamblers or anyone earn a side income and a way to increase my earning on insme, cause bringing people increases my daily earnings lol. So, it's a win win for everybody.Pm or email if you want to join & know more on how it works.
Funny story, after I loose each bet i take my frustration out on learning the French language. Et après huit mois, je suis fier de vous dire que je suis presque francophone...hahahaha
Now that i'm giving up gambling, where will the motivation come from ?! hmmmmm INSME...what?! These things are like zombies, as soon as one crashes 5 new ones replace it! |

Prost1948: Stop Loss is very important in the Forex market. You need more than luck to succeed in affiliate business. If stop loss is on, there is less chance of loss by trading in the Forex market. Forex is, therefore, best used in stop-loss trading if you want to succeed in the Forex market. Ayamnotunderstanding |

sircrabo: MBA Forex paid and is still paying people today. That they had a little glitch doesn't mean it is over for the company. When you visit an ATM to withdraw and the machine Isn't dispensing, does it mean the Bank has Collapsed?
Nigerians Panic too much panic kills investment businesses.
MBA business model is still intact andthe Forex market is still open to them. If any investor still fels bad about the delayed payment, rememberthe times you were paid without excuses.
I don't invest or work with them, but I understand what they went through. They suffered a draw down and need a little time to recover. We (forex traders) all experience such at one point in our trading careers.
If you don't understand, Pls ask questions and stop causing Panic Let's be clear about one thing - MBA Forex was never actually trading and making money from forex, it was just a glorified Ponzi scheme! |
