Jobs/Vacancies › Re: An Employer Asking Applicant About His Salary In His Previous Work.is It Right? by SavageResponse(m): 6:53am On Jan 13, 2021 |
Yustash001: Good evening Nairalanders,
I went for an interview yesterday and among questions that was ask in the written interview is "How much was your salary in the previous school where you worked?". I wrote " it's confidential " because I thought it isn't formal to be asking such question in an interview.
So, during the oral interview, they asked while I didn't write the amount, I told them I don't want to disclose it and I don't think it's formal. I decided not to argue it further when the principal said it's formal, even though I didn't disclose the amount in the end. So, my people, have you ever experienced such? And is it formal to ask applicants of the exact amount they receive as salary in the organisation where they formerly work?
Please help push it to the front page... It's a normal question to ask and there is nothing wrong in answering but it's mostly small companies that do it. It is not likely that a multinational company will ask you about your previous salary, they are more likely to ask about your salary expectations |

delishpot: Just Imagine sha. If na common man talk this one, dem for flog am sha. Religious laws are strictly applied for the poor
Riyadh | The public display by American rapper Kanye West of his financial difficulties has brought him an unexpected offer from Saudi King Salman’s youthful son and heir, Prince Mohammed: $10 million for the opportunity to spend one night with his wife, reality television star, Kim Kardashian. Kanye West created a worldwide commotion in February, by bashfully announcing on Twitter that he was $53 million in personal debt. The impecuniousness, he noted, was the result of following his dreams in the fashion industry.
The self-designated “greatest artist of all times” publicly solicited the help of Mark Zuckerberg, whom he asked for $1 billion to keep making art. He also said he would be willing to accept money from Google’s Larry Page or any other rich benefactor.
No billionaire has answered his plea yet, but the Philadelphia Police has extended a helping hand and offered him a job as a police officer. The Saudi Defence Minister, Prince Mohamad Bin Salman, made a controversial offer yesterday, during a press conference, that could solve Kanye West’s money problems,
The powerful prince, who has an estimated wealth of more than a billion dollars, offered to pay the rapper $10M to spend one night with his wife.
“I have no interest whatsoever in his music or his clothing,” Prince Mohamad told reporters, “but his wife, she is a treasure of inestimable value. I would gladly pay $10M or even more to spend one night with her.”

Chizillar1: What is the purpose of this thread? I laugh at all of you. What is making you think Chymall is going down? Your all ignorance and stupidity is shambolic. You talk about upgrade and loan repayment. Some members with team has completed their loan and now earning like previously on a higher package. I only have 40 points and hopefully this coming week, I clear and continue earning as before. Many of you have cashed out left and consistently for more than a year. Now, management has said, ok, let's do bigger business guys and kind enough to give you loan without any interest so we can enjoy longer term. Now they are scam. After they have survived you all through the Pandemic and yet no elementary of gratefulness, trust and patient. If you can't stand the heat, please leave the kitchen. Yes, leave the kitchen for those who understand company vision and long term goals. CHY mall is getting listed in Hong Kong Stock exchange this year and company has big plan for it's members. It get listed and traded just like Apple, Facebook, Amazon, pinduoduo etc and bigger investors will trade it's shares. Have you asked yourselves the purpose of the boutique points in your account you are accumulating? If you are still in doubt, head over to YouTube and type CHY CEO Ben Chah interviews. After watching and listening, you will think twice before posting rubbish about global firm in this noble forum. Who fed you these lies you're spreading here?! |

Bitcoin is a store of value and has come to stay...no government need to stop it....they only thing that will stop it is if they world stops using the internet... Yes I agree - Bitcoin is a store of value. It has not been recognised as legal tender in any country but part of the reasons why it's value is appreciating is because people are peddling falsehood that China and some other large economies are gearing up to adopt it as legal tender in the coming months |

AccessME: About a week ago a post was shared on Nairaland precisely on Dec 31st, a guy posted on how to trade bitcoin and make 20-50k monthly profit from it using binance platform but all of a sudden the thread is no where to be found.
I red it then but I didn't graps fully due to the fact that I was not financially buoyant to start the hustle then, The mistake I made was not saving the post or craming the OPs moniker. Now that i have go look for money, load my ATM card and coming to check back to see how I can follow the OPs steps, I couldn't see the post anymore. chai.
I don't know why they would choose to delete a thread that would assist people in earning a living online it's so unfair.
Please anyone who saved the post who knows how I can reach the guy who shared it should please share with me. I promise to reward that person. Thanks! The mods probably deleted the thread cos they believed it's a potential scam thread |

Aconomist: I am an economic analyst in the United States. Do you think I lack money? It's not about jealousy. I want Nigeria to improve, and Dangote's monopolistic behavior is a big hinderance to the economy.
Also, you are the same nigger-areans who get mad when people abroad ignore your calls begging for money every day. Now you want to form authority on the internet. This is why I say, most Nigerians are monkeys who worship their oppressors and deserved to be oppressed. Continue suffering and smiling. Aconomist: You are just another educated illiterate: 10 certificates and 0 common sense. How much is Dangote paying you to defend the indefensible? Why shouldn't I talk down to a nation full of illiterates and monkeys? While every other county is moving forward, Nigerians are stuck on hero worship and stupidity. You suck the butts of your oppressor's than you are surprised when your country is a complete zoo.
Wetin you dey lose if I hold Dangote accountable for his destructive monopoly? The man is literally bribing the Nigerian government for special concessions, you dumbass Nigerian ape. For someone who claims to be a professional you clearly lack polish! The fact that you live as a second class citizen in the US flipping burgers in MacDonald's for a living does not make you better than Nigerians who live here in Nigeria. |
