Kickkick:Only those not earning up to that will say you are wasteful. I get that much monthly but I am also broke. I don't even womanize, keep friends, go clubbing or drink yet I am always broke. So since last year I device a means to force me to save by all means. I don start ajor, so once the money comes 60% goes into ajor by force. I having been surviving on 40% of my income and how I adjusted to it is what surprises me. E no dey be say E no dey cos ajor pple no go hear story and when the money is paid back it comes to me in bulk which I use to do meaningful stuffs |
proeast:You spent time writing epistles and ended by saying a wise person who thinks deep should know what to do but I doubt you are a deep thinker because if you are you wouldn't have countered my opinion or reasons I have for not fancying Japa. First of all, before one travels he must be certain about the contacts he has over there that will serve as a support system to enable him integrate easily. Do you think money falls on trees in abroad? Or if I travel without a proper support system do you think I will integrate quickly? My friends over there will be my support system when I go there and if they are not doing well or yet to settle in the country, do you think they will be willing to add to their problem? Your sister you said worked in the airport and obviously must have built contacts and relationships that made her move and integrated easily. If you like japa without having someone over there to hold your hands you will learn the hardway |
I used to have desire to japa when my two of my friends and some course mates moved to UK and US then some neighbors relocated to Canada, Australia, Finland etc. I felt the need to move too but last year I noticed that those that travelled are not doing too well. They send nothing home, in committee of friends fund raising groups they barely send more than 10k and these were guys that I know love show off Three of them that are very close to me one in UK, two others in Canada always tell me about their struggles. Sometimes when we talk, 11pm they will tell me that they are at work doing night shifts, any time you call, they are working. These were guys doing well in Nigeria, like I know they make 800-1m in Nigeria. Their businesses were doing fine, they had workers and car. The other friend in Australia had a good job atleast I know but hearing them talk about going to sweep people's home, going to care for old people, working in factories, working late at night discouraged me. It's been 4yrs one of them traveled (UK) but he is yet to settle. I don't want a life of work work work and then at old age what I have only is maybe a rental house that I built because I have observed some people that traveled abroad for greener pastures what they really have to show for it is the house they built in the village or town. I am not doing too bad in naija and I believe in 2yrs time I should commence my building project |
Tutsis have a right to live and defend themselves. |
That's how those isese believers go about bullying and flogging people on the road. Well deserved by fans of another abusive and violent faith |
light101:Samsung S21 ultra or S21 FE I bought iPhone 12 pro early last year because my business demands good quality pictures but I wasn't feeling the camera of that phone so I had to sell it. December last year I had limited budget so had to settle for American used Samsung S1 FE because I didn't have much on me to get my desired S22 Ultra. That phone is magical. From the camera to the everything. I went out with some friends on 1st of January. One of us had an iPhone 14 pro while another was using iPhone 12 pro Max but everyone decided to use my Samsung S21 FE for as camera because they claimed it was sharper and clearer than the others. |
64kent:They have billed me like 5 times o |
marlow1962:I am a single guy and I make approximately the amount he quoted I do not party I am not fashionable I do not womanize I only goto work and come back Send my mom her weekly upkeep and assist my fiancée Yet I struggle to have a reasonable savings by end of the year So what will you say about that? |
Cheating is common with men in every aspects Most ladies (except for the loosed ones) tend to stick to one man so long as he treats her right and meets her needs. Body count is a big issue for women because of how society made it their problem but overlooks that of men. So except she is loosed and the man treats her with disregard most women will stick to one man but on the flip side, a man can have a loyal, beautiful and decent girl that meets her needs but will be easily influenced by friends and life's choice to have a quick fling outside |
Mad people Eastern federal roads are in terrible conditions and this one is talking about what I don't know. Better pull off that isi agu and red cap |
They are mad How can small chicken be selling for 30-40k? They all stocked up hoping to reap off Nigerians but it backfired. Shebi full chicken barbecue boys grill in clubs and road side is 7,500 - 8k but those selling live fowl are calling their's 40k. I got big sized catfish like 5 for 5k a week to Xmas and we prepared a huge pot of catfish pepper soup for Xmas and new year |
I think he was being stifled I had same experience. I was in partnership with a friend who was both the boss, CEO and everything. Hiding money and getting the bulk of everything. I valued our friendship more than the money so I overlooked the excesses and just did my job but one night while praying the Lord told me that if I do not break out of this friend, I will never be successful. I was scared of leaving so I don't offend him and of a truth I was comfortable with the little I was getting. Then a month later, I heard same voice but this time more intense and personal. After much thinking I broke away from my friend. It wasn't easy cos I tried to make it peaceful but exit always hurts. Fast forward to a year later I made 5 times all I have ever made in partnership with my friend. So sometimes you have to leave for you to discover purpose |
SimpleGuy001:Hahahaha. Next year is the code, the innocent girl is the one posting me |
BabaO2:It's obvious they are coming there soon. If you observed those holo regions (quadrangle) by the sides of the bridge have been cleared with all the shanties destroyed. I believe they will build a parking stations there for the buses to load then decend on those people selling on the bridge |
Somethings are inevitable but over the years I have learnt to calf out a lifestyle for myself. In 2009 after my secondary school graduation we organized a beach party and all went, on our way back some persons were drunk, even the drive. He was driving very rough and the car somersaulted on high way. Luckily nobody died but some persons had terrible injuries while many were admitted. I came out of that vehicle unscathe and since that experience I set rules for myself. 1. When I go out for a party (beach, wedding etc) with a group, I don't come back with them. I usually book a ride home or take a public bus and the reason is because there is a high chance that they may get drunk again and drive anyhow 2. I set my rules. When I go out with friends for a party, I make sure I am the first to leave. Most times I leave before 8pm so I can get home on time and relax because many atimes, fight or evil happening occur when most people are either drunk or high before U know a fight make break out or on their way back they may do something silly 3. I don't go out with party freak guys that drives. If you are driving, be sure I will drive behind you or take another car. 4. A learner driving a V6 or V8 engine car is a big NO for me, I will never sit in such a car and allow you to drive me because sometimes you can get carried away by the speed . That's why most learners easily get accident because they go for Benz or lexus with V6 engines and when they get drunk they drive anyhow |
Only a world war or civil war against my people will make me join the military |
Are they not the same professors that work as Returning Officers during elections and help politicians to rig election? May they suffer for 600yrs |
MrBrownJay1:First she is the only online friend have met with in person Secondly, I invited her over because we've been talking for long and she is no stranger to my fiancee who trust what I can do Thirdly, some friendship goes beyond sex, I saw no reason hiding anything or going out secretly when I didn't have anything special with her Lastly, no she wasn't coming to my house for food alone because she has never begged for anything before like some ladies do. I do not want to go into details but they had it tough then because of some issues on ground |
A lady I met online came to visit me and after eating what I prepared she pleaded I gave her some to take home for her family to eat. Luckily I cooked enough and gave her all to take to them. She was grateful. Next time she came, my fiancée was around, we stayed and gisted, after eating I thought she wasn't going to ask because of my fiancée's presence but she jokingly pleaded and my fiancée dished some for her to take home. I loved her courage and originality. She is a brave girl |

I love what Tinubu is doing. Making mockery of Yorubas. Desecrating their cultural heritage by mixing it with politics. He is painting a picture that Yorubas cannot be trusted. After Tinubu, it will be very very hard for another Yoruba man to ascend that exalted position |
That man s the curse happening to Yoruba people but when they realize will be after his death because for now some of them are busy defending him while the few that speak out are victimized. I remember growing up, Yorubas used to top in all cadre of education whether JAMB, waec, neco etc you will find south west at the top. Ekiti prided itself as the state with most professors. Awolowo invested so much to educate his people and he achieved that because when a Yoruba man speaks, other region sit down to listen and gain knowledge but fast forward to today one dirty criminal spoilt everything with his agbero mentality He moved south west from class room to the streets looking for owo da The tree money from thuggery discouraged them from going to school. Now they get high on drug, look haggered with smelly mouths, red eyes chasing after buses under sun and rain for owoda then when they get to 40 they become weak and mostly die. Some run mad while many become homeless sleeping on the streets. The madness is now extending to the ladies. I know you will want to argue but open your eyes and see that your youths are drowning in mystery brought upon them by one man. His children are living large while youths in his region are dying on drugs and many getting crushed by the vehicles they chase. Now even northerners mock them. Just sit down with a malam and talk about Yoruba , relax and listen to how he insults them, call them lazy and mum with amusement in his face. South West wake up and see that your youths are being destroyed |
Even if Russian govt is not aware, this latest happenings will arouse their curiosity about the prospect of establishing a footing in Nigeria. First time Russians got involved in Nigeria was as soviet union when they sold weapons to Gowon to execute his war after Britain hesitated. Feared that Russia was going to establish her influence in oil rich Nigeria propelled Britain and her allies into the war by backing her former colony against secessionist Since that even Soviet Union (Russia) backed out of Nigeria and has never intervened. Now with the new high level of geopolitics playing out and the ongoing Ukraine war, Russia feels the West is over stepping their boundaries and claiming former Soviet Union territories and allies and dragging them into NATO (Ascension of Finland). Nigeria is too important for the West to lose. Having made in roads into former french colonies like Boukina Faso, Mali and Niger, taking a foot hold on Britain's pride in Africa is a temptation that is to enticing for president Putin to ignore. Russia uses her natural gas reserve and oil as a tool of war against the West and recently they've moved their attention towards Nigeria to get cheap natural gas as a substitute for Russian gas. Tinubu once boasted about wanting to compete with Russia in Europe to build a replica of Nord Stream II pipeline from Nigeria to Europe and if thay succeeds will relief Europe from Russian gas a bit there by reducing Putin's hold to Europe. These protesters with Russian flag is of good interest to Putin. I bet he will sit back and observe how hungry the people want a change, if he sees the persistence cut across the country he will fuel more protests and chants for Russian intervention by using some elements of Nigeriens to join the protest, make it bloody and initiate a coup. That will be a very big blow to UK and France plus United States |
Her songs take me to bend every night. I sleep with it till dawn. Enya, Jim reeves, don Williams, Kenny Rogers, dolly parton, Michael Bubble these guys are the bomb |
yoruboid:Most killings in SW are usually caused by Ritual killings either for money or religious purposes. Have you forgotten that SW is the home of skull miners? An average SW human whether youth or old is a Christian or a Muslim with charms by the side. Too lazy to work many resort in robbery or ritual killings Call a spade a spade and stop blaming others for your crimes |
Men saying trash. Growth is constant and not every flashy lady has been sleeping around or into hook up. Me as a guy, I have my 100Level pictures with that of my friends both male and female from one 100L to 500L There was massive changes in us. We came as boys/girls but left all swollen and classy despite the hunger and hardship we faced in school then. Been 9yrs since my graduation and we still post our first year and final year pictures and laugh over it. |
BigDawsNet:My brother I am trying |
People abroad are going through alot. A friend of mine that sold his car to travel abroad is there and contemplating suicide. In the UK he said it is not the way they told him. He is unable to get a job and Is being catered for by a stranger. man comes to my DM to cry everyday but I keep encouraging him to stay and don't come back because back home we sef are going through hell. In his words " I don't think any hell can be compared to what we face here. Atleast in Nigeria I have siblings and uncles that can accommodate me but over here without a job, I am depressed and suicidal with no support system" He is a fighter and I know he will come out of it strong. |
hilaryitobore:It's not a wrong accusation. I actually came here cos I have been experiencing it since last month. I sub 5k and it used to carry me for a month and there will be excess. I had to connect my fiancee to it and we don't even finish it but recently since last month I noticed that 5k now barely takes us a week. Within 3days it is exhausted. I thought my fiancée was the one draining it so I had to remove her and was using it alone still max it lasts is 3days. I don't do anything intensive. Just to respond to WhatsApp messages from my clients that's all. Worse is that the airtime bonus dey give which is supposed to last 7days is still there and I have bought data twice. Yesterday night my data got exhausted and I did a 3k subscription for 14gb. I subbed and slept off turning off my data only for me to get a message that I have 1gb remaining. Something is not right |
Ebubu2:Shut up. You guys will just pick phone to type nonsense. Lagos igbo is synonymous to London igbo, American igbo, etc. Because they are not based abroad and holding their igbo day celebration that is why you have guts to type rubbish. Common sense should teach you that events like this is what preserve and spread cultures outside their place of origin. Get sense |
Same reason why I opted for a normal TV and avoided spending unnecessarily for something I may never get to use. I am not a TV person, my partner isn't a TV person either. We both go out and come back at night. As a matter of fact that TV has been off for over 3months nobody bothers to on it , I wonder if it is still working sef I bought it brand new last year from fuoani stores. A 55" tv. I saw smart TV but asked myself if I needed it, I told myself no and went for the one I got. Today, TV is useless just hanging there as decoration |
