Food / Re: “yorubas Cook Jollof Rice Better Than Igbos” - Nigerian Man Says by savvytouch(f): 6:11am On Aug 28, 2018
Nna talk true, Igbos no sabi cook correct party Jollof rice wey dey burst brain plus that kain peppery stew wey go make am enter well well ehn,

Anyway I forgive you, bring plate make we chop rice.

Probz:

That’s not exactly true though is it. Jellof rice has been cooked in Igboland since time immemorial. And mai-mai.

The rest of Nigeria know these things as jollof rice and moin-moin through the Yorubas. But jellof rice and mai-mai are as Igbotic as food comes.

Stay in your Yoruba lane when it comes to shared foods.

Why don't you go for one of those simple but tasteful Indian dressing gowns? They cover you up while accentuating your curves in the right places so you can look classy and semi sexy at the same time. And if she complains about that of all dresses then at least you would finally be aware of some east coast west coast beef that may have your name on it no matter what.....

Hmm, which specie of beans fo you use; drum or honey beans. Either way have you tried using a pressure cooker/pot? It is so much faster. Plus you can try honey beans specie it cooks faster than drum.

Education / Re: DIRECT ENTRY Admission. by savvytouch(f): 8:17am On Mar 17, 2017
Knownpal:

See dear ehn

Regularization is a process by which student that don't have JAMB registration number are given. That should be the simplest.

Okay the long explanation
If you attended a Poly, or College of Education of in fact some Universities and JAMB didn't not have your data that you went to that school, you need to regularize and tell jamb that you really went to that school or you are in that school.

Now most people don't know this until they want to apply for DE or go for NYSC. And jamb will ask of their former JAMB registration number which they used to enter their former institution. Some will claim that they have it and when they input it, JAMB can't find that data simply because the school we went to didn't give jamb any update on the students they admitted. So you need to regularize, pay jamb, take the print out from jamb to your school, the school vet it then send it back to jamb, then jamb will activate you.

You now use the new pin for your DE processing.
thank you very much, i really appreciate it, i didn't have that problem while going for nysc, but i intend to do a direct entry course, so do i just chill till the form is out?

Things You Must Take To NYSC Camp (October 2015) | Prospective Corp Members Jump In

ShareTweet+ 1Mail
Heeding the Clarion Call? Heading to NYSC Orientation Camp? Here is a comprehensive list of things you need to take to camp. aka “NYSC camp requirements” Included are some HOT TIPS! And to the prospective Batch B corp Members, welcome in advance.

The list is divided into three. Part 1 are the offical NYSC requirements. Without them, don’t even think of getting into camp. Part 2 are also essentials but not for everyone. Part 3 is what’s essential to your day-to-day life on camp.

PART 1:
Official NYSC Camp Registration Requirements:

1. CALL UP LETTER: This is a vital part of camp registration and the only evidence that you are a prospective corps member (colloq. Corper, or Otondo) and you are not impersonating anyone. This will be taken from (an orginal copy printed from the portal) and not returned to you. So if at all you even forget you luggage never forget this.

Tip: DO NOT LAMINATE IT! And keep it like its your life. I know someone who was sent back because she forgot hers. Also someone who had to beg and beg before his letter was collected because he laminated his own copy. This also applies to all other documents you will tender on camp. So please avoid all these stress and make enough copies of this letter.

2. Registration Documents: If you’re a foreign graduate, take along the original credentials you uploaded (to the NYSC Portal) for physical verification / evaluation. >> The List here. Also take along your international passport and other documents you deem necessary.

3. Green Card: It contains your bio-data. Print and bring along your signed copy.
4. Final Year Student IDENTITY CARD
5. Notification/STATEMENT OF RESULT from School (Original)

6. PHOTOCOPIES OF YOUR DOCUMENTS: While going to camp, i took about 10 copies each. However, most of the processes during camp registration have been computerised and you may not need more than five copies each. If you need more, there are photocopy shops at the camp’s mammy market.

7. PASSPORT PHOTOGRAPHS: This is very important. In the days of old, you may need as much as 20. As of the last batch in May/June, most registrations on camp have been computerised and you may not need more than 5-8. Please note also that NYSC now requires passport photographs with white background.

8. My CLEAR BAG: You’ll need to put the aforementioned in a portable envelope/bag that can withstand some amount of wear/tear. Hence, My Clear Bag.

Tip: The forms that will be handed to you are very easy to fill. Attach your passport where necessary and fill them correctly. During the course of your registration, you will be issued your State Code. Your state Code is what identifies you during the course of the service year and is enough to get every info about you. In most states, the last number of your state code determines the platoon you will fall into during camp.

PART 2:

9. CERTIFICATES/LICENSES: For Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses & Lab Scientists, take along your proof of certification. Graduates of Medicine and Pharmacy are expected to have their Certificates of Registration with Nigerian Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (NMDCN) and Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) respectively. These particular set of people are the ‘camp gods’. They are practically free to miss most of the events on camp as they like cos of their ‘fake’ commitments at the camp clinic.

10. STATIONERY: PEN, PAPER, GUM. Yeah this saves time and lots of unnecessary begging.

Tip: Some camps do seize staplers at the gate during check-in. But do not forget to include pins in your stapler if you still decide to take it along.

You will be given a meal ticket that gives you access to the Camp kitchen for the 21 days. Lose it and you have to feed yourself. Even if you do not intend to use it, you will come across someone who would appreciate the kind gesture. And also, the meal ticket may be required to get your Trans
pls do they also require original waec/neco certificates, JAMB admission letter and JAMB result. Thank you.
