maclatunji: This thread is just hilarious. OAM4J's analysis is up there. Let me just add:

1. Nobody with Mukina2's job can please everybody, that includes Seun as well.

2. She really does make an effort to make it interesting for Nairalanders (so give her some credit).

3. Most Nairalanders love controversial topics and will leave the most "cerebral" topics to die a sad and ignominious death even with front page exposure.

4. Nairaland has new moderators in some hitherto passive sections that have ideas that will mature over time, I am sure that will be reflected on front page soon.

5. If your favourite topic has appeared in its appropriate section and has gotten decent viewership and feedback, you might want to be content with that. Front page brings the good, the bad and the terrible to a thread if you know what I mean.

6. Some of us that complain so much can become our own "Mukina2", there is a diaries section in Nairaland. If your posts are interesting enough I am sure people will flock there by themselves after a few visits. Otherwise, setup your own blog, Facebook page/group or website. It is a free world.

7. Mukina2, do some more research and seek continuous improvement in your work.

8. Have a nice day or whatever is left of it.

Hi Doc in the house,preferably a Pediatric,
kindly provide me with an explanation or advice on what to do.

I have a 5 years old boy and he complains of heavy pains around the naval region.This has become an embarrassment to me and wify,that we cannot get help for this little boy whenever the pains comes.
Doctors have been visited with different test ranging from x-ray to blood test but the treatment regimen could not solve this problem.They keep given the guy all sorts of anti-bio tics and the pains goes for a while and comes back if he has fever and he cries alot during this period.A traditional drug has been used but the pains still comes back after a while.
Please any kind advice or test to be performed will be appreciated.
