agadez007: igbos are not Muslims We don’t need to help you site the moon,Hausa/Fulani brought islam to you Yorubas that why you revere them like gods
I don't think Yoruba are afraid of the North because they're their Islam masters. It could be the psychological effect of losing part of Yorubaland (Ilorin) to the Fulani invaders from the North. It simply made them pacifists when dealing with the North. It's the same fear that cause them to accuse Igbo of trying to take Lagos from them through economic domination. Do you really balme them? They say when you're bitten by a snake, you'd be scares of earthworm.
agadez007: Yoruba Muslims fear Hausa people very well and won’t utter any nonsense to them else Aboki won’t site the moon for them anymore as they can’t site the moon themselves
Those people and cowardice
So they insult Igbo because Igbo don't know how to see noon eh?
Princessstee: Did he mention that he won the election or call on interim govt... You all have dead brains, thats why someone that is as foolish as Peter obi can control you.
I thought about it and concluded that the black people of Africa are the most selfish people on earth.
Imagine politicians stealing all the money meant to develop their countries unchallenged. Do you know why? If the thieving politician is challenged, his tribesmen who are among those he has empoverished through theft of commonwealth would defend him because he is one of (us). The idiocy extends all the way because the same politician would be considered a fool by his people if he doesn't steal enough for a thousand generation. African blacks.
It is the same selfishness of the backs in Africa that made them sell their sons and daughters as slaves on a commercial level to the Europeans for 400 years with nothing to show for it. It's just as if blacks are not even mammals talk less primates. Isn't it mammals that we were taught that protect their young?
Which other race would sell their young or kill them enmass like the blacks in Africa? Think of the hundreds that die every month risking their lives to escape the land of black people that swallows its inhabitants. Today, dozens may have been killed in Kogi but it's not even making headlines. Why should it in a country where young people could be shot for asking for the right thing to be done.
Selfishness and the black African are Siamese twins. It is the same reason why professors are collecting money to rig elections for APC and PDP or any other party big enough to steal enough to buy them. Even if herdsmen and Boko Haram or even Unknown Gunmen would wipe away all the people in the village of those professors selling the country, their consolation would be that at least, they and their families are 'safe' That's how selfish the average black African is.
Have you noticed that the North African Arabs seem to be getting their acts together? With what is happening in Nigeria, you can see how the innate selfishness of the African black is playing out. People in power don't care about their countrymen. These same people doing nonsense in APC were the same people who complained that the military oppressed them. Have they proven to be any better than their oppressors by rigging elections? Politicians in black African countries must grab power because it's all about them. The rigging professors and judges must also get their share. The rest of you may go to hell for all they care. Selfishness. Are you aware that is our problem?
mightyhaze: forget politics.. u sef check am. Even u wen be ordinary peson if them bug your phone for like 2 months ,u know the Kain things wen go come out. But look all that was come up with.. even with all the cuts joins and edits.. still a harmless convo. Can we bug bat own for a day and see what gives?
Be truthful to yourself
You wan cause wahala...that one would be nuclear war
richmond500: zenith of humanity ni, zenith of animality ko.
Ona don start, this is how u all present Obi to be Jesus Christ of our time and now that salacious call with Oyedepo is blown out of proportion and has made it look like he is the devil that wants to destroy our democracy.
You Obidients are the worst enemies to Obi's career
AdesegunSanni89: Obi’s political ambition in Nigeria is over forever. Obidients can keep fooling themselves for all we care. Obi’s ambition has been buried forever. All that he will ever be is presidential candidate
Pierocash: Don't mention anything Igbo with success. Some tribes here on Nairaland do have cardiac arrest each time that name "Igbo" is mentioned along side success
Hahahaha...you know them. Demonizing Ndigbo gives them joy. Na envy sha. Nlfpmod Seun
In Nigeria, colonialism started with slave trade which began around 15th century. This didn’t spare anybody, as many Nigerians and other Africans were sold to different first class countries of the world. In the course of serving their masters some of them were subjected to change of names and many other things that were at odds to their personal wishes.
Despite the hard labour and ill-treatment that the slaves were being subjected to, many of them eventually became prominent persons in the world. Like bishop Ajayi Crowther and the rest.
John Roye the father of Edward James Roye, was one of those sold to American slave trader. John Roye, was an Igbo slave in Ohio, America who later gained his freedom and became an illustrious merchant with considerable wealth and land in many cities.
His son Edward James Roye has been celebrated as the first pure black person to become president of Liberia, Roye was a “pure descendant of the Igbo tribe from Nigeria”.
Edward, is noted in Nigeria as the first recorded lawyer of Igbo descent in history. In Liberia, however, Edward James Roye is well-known as the country’s fifth president whose administration was short-lived and who died under rather mysterious circumstances.
Between 1870 and 1871, Edward James Roye served as Liberia's fifth president before being overthrown.
In Newark, Ohio, Roye, an Igbo descended person, was born into a thriving African American family. In Terre Haute, Indiana, his father, John Roye, was in charge of a ferry that crossed the Wabash River.
Later, Edward bought a sizable amount of land in both Terre Haute and Vandalia in neighboring Illinois. He relocated to Terre Haute after his father passed away, opening the biggest barbershop in the area with the tallest barber pole in western Indiana.
Roye was officially sworn in as Liberia's president on January 3, 1870. The nation was experiencing political unrest when Roye took office, which was made worse by a financial crisis. Roye gave William Spencer Anderson, Speaker of the House of Representatives, the responsibility of negotiating a new loan from British financiers in 1871.
David Chinery, the British consul-general, gave Anderson $500,000 under very strict conditions, but Anderson received harsh criticism and was eventually taken into custody.
The following year, Anderson allegedly faced trial for his involvement in obtaining the loan. Though acquitted, he was fatally shot as he left the courthouse. Roye started a program of reconstruction with the intention of building new roads and schools.
Roye was removed as president on October 26, 1871.
Could it be GLO, Airtel or MTN that collected money to leak people's private conversation?
Could it be that obi or Oyedepo recorded the voice call, and then sent it to People's Gazette?
Could it be that it's an AI that did the job?
Secondly, there is nothing wrong in asking Oyedepo to help canvas Christian votes for him. I think either Aisha or Buhari went to Mbaka in 2015 to help them canvas Christian votes. They also went to Adeboye.
Even Tinubu asked many of his Bishops to endorse and help him canvas Christian votes.
Obi is not the first, and still won't be the last.
What people prefer to say in their private should remain in their private, they made it private for a reason.
So who's responsible for the leak, if its not fake?
OneTemplate: Obi yes Daddy has just shown that he hate the religion of his VP candidate by declaring Nigeria is at "religious war".
For the thinking man, all what we are seeing means Tinubu is to be commended for not indulging in the "religiously balanced ticket" that brought two bigoted and opportunist candidates together, in Obi and Datti, who were only pretending to be who they are not to get the keys to Aso Rock.
Once again, Tinubu has proven masterful in exposing the 'fakeness' of "religiously balanced ticket" as a cynical scam that brings strange bedfellows together to decieve gullible and faith-obsessed Nigerians. Tinubu's insistence on merit above everything else is the way forward for Nigeria.
When some of us (check my previous post) insisted more secularity in politics was the way forward and that Tinubu had set the right trend in delivering that, you lot made noise and insulted us.
Today Obi has been exposed to be hateful of the religion of his VP. Datti is a dangerous bigot who advocates the killing of LGBT.
Now crystal clear Tinubu was the candidate with the sincerest, most progressive and most evolutionarily laudable ticket.
Keep schooling them Jagaban as Awolowo, way ahead of his time, did before his death. RIP to the sage. One of the greatest Yorubas ever to live.

Afonja2: May be you are too young to understand. This is the opinion of other Nigerians about Igbo. This opinion was true, has been true and will continue to be true and it is the same reason they will never be allowed to rule this country.
And why are those Nigerians agitated by the possibility of Igbo leaving Nigeria for their own country? Igbo is dominating you because you're too lazy to compete. Igbo have been out of power for 50 years and yet the economically more prosperous than you are despite you all REFUSING level playing field. Igbo definitely didn't make you lazy or incapable of meeting up, so deal with it.
plessis: In the real world, the igbos had great respect for yorubas as competitors. This 2023 has exposed the later as lovers of criminality and injustice.
I don't support this. We witnessed Afenifere stand for the truth. Dubious Yoruba are in the minority just as we have some dubious minority in Igbo that voted APC for party sake.
maxist2020: The one is your business because asking after their cows for you to confirm the authenticity of the video is absurd and it means you are being a delusional Fulani apologist but whatever they think they can do let them bring it on, Igala land is not for Fulani and the Igala's will never run away from them.
I trust Igala, Eggon, Kanuri and Igbo for that one. The real warrior tribes in Nigeria.
Monogamy: But they are everywhere in your region now. You should know better
When you were a student. There were Vikings, Bucaneers, Kegites and all other organizations. Did you know them better because you were in the same school?
Cry all you want. Obi the bigot has been 'outed'. It was only a question of time. Like Obi like GRV. Obi has been an ethno-religious bigot and fascist his entire political life.
A vicious, divisive and very dangerous man. I would say shame on you Obidullards but most of you are hateful, bigoted and divisive like your messiah.
Definitely shame on Ngige for failing to support Jagaban , his saviour, after Obi wanted to create an ethnocentric insurrection against him and disenfranchisement for Ngige's candidacy in his own State of origin.
The chicken always comes home to roost for evil, bigoted and ungrateful people like you Ngige. It is not only Obi's career that just got ruined.
Oga, you're a hypocrite. Muslim-Muslim ticket is a uniting factor, not divisive. Go and sit down. Peter Obi remains the choice of sensible Nigerians and if God supports him, no baggar can stop him.
The point is Peter Obi at least tried his best confront that injustice and instead of defending his just cause, you are busy gloating over an evil which excludes a whole faith, maybe your faith. Such a shame
So you meant UGM and ESN must locate the wrath of God for their evil ways
Definitely. No evil shall go unpunished whether by the high or the low. That's why as Christians, our only hope is the remission of sin though the blood of Jesus, you get? Then rejection of sin after being granted forgiveness.
