Sometime back while we were still waiting for nlng to call for the AC, I made a comment here on how cruel it will be for nlng to drop anyone still left in this race. I can see now that d same fear has crept into the minds of many here. I know that we all cannot be taken at the same time but for the sake of all what we have invested in this recruitment emotionally which cannot be quantified I pray that by some miracle this happens even if its in batches.

I wont even wish my enemy a regret mail at this point of this recruitment but in the end what will be will be.
Sometimes, what things turn out to be isn't necessarily what they were meant to be.

Most times the little, little choices we make shape what things eventually turn out to be

I do believe in fate and destiny, however I also believe we are only fated to do the things we'd Choose anyway.

Anyways, different strokes for differnt folks.

I want to know if the AC in abuja and lagos where the same, since everybody is on a lowkey. Why is everyone mute about this AC sef? I go spill my beans ohh...
I just wonder why people are mute... there is nothing there to give people some heads up. Some claim Que sera sera.

Since I didnt do two A.Cs, I can't know for sure the answer to your question, but i hope this helps

During your participation in the Assessment Centre, a variety of techniques will be used i.e. Interviews, Questionnaires, Group Exercises, Role Play, Presentations, etc.

This will be employed to observe and measure your comprehensive attributes and skills (both as an individual and, in interaction with others) across a range of standardized situations.

Several Assessors/Observers are involved to minimize bias to as low as reasonably practicable.

Note:

· The duration of this exercise will be from 8.00am to about 6.00pm, please go prepared

· Snacks, drinks and lunch will be provided by NLNG at the Venue

· You are encouraged to go online and get more information on Assessment Centers

They look forward to seeing you.

Actually the closest star to us is our sun and the light from it takes about 8mins to touch down on earth surface..every other ascertions of yours barring dat are true.
Okay, cool. I never knew technically the sun was a Star. Thanks thoough
Science/TechnologyRe: 10 Cool Things About Stars by scarletdp(m): 5:04pm On Jul 06, 2015
Okay Just Check this out.

You know if it takes 5secs for a body thrown from a stand point to reach a particular height, it will also take 5secs for that body to get back to it's original position from that height.

The closest star is soooo far away that if we travel with the speed of light, it'll take us about 4 years to get to the closest star that's why no one has ever been to any star.

Also, it takes the same time (about 4years) for that light to travel from the star's location to our eyes. Hence the star you see on a particular night isn't there at all, it was there four years ago.

Some people will want food served them, and also want you to spoon feed them. DivineU has said all you need. Meanwhile, don't have any problem with those who just went quiet, it was necessary. I will quote one of the personnel. "WE 'VE BEEN FOLLOWING YOU GUYS UP ON NAIRALAND. WE ARE PARTICULARLY IMPRESSED WITH SOME THAT CHOSE TO MAINTAIN THE INTEGRITY OF THIS EXERCISE. FOR YOUR SAKE, WE SUGGEST, EVERYTHING STAYS HERE.....WE ARE ALREADY IN, YOU ARE THE ONES THAT WANT IN.....IF YOU JEOPARDIZE THE EXERCISE BY RAISING THE BAR, IT'S YOUR FAULT"

You can't get that and start ratting the details here. As for the non-sensitive parts,
1. Transport will be paid irrespective of wherever you are coming from, only present your tickets if you flew at all. Not immediately anyway.
2. About 500 plus were called up with .... number required (I'm sorry i can't say that not to distract anyone. The number is good, only believe God to see you through)
3. There is only about 50% chance you will be in the same group with people of your field. Maybe 60% though as you could see French graduate with an Architect and engineer, so you are not competing with anyone
4. About 20 people a day but your group will not be more than 5.
5. You will go through various assessors, so bias is STRONGLY minimized. Meanwhile, the assessors have such great personality that made it seem they had been told to make sure everyone succeeds. Even if you deviate, they will help you to come on track. They are that good.
6. All the exercises are just as stated in the second mail, nothing more.....and please stop being apprehensive, they are not different from the things you have seen on the internet
7. You never can tell what they are looking for as they are as expressionless as those Americans that deny people visa. they just keep writing and writing, but believe me, it's not scores they are writing, so you can peep till Jesus comes, you won't see anything useful to you.
8. By now, you should know you not in competition with anyone, but yourself. Be yourself and nothing more, it's just like another social gathering and let God's presence be with you
9. If you think 1 hour is a long time because of some sermons you hear, then the exercise will teach you that one hour is no time. So don't try to impress anyone, just be what God made you.
10. Finally, I tried to be cautious with the food part. Lo and behold, I shortchanged myself cos no one was assessing that. We were on our own. You will be faced with varieties of sumptuous meals. it's simply king style (or NLNG style). Don't be like me, enjoy yourself to the fullest....Maybe they may start assessing that area sha but I doubt it.
Aswear, this gave more hints than whatever anyone could have said/written verbatim. More power to your elbow bruv.

That's why each section has a Moderator(s). When 'people' here were busy insulting each other because of Disclosure / Non-Disclosure acts, that was the only solution. As far as I can see, relevant and important comments are still existing.

Since I joined Nairaland in 2011, this has always been my only account. And if for some reason it gets sentenced to some psychopathic ban time, then that will be bye-bye to Nairaland altogether cos I dont think I have the capacity to open and run another account. Neither do I have the capacity to run 2 accounts simultaneously.

So, assuming I had 2 or more accounts running, I would have told you FORK YOU. Why? Cos I dont subscribe to threats. Either in the real or virtual world. But because this is the only account I've got, and I wouldnt like it to be banned, I'll say No- I wouldnt want to be banned for a year.
